Cool spot to watch Texas v Ohio State CFP semi. Here from USA and managed to catch the game. Beer is cold, pie was delicious and great service. Top it off had a nice win on the poker machines.

Decent pub.

The service staff work hard and are generally friendly. But to turn your TAB terminals off when the main game has not even started is lazy at best, undermining the nature of the pub. There were only 5 people in the pub, at least leave 1 terminal on.

Located on Marrickville road opposite the Commonwealth Bank not far from the corner of Illawarra road. Consists of a main bar up front with a tab dog and horse betting area to one side. Multiple races and sports on various screens. Betting tables. Out back is a Gaming Area consisting of Pokies only. Smoking and non smoking sections. Open to 2am most days and later on weekends. Not much to comment on the decor as is bland and unimpressive but simple in its right. Free tea, coffee and soft drinks in Gaming area. Average price beer wine and spirits.

The worst bar I've ever been to, dirty, untidy, rude bartender and one of them barely can speak English. Awful. Easily go a little bit further to Royal Exchange Hotel and enjoy a good service and respect for customers.

From European point of view it was a trip back to 90th. Pub looked exactly like that, in Europe after law change the pokies disappeared and that was definitely good thing! Beer 🍺 was good, service also, but the games... strange and so the people playing it. ;-) it is not problem of this specific pub but that is not what I like.

Staff are super lovely- very chill place to go and watch rugby or play pokies. They bring food too. Open till 4am every mon-sat

Basically a direct line from centrelink into their bank accounts. This place thrives on the misery and desparation of the vulnerable. It's bereft of redeeming features. May they go out of business sooner rather than later
