Located at 351 Bay Street, Brighton-Le-Sands, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 A great club where there’s so much going on! It’s very nicely designed, creating a relaxing and welcoming vibe when you come in the front door. On Mondays, there’s a Meat Raffle and also Trivia for Members. On Tuesdays, there is Poker and Members Bonus Points Draw. On Wednesdays, there’s Bingo at 10.30am, Raffles and Member Badge Draws. On Thursdays there’s another Trivia Night from 7.00pm. Fridays is a Big Day! There’s Bingo at 10.30am, Raffle at 1.00pm (tickets on sale 12.00pm) , Member Badge Draws and DJ Bingo from 7.00pm. On Sundays there’s Raffles with tickets selling from 2.00pm and Member Badge Draws. The Bistro (Mike’s Grill) has a great selection of meals to choose from. There’s also Specials from Monday to Thursday. There’s great Live Entertainment shows also, particularly on the weekends. It’s a wheelchair 🦼 accessible club which is good for our group which includes people with mobility. The food was delicious. I had Garlic Prawns Linguine. I liked it but was very filling. Couldn’t finish. The rest of my group liked their meals also. Parking 🅿️ is not the best, especially if you’re trying to unload a person in a wheelchair 🧑‍🦼. Other than that, I would definitely recommend. Thumbs Up!! 👍👍👍👍

Great food and great service. Yesterday, my family and I had lunch there, and we had a great time. People are friendly and welcoming. Well, one guy, you are great … I recommend having family lunch or dinner there.

This is my local and I'm sad to say I always have issues or am told what to do when I go there especially around this smoking area. I don experience that at any other pub or rsl. The ladies behind the bar are great and welcoming but when it comes to stupid rule enforcement, chill out a bit. The renovation has made this place so much more inviting which is great. Overall worth a visit and food is great What a joke of a place on my thurs double well bar staff was on notice made me feel like a criminal. Stuff this place was dripping 500 a week at least on meals and drinks gone will highly recommend locals to go elsewhere pathetic service even from staff that are happy to receive tips but then be arse holes. Avoid I through my membership card at front of house worst rsl in Sydney good luck lose another 9 of me and it’s 10k a week.

Still the same quality and quantity of food as previous visits years ago. Clean and Tidy and good atmosphere.

There is a long beach and a walking path for exercising and cycling.Weekends and public holidays are crowded and there are jet ski groups.

I had the fisherman's basket for dinner. Fresh ingredients. AMAZING value.

Overall, it was okay, but the salad served was quite a small portion.

This bloke wouldn’t let me in at 10:55 pm, and when I finally called them at 11:05 pm after waiting till 11 for someone with some sense to pop up, I started calling them. The guy goes out back and comes back to yell ‘we’re closed’ through the door. Wouldn’t even come up to the door to speak to me like a civilised person. Plus, their hours say they close at 11:30. Why are they all getting paid to close shop early?

Very hard to park the food ok not great

I understand not too many people will relate to what I experienced in this club, nor could I comment on any food or drinks as I have no idea that why I don’t have access to my local club as I never submitted any self exclusion form. On 14/09/2024 around 9pm, I was told by the gentleman at the door that I was banned from the venue. He suggested that I call the last RSL club I visited without showing me the evidence that I am on any self exclusion list in this club. Then I called on 17/09/2024 and only found out that I am NOT on their list, and I was told that I was banned by TAB which I don’t even have an account with. I called the club again and was told that if I go there again, I need to ask for supervisor on duty. She emphasised that she can’t promise that the supervisor can solve the problem. All the staff members in this venue I interacted with so far have pointed me to wrong directions and been showing their inefficiency and incapability. The only thing they did was to shove me out of the door and waste my time providing incorrect information. I understand the club won’t care but I hope one day they will fix this stupid issue and come up with something instead of pushing out a hungry customer who simply want some food who doesn’t even gamble or drink let alone being on a self exclusion list.

Amazing staffs at the restaurant..Food is always fresh. Choice of gluten free…and tasty.Great choice of seafood ,salads and meat dishes.

I had to wipe my own table, Bought 1 schnitzel and 1 roast pumpkin and spinach salad and waited for 50 minutes this not acceptable since they were not busy I was told when I asked why is it so late that everyone came at once We ordered before a group of doctors and they were served first I feel very upset that they discriminated against me and my family My two children were starving while we waited Iam very disappointed in this customer service

The atmosphere was good. Fairly quiet for a Saturday lunch. The food was fantastic from Mike's Grill & Bar.

Wow went here with son and grandson after reading a review and thought well we’ll see how good it really is. Purchased 2x adult meals and child’s meal. Steak and parmigiana were amazing huge meal’s fantastic food great service you couldn’t do better. Best parmigiana I’ve ever had I added steamed veggies well only ate about half of it. Son had a steak and also said it was amazing , grandson ate all of his dinner which I’ve never seen before. Great atmosphere, great food , great staff, very friendly. Well worth going here.

Last weekend we celebrated my Mums 80th Birthday. A big shout out to Rob and his amazing team. They catered for 25 of us. The food was amazing, the portions were generous. They were so helpful and Jasmin was awesome with the children and the best customer service. So thankful to you all, for making the afternoon super special for mum. Cheers! Highly recommend.

Our family was stuck with a place to celebrate my Mum's 80th Birthday. Lucky for us Rob and Jasmin at the RSL were happy to accommodate us with the most amazing food and excellent service, which made the event very memorable for our family. I can't speak highly enough about this place!

I feel very excited! I have been to a lot of RSL restaurants! Out of the blue my partner and I called in for lunch! I wasn't expecting what I got! It was the best atmosphere! I have felt ever! The door staff! The bar staff! All the all the patrons in general! I am still talking about it with my partner, going back again soon! Not to mention the food! Really good prices not over the top! I recommend if you are going out for a drive from the west, call in here! My best review ever! ❤️

Great experience ! We had a table set up for us within minutes and great food for a group of 12.

Five drinks in under two hours, I’m 55 kilos and no nuts , chips etc offered to me. When I asked the staff members, they explained that it was beyond their control and that they are following management. The general manager of this club should be fired or at least demoted. I’m still trying to find my way home, I’m out of the area. Shame on you GM and thanks to you staff for not making me feel homeless, just because I asked you for a little bit of food x

I visited the rsl in Brighton le sands for evening dinner, l ordered a sirloin steak it was cooked medium rare and I can understand why as if it was cooked medium it would have been like rubber After talking to a staff member they said you can take it back to the chief but it would not have made any difference as the quality of the meat was poor Unfortunate

Nice club. need to improve their card system as the cards stop working and they won’t give you the discount until you go to the staff for a new card. i’m up to my 5th card just won’t come back too much trouble. particularly with the gruff unfriendly lady at the food ordering counter. she should not work serving people.

Brighton-Le-Sands has a number of fantastic places to eat. Unfortunately tonight we chose the RSL to have a meal. The weekly dinner I enjoy with my family was a disaster. Mum had a grilled chicken that was served dry with potato that was indescribable and a coleslaw that was inedible. My son and I both ate a stir fry from the specials board and to say it was a packet mix from the supermarket would be a disservice to Coles & Woolies. The garlic bread was just edible but probably because we were hungry. The garlic cheese bread was a 100% no go. Never again!

We dropped in to watch the Matildas game and also had dinner at Mike’s bistro. The food was good and portions generous, it’s worth ordering meals to share. There are multiple spaces for chilling and watching the sports playing on the screens. Upstairs is the gaming area. There is limited street parking and a free parking structure behind the RSL. Good atmosphere with everyone cheering on the game.

Fantastic large barramundi fillet made by The Chef Rob, just for $28 with salad and mash. Great value for money, delicious meals. Definitely recommend!

It's definitley worth visiting the bistro. The food is well priced and the plates coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. We ordered from the specials board. . The 1kg mussels and the grilled plate...5 stars. Have recommended to many people since then. The atmosphere of the club was good and the staff all very welcoming.

Our go to Hotel Accommodation in Sydney. Convenient location. Hotel is being refurbished at present, staff are friendly and price is great for Sydney accommodation.

Gave up trying to order lunch. Staff to busy complaining about rosters to be bothered serving customers.
