Excellent band, most up for dancing. Fun night. Everyone happy, no problems all night. Food was great. Parking provided and street parking not a problem. Great night with friends.

Disappointed You guys are my local and we eat there on a regular basis, but the last meal was so disappointing, l went for the roast of the day, as you normally do beef or pork, but this time it was Turkey but not real Turkey but Turkey loaf, bland, boring and tasteless no structure as it is a processed meat 30% meat scrapes and 70% added water, binders and gelatine l could of cut it with the serviette l didn't need a knife. You will always be my local, but let's not go down the cheap and nasty path for the sake of convenience and saving a dollar.

Very nice place

Tried calling to make a booking and was rudely and abruptly told they were booked out and only accepting walk ins. Advised them I was trying to do the right thing and book as there are 10 of us, which turned into 12 and was advised they are booked out. Booked for a table of 10 online, rocked up the place was empty. The rudeness of the person on the phone, just turning away business when hospitality venues are struggling was ridiculous. The food however was excellent, luckily my parents really wanted to otherwise I wouldn’t of bothered.

Called in today for lunch. Only one couple seated and when a staff member appeared they just disappeared out back. They were obviously rushed off their feet so I decided to leave.

This was a good place in the past, but every time we come here it is getting worse and worse. The beer selection is pathetic, the craft beers have almost disappeared from the menu. Today was the first day we could not find any. The irony is that there is Sip'n' save 50 metres away where lots of good stuff is present. Not everything they have is printed on the menu, so we have to guess. Why is that? The front staff is doing their job, not without mistakes, but they fix them and do better - provide complimentary meals.

We celebrated our family get together in December. All meals arrived at the same time (16 meals) everyone was happy with their meal. All meals were of a high standard. The service was of a high standard. A very pleasant place. Last time I was at the bridge way was more than 25 years ago. I will now become a regular. Well done to all staff

Food for a party of about 20 people took nearly an hour to be delivered from the first to the last plate. Asking for no onion in a chicken burger meal leaves a bun with a small piece of chicken, unwashed lettuce and plain potato not chips as there seasoned with onion salt at some stage to. Plain to say the least. Brisket is just flavourless Bar staff seemed new as no one except one new how to make the drinks that are on the board for there specials. That person was taking food orders so interesting to say the least when when handed a drink and was told ‘let me know how it is as I haven’t made these before’ Won’t be back

Don't bother with the Pizzas. Bulk pre made base and burnt to boot. Other food looks OK but I'm stuck to pizza when I take mum out. She can't eat a big meal so we share a Pizza. I won't be returning for more, good prices, such a shame. Management should invest in making their own bases instead of bringing in frozen crap.

Another diamond in the rough, so to speak. I walked in after 25yrs and was amazed at the venue size, numerous bars, dining areas, outside and huge screen plus live music. I couldn't believe how is changed from so long ago. Nice afternoon with friends in the sports bar. Relaxed, easy to chat without the loud background noises. Totally a great place to gather with friends regularly.

Had to be one of the worst meals I have ever eaten in a pub/hotel Don’t think the oil in the fryers has been changed for quite some time the chips and the coating of the chicken schnitzel tasted terrible and the chicken was over cooked and tough The roast of the day was also poor no roast potatoes or Yorkshire pudding as advertised The carrots were very tough I expected better after paying almost $100 I spoke to some staff regarding the poor quality But nothing eventuated Not recommended and would not return

The size of Chargrilled Loukaniko for $15 looked nothing like the menu photo, about a snag and half at best. The hand stretched pizza was pizza on pita bread. ok taste but for $25 would have expected more. The patties in the Wagyu Beef Burger were manufactured and tasted very average for a $26 burger. Overall very average food for the price, won’t be going back.

Unfortunately we had a very poor dining experience. My husband had a salad which was dry and bland - little to no dressing. I had fish and chips and one piece of the fish was literally inedible - I couldn't even cut rubbery skin with my knife or prize the small amount of flesh off the rubbery skin. The other piece was just just cooked. Other people at the table seemed to enjoyed their meals but we certainly lucked out! It was so poor it puts me off going back.

Wow what an atmosphere! The service here is also great. I wasn't too impressed with my meal and it was quite expensive but other meals did look pretty good.

Great wagyu burger. Great pale ale. Good kids menu. Staff very pleasant.

Disappointing..had squid which was very nice, but the salad was basically wilted mixed greens and diced cucumber. Chips were not nice, flavourless. Staff very helpful.

We were there for a Christmas lunch for our retirement village. There weren't many choices but everyone enjoyed their food. Large servings were a bit much for many seniors.

Went at lunchtime, was quiet. Big open areas which was good. Staff were friendly.

Lemon meringue pie was $15 and was like soup without lemon in a hard shell. Schnitzels were good though.

First time here last time also The girl who took our order didn't want to be there, my wifes fiish had raw batter, my schnitzel was very ordinary with tasteless sauce. Went to the toilet couldn't dry my hands no hand towels and the blow dryer was hanging of the wall with damage to it, if I could give a lower score i would, warning don't go here anyone

Worse lunch ever experience in this place I order fish and chips fish is raw with sticky flour in it. Taste is average the snitzel sauce like jelly . I told the girl who serve us theres nothing even apologies and take the food of my daughter without saying anything. Never ever come back here waste of money

Had a date there Saturday, we both ordered beef Switzerland, was hard and over cooked, my date complained, and got her money back , I tried to eat mine , didn't get halfway through snitzel, and got up and walked out. Won't be going back there anytime soon, ☹️

Great place for live music and for a bite to eat

Describe my experience , well when i ordered scotch fillet cooked medium and i get cooked rare and full of sinyu not happy , salad and dressing was eye watering otherwise boring

This place is going downhill. The food is very average at best. Service is poor. Wait staff don't want to be there. Don't complain as it goes no further. We were told on several occasions that we couldn't have a sopporo 500ml as all the glasses were dirty. We could if we were willing go to other patrons tables to bring back the dirty glasses so we could then get the beer? Tables were left dirty, just so dissapointing.

Generous portion~~ all ingredients are super fresh. Soooo~ kind server. Fantastic atmosphere.

Selection and prices are good. I went on a Saturday afternoon and the place was virtually empty. Having people bring their dogs and letting them walk around not on a leash was a big put off though.

Good atmosphere, the beer garden is a good place to hang out, the food was pretty good. The bar staff were great, but especially the young lad who made me a frozen espresso martini, as the machine no longer exists. I was DEVASTATED about this. That machine was so good 🥹

Massive steak, perfect in every way

Great experience at the Bridgeway Hotel! The kids' menu is fantastic, with a drink and ice cream included in the price, making it excellent value for money. The quality of food was good, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend for families looking for a quality dining experience!

I often go to the quiz night here on Wednesday. The quiz is really good, good atmosphere, great host, sometimes I even win! Staff generally nice and attentive. The food, however, has been a mixed bag. A few times we have had pizzas and they have been raw-ish in the middle. The steak night deal is good and the steak is excellent though! Generally delicious deserts as well with generous portions.

Booked in here for my daughter's 18th, booked well in advance and requested to have our table in the dining room set up along the window and close to a corner so that we could set ourselves up away from other guest but also be able to set up a gift/cake table. a few weeks after making the initial booking I called to check if our request would be possible and we were advised it shouldn't be a problem. The person on the phone also advised me Of cakeage fee and what that included, I agreed to it as it would allow myself to enjoy the night more rather then dealing with the cake. On the afternoon of the party/dinner I called to reduce numbers as we had some cancellations, without prompting the lady on the phone confirmed our table request and confirmed I was aware of cakeage fee. The time arrived on the night and we were greeted by our table being set up smack bang in the middle of the dining room surrounded by other diners tables, plus no extra table, to say I was disappointed and frustrated is a big understatement. I approached one of the staff who confirmed it was in the notes out request for the table set up and apologised and advised she could arrange to move us. I appreciated her offer and took her up on it, unfortunately no other staff helped her so we were then required to give her a hand. As the night went on the service from the dining room staff was not great. Empty jugs were left on table, along with empty glasses, dirty plates. At one point one waitress brought out more entrees (I ordered a bunch four our guest to share) and she placed the new food onto a plate of chicken wings bones I had on a plate. What the hell? Why not remove the plate first the table looked like a bomb went off by the end of the night as not a single dirty, finished plate or cup was removed, shocking service. Those girls were either lazy or just incompetent, one if fact was overheard complaining about our table making a comment that there were more entrees and food ordered then people, sorry I wasn't aware she was shouting our meals. Towards the end of our meal I asked for the cake to be brought out so it had time to become a bit more room temperature so it was served in it's best form, after half an hour we had to ask again. Finally they brought the cake, no knife to then cut it so again we had to hunt someone down, we were then given a serrated knife which is useless for cutting cake, it makes it crumble. Our cake was never taken away to cut and serve up as per previous discussion about cakeage fee so we were left to do it ourselves, at this point I didn't cake cause it probably would have been butchered unless kitchen staff did timber asked later on for our box to put the cake back into, instead of it being brought to us one of the girls dumped it on the table closest to the kitchen, seriously, the girls that night were so lazy, at this point the table was still a mess and most people stood and ate their cake. The chefs in the kitchen were amazing, considering how busy the entire place was, the meals were fast and tasty but the staff allocated to the dining room were useless bar one.

Food was good, service was quick and efficient. Nice atmosphere with the plants and stuff. Only criticism is tv is blindingly bright at night.

Love the look of the place but ordered a chicken parmi for lunch and there is no ham on it and the sauce wasn't nic. Really bad and could be better

3/4 dishes were delicious. Our pasta dish was quite lacking, would not order again. We waited quite awhile as it was quite a busy night, alcohol was served a bit slower than preferred (brought to table). Would still return. 4.5 stars

Huge screen!!

Service and food was great. The portion sizes were fantastic. My steak was cooked exactly how I requested it, and the cocktails we asked for were amazing. They weren't on the menu, but they were more than happy to be creative and make what I was wanting. The service was outstanding. My partner had the American burger, he loved it. It was very juicy meat and the flavour was great.
