Great course and friendly staff. Tamika is amazing. Highly recommend this golf course for anyone who wants a great meal, drink and round of golf. The recent renovations are great.

2 stars for staff who seemed lovely to find us a table and happy service + the Cob Loaf. Where we lost the other 3 stars - As locals we hadn’t visited in a while due to substandard food quality, we thought after renovations we’d give it another go. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Staff did help us to a table on the verandah but it was around the corner from the smoking area where we copped the cigarette smoke scent immediately, aside from us not wanting to eat in that we also have children so forced us down to the newer outdoor open area with less shade (again with kids not ideal!). We ordered the cob loaf (star worthy), the smoke board and a chicken schnitzel. The smoke board was so disappointing, the meat was all dry and well overcooked, the little mini buns were hard as rocks, the only ok part was the corn (only small), onion rings (3) and Mac & cheese! The chicken schnitzel was also very dry. As locals we’d really love to see an improvement to the food component of visiting Tallai country Club!

First time in 3 year sorry to say the the food was terrible orders came out in dribs and drabs and over priced. Food was just was bland and not worth the wait very disappointing we all had high hopes.

Back after renovations. Disappointed in meals. General feedback from our group of 7 was steak, chicken and brisket was dry. Brisket was tough. Sauces very salty. Such a shame as prices didn't reflect expectations. Positive was cob loaf and pumpkin salad yummy.

Hmmmmm, decided to go back to the Tallai for trivia night after the renovations, booked a table for 9 people, but I’m sorry to say that we were very disappointed. There was no sign of an attendant in the gaming room, so I had to continually ask at the bar for assistance. Chelsie that hosts the trivia was fantastic, as usual, but there was so much noise from the sports bar that we could hardly hear her, she soldiered on and did her very best, but the biggest disappointment was the food, it was terrible, we thought that the new menu sounded amazing, but it was very disappointing. If you want your local community to frequent the Tallai, then you really need to lift your game, sorry to say. but probably won’t go back

First time today for lunch since the renovations have been completed. It looks great and the staff were friendly. However there is no excuse for cold stale chips with a Parmi. Hope that improves.

Unfortunately the pizza tasted like eating cardboard with toppings on it. Though the atmosphere was great and golf was good.

Recently renovated, family friendly and great outlook. Love this little Country Club. Staff always trying to improve their customer’s experience. I had to send back my order and the manager ensured quick and friendly amends. Definitely come back on a regular basis.

Very good re furbishment which is ongoing. Food very nice as was the service. Kye was very good and helpful, never stopped the whole time we were there making sure everyone was looked after, did a check back on our food after we received it which isn’t very common at a lot of places. Thoroughly recommend.

Well worth a visit. Great value for money food. Nice views.

Challenging 9hole golf course great club with great staff good food and awesome outdoor area.

Do not waste your money or time. Upon arrival it’s a work site. Outdoor tables and chairs covered in builders dust. Staff don’t leave the bar to collect empty glasses or wipe down tables. Wine list is only available by request and you are told not look on the other side as food is unavailable also the staff member had zero knowledge of the wines chosen on the list and was unable to recommend any wines only that one was more popular than the other. This was once a lovely country pub but not any more.

All that a local club ought to be! Warm, friendly and inviting staff, incredible food, timely service and a fun golf course to get around on. We love our new local.

Unsung hero of gold courses in the area... Awesome little par 3 course that is challenging to the beginner to intermediate golfer. Greens are a little slow to what I'm used to in Canberra, but after 3 holes, I got the hang of it. There is one par 4 hole, 230mtre that is drivable. I know this as I drive it both times round. Just got on the front 1st time & 1 mtre from the pub 2nd time. (See last pic.) Birdied both times... If a little unfit like me, I recommend hiring a buggy. Now, onto the bistro... OMG... The reviews are spot on with how awesome the menu, food & service. I suggested we have dinner here afterwards & although she was reserved we needed a wheelbarrow to help us to our car... lol... Good wine list also & excellent selection of spirits at the bar. Local beer is also available. $57 for 18 holes & drive buggy.

Don't waste your time coming here to dine! We had a very disappointing experience all around! Will not be back

Great Burgers, very generous and well presented, well cooked, very fresh

Surprisingly difficult 9 hole course partially due to the fact that it is so dry at the moment but partially due to it being very, very hilly. The bonus is the fact that it was so quiet on the weekday that we went that we could take our time and weren't rushed to play. The staff at the clubhouse are super friendly and helpful.

Biggest meals EVER for lunch... Great choices on the menu... Fantastic staff who are very welcoming. I'm not a golf person but, it doesn't matter because the view and your company is just as good.

Atmosphere is fresh and inviting as you walk towards the entrance by the Tallai Country Golf Club overlooking the bast view of the golf course and the side of the hilly mountains is wonderful! There is a complete dining area outside along with tables and decorative lights in the palm trees and along with another section outside along the veranda also overlooking the great view! As we arrived to the Tallai Gold Club we were just in time for the meat raffle’s and a team of teenager boys were selling raffle tickets and they’re so well mannered and very, very polite “old school ethic”👌🏼I was so impressed! Good work boys 👍🏼👍🏼 I actually won a meat tray and they consisted x12 steaks and x4 beef/veggie kebabs- I couldn’t resist and bbq’d the kebabs when I got home, absolutely delicious 😋!!! Club has two side parkings available and easily accessible for the disability plus off road 🅿️ parking. Highly recommend this genuine place of service and the quality of food is great value👏👏👏

This place used to be awesome,new owners now and the food is average,the last few times I have been my steak was that tuff and fatty would be better eating my sho...I'm done here now not coming back

This is a great place to spend a few hours with friends. The golf course, while only 9 holes, is challenging but really enjoyable. The food is plentiful and really good. The atmosphere and views over the golf course are wonderful.

Great location and it's about to turn really fancy so get in before the revamp and experience the course and restaurant.

Great place for a seniors lunch Monday to Friday food was great. However they only do all day dining on the weekends now.

This was my first time to the Tallai golf club, can I just say it was a great time. Good price for 18 holes and buggy hire. One of the great staff members would come by and take a drinks order and delivered it to us on the course. Food was great too, what’s better than golf, a few beers, live music sunshine and friends. Will come back

Amazing outlook and food. Such a gem of a find.

A nice family friendly venue with various specials available throughout the week, including live music and trivia nights. The food on offer is standard pub grub and varies in quality. I ordered the steak medium and got it rare, whereas others in our party got there's as ordered. This is not the first time this has happened to one of our group. Nothing that can't be fixed but attention to service could be better.

We went there on Sunday for a birthday lunch there was 14 of us ,the food was sensational and everyone was happy with their meals ( that never EVER happens). The atmosphere and entertainment were top notch and we took home the meat tray, what's not to love. Highly recommended.

Being local, we thought we would give it a go. Unfortunately over priced and under supplied. Schnitzel and chips came with way too much salt and the slaw wasn't fresh and was drowning in dressing. Snapper was also way too salty. Overall it was so disappointing. We used to love it. More drink choices would have been great also. Eg Diet coke. We will not be back. What a shame!

Great place to hang out have a hit, a bet or watch the footy The menu is quite varied and good, I have tried most dishes with no complaint. Give it a go I don't thi k you will be disappointed.

Always been relaxing, great atmosphere, good food quality and efficient service, get my Cab Sav fix there every weekend. NRL game usually in the dining room perfect.

its about food and it was well below standard. I boast to my interstate visitors how good the menus is including the crumbed lamb cutlets. No longer will .At the table all portions were undersize and overcooked. The hamburger bun had burnt edges. Calamary I could have done better. Crumbed fish dry and not much bigger than your thumb. lambs fry and bacon just slop and so on . forget about the makeover except for the toilets which need a lot of work. Remember its quality of food and reasonable portions. Don't take your customers for granted

Had a fun day here in January 2023. Nice little 9 hole track, including one short par 4. Good to practice your short game. The course surprised me with some elevation changes, the third and fifth hole both elevated tees with a great outlooks. A really nice casual vibe with the staff and players all very relaxed. The course won't ever feature in top 100 lists, but a fun experience including excellent country style clubhouse.

Food over priced and asked for a gluten free burger as on menu. Wife has been sick all night so clearly NOT 🙄. I had the Wellington Beef while the beef was beautifully cooked it was served with a crack salad so not impressed. I have been going to the Tallai Golf club for the past 4yrs and this was by far my worst experience.

Took the family for an early dinner on Trivia Night! Super busy with such a mix of locals & visitors - great, friendly atmosphere :-) Upgraded menu is absolutely delicious! Very tasty share plates - the halloumi is my current favourite! Upcoming renovations look fantastic - a definite 5 star once all works are complete 🤩

Best place ever

This was a lovely place for meals would come here at least 2-3 times a week by ourselves and with friends but the menu has changed and the food is really not what the locals loved about the Tallai Golf club, shame let us know when you decide to bring back the sunday roast
