good value for money on food

Stayed for 4 nights, very clean room with air con. One very comfy single and a double bed. Cleaner's come in an make the bed and are friendly and acommodating. 6 coffee shops nearby, bus stop to Marion shopping cente 7 minutes walking. Beach, 15 minutes walking diatance. Be back again.

Stayed for days. Staff super friendly. Room very clean. The bed was made for me every day with the floor being moped and tea and coffee replenished. 7 minute walk to bus stop which runns from Mosley square to Westfield Marion the largest in the state. I counted five Cafe's near by. 10 minute walk to beach and 15 or so ro Moseley square, the centre of the universe. Will be back next year.

Used to stay on a semi regular basis, happy to pay $125 for what is a very basic and antiquated accommodation. Tiny bathrooms still sporting 70's fixtures etc. However the price has jumped to $165 per night without any upgrades. For another $4 we can stay at the Stamford Grand Glenelg. No comparison.

Very cold, air-conditioned needs upgrade

Have not been here for a over a year, since covid and the updates in the venue. Went this evening, sat for half an hour, played the pokies with the husband, until staff came and told me the facial recognition cameras picked me up as being barred from the property & was asked to leave. Actual ridiculous, I rarely go out. Ever. Never gamble. Never experienced anything like that before, ever. Will never go back. What fuxximg joke.

Perfectly fine if you like black mould in the bathroom, a layer of grime on most things, little to no cutlery and crockery, no bed head so you have to lean on the dirty (literal smears of something) wall and filthy cups in the fridge. Luckily I arrived sick because I probably would have left sick. Giving one star for the super friendly gentleman who checked us in.

Our go to when we are in town, stayed here 4 times now with 2 more in the near future already booked

Never stay on a Saturday night, they literally have a party in the carpark. There is a function room 3 car lengths from our room and there is no noise restrictions. People sing and play the tamberen until early hours of the morning. God help anyone who falls into this trap like we did 0 out of 5. Writing this at 327am

A little dated and the lighting was not very good, especially in the bathroom. It was a convenient location for our purpose.

We enjoyed our stay. Great location and beautiful cafes and the pub across the rd food was magnificent! But I have to say. The room we were allocated was by far nothing like the photos on the website. Nice clean bedding and fresh sheets. The queen bed was hard as a rocks and only 1 bedside table. That was annoying. We are a family of 5 so I looked for a motel that had interconnecting doors. This room (25) was perfect that way however the kitchenette was in the kids room (3 single beds) so was hard to relax and make a cuppa etc at night times when they all were in bed. The kitchen table was smaller than a card table. And only had 1 dining chair for a room accommodating 5 people I didn't think this was good! There was 2 old and saggy single lounge chairs that you couldn't even sit at the tiny table with. The chairs were very shabby and old and the bathroom needs a good update the drains stank like surage and the shower head was old and dripped water. The outside light was on a timer and was shining straight through the old venishion blinds until after 11pm at night. So no chance getting to sleep! In saying that all we only paid $200 a night so you get what you pay for but it seems like false advertising to me. Some very basic and easy updates would make a huge impact and difference to this room. New furniture. A few pictures on the wall a new blind. Would make a big difference. Thank you

The rooms are old and outdated, and lacking fresh airflow. HOWEVER the beds are super comfortable and the room clean. Additional items (iron/board, hair dryers) are available for use from the office. We had a very good stay here and the food at the hotel was exceptional.

Been for lunch here a lot and have all ways found the food and service very good. The rooms are old but clean and comfortable, will be back ...

We used the venue to host a 21st on the 14/3/20. The process and organisation was excellent. The staff on the night were excellent and could not ask for any better. Thank you very much it made it to be a great night.

It's hardly the Motel's fault but I've had to stop going because of a loud and aggressive client.

The room was disgusting it was dirty there was pubic hair on the floor in the bathroom it was blood and dirt on the basin and the manager couldn't even bother to get back to us about the problem and only offered a $20 voucher to use at the motel I would never recommend this motel to anyone it was in a good area in Glenelg but the service and the room was disgusting:(

We stayed here recently and met the most beautiful employee who was happy always smiling and absolutely professional, we only remember her name as ‘D’? If only the rest of this place adopted this employees attitude it would of been great! We have stayed in 5 star accommodation across the world and only found ourselves there as it was fully booked in our preferred hotel. We were so refreshed after our stay and this was largely due to this lovely lady there so we would recommend this place to anyone and hope they meet this person as we did.

Dining room very small but very well run. Food delicious and has a home cooked feel. We have enjoyed every meal we have had there Will continue to eat there.😊

The rooms were spacious but need a really good clean. The food at the restaurant was average.

Very nice

Had no shampoo, conditioner or soap. You had to bring your own or go bye some OR shower without Anny soap. The toilet paper was hung on the door. They had no locks on the toilet doors. The air conditioning was high up on the wall and to turn the air con to different temperatures you had to climb a chair. The beds were really bounce but still comfortable. They had a tv that you could watch and right next to the beds where a switch to turn on the tv so you don't have to get up. They had a single bed and a double bed which was really good. :-D:-[

I just love this place. Be sure to ask for a room in the hotel, not the motel. The motel has all that old motel furniture and the hotel is super deluxe. Tell Bud you know the score, and double wink for the special. Be sure and get one of the canoe beds, no rolling around in one of those. A lot,of people,don’t like Anthony, but if you treat him right, he’ll tell you stuff. He has been around a lot, he knows where the good stuff is. Give him a single,wink, never a double because he gets very angry at the double wink. This place just can’t be beat.

Great stay near beach and close to bars arrived day late due to flight delay and was refunded night stay without even asking easy going and friendly digs would recommend stayed 5 nights and found plenty to do

This room was clean but very old. The bed was too close to the wall so every time I swung my legs to get off the bed, I kicked the wall. They did not provide shampoo or a hair dryer and the small soap did not have a pleasant smell and felt quite greasy. The air conditioner was very noisy. I don’t think we would ever stay there again.
