This is the first time I visited, I really enjoyed the meal it was first class for a peasant, the club itself at least on the ground floor was pleasant, I am sure I will be visiting again 😁

I had my daughter's 21st upstairs in the Seabrook room and have nothing but praise for the whole team at Club Five Dock! La Casa provided excellent food, staff were so friendly and helpful and the bar staff looked after us all!! DJ arranged by La Casa as well as flowers/backdrop. All we did was organise a photo booth. Just a great venue and facilities. Support your local. Will definitely be back for my other daughter's 21st next year!!

My husband, son and myself had dinner there on Friday 10/01/25 at Dock & Co. My husband had the Chilli Prawn Spaghetti; my son had the Panko Crumbed Chicken Schnitzel with chips & salad, mushroom sauce; and I had the Rump Steak Sandwich & chips. Now I’m going to tell you the 💯 truth…all the meals were eaten in silence and nothing was left on the plates. Absolutely delicious & great value for price. I love pasta and have ordered pasta there twice since Dock & Co took over as it simply was not what pasta tastes like, there was no flavour and was over cooked. Both times was what my husband ordered on Friday. Had I known that Dock & Co had upped their game I would have 💯 gotten a pasta. From what I tasted oh my goodness…it was delicious. I now cannot wait to come back and order a pasta. Such a shame I couldn’t add photos to this review. Thank you Dock & Co for our wonderful meals

From the moment we walked in, the staff were attentive, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure the night was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety that catered to all of our guests' tastes. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a truly memorable evening for everyone who attended. We were particularly impressed with how seamlessly everything was organized, allowing us to relax and enjoy the celebration without any worries. I'm not sure where to start, no parking, average food, and terrible sound quality and volume in the auditorium.

La casa resturant:- Very minimal menu and then when ordered an item, it was sold out. Restaurant staff not friendly at all. Old man needs to retire he was far from hospitable. Slow service on a Sunday night, especially when there were only 2 tables in the restaurant. Food was nice, but very simple.

We enjoyed the adult meals well enough however the children’s meals were overpriced and not very nice both in appearance and taste.

For a newish renovation this place is lacking in good food unfortunately very old school RSL. These a local council car park not the best of older people about 1 block away. The reception staff are very clueless in regards to any of the events happening or anything going on in the club itself seeing it's not very big seems like something that came be easy to learn

The food was below average as the kitchen was clearly cutting all the corners, and the service was understaffed (not the staffs fault but management). Overall, meh.

I want to thank Carmel and her staff of La Casa for the wonderful job you did for my daughters 30th birthday. We had stand up tapas style food that was absolutely delicious to say the least. Carmel you are a professional hostess and go above and beyond for your customers. We had a wonderful night and experience in your beautiful venue and recommend anyone that wants to organise their functions to not hesitate to make a booking. ❤️❤️

My son went to Club Five Dock RSL for his accordion competition. He came first place in all his 6 groups. Alvin Xiao is the best in Australia in the 12 years and under in playing the accordion

The food is always good here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. A special mention to Gilbert!! You are my fave!!! La Casa, upstairs, is also a great place to be on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Staff are really friendly. Bistro food contained a decent selection and prices are decent. Very family friendly place to bring the kids to. Little play area is nice but you do need to supervise as other bigger kids tend to not be so mindful of the smaller kids playing in the vicinity. Parents room are well maintained also.

We had an awesome time at Club Five Dock at their Reception Room. Marisa & her team did a fabulous job with the meals, drinks & decor and the evening flowed faultlessly. Big shout out to CEO David Conway & Director Peter Howard for providing a venue with such high standards .... a Club to be proud of!!!

Food was not up to scratch, should have just went to a pub or across the road. No wonder the place was empty.

My recent experience at this club was deeply disappointing. Despite being a loyal customer, I was denied entry without explanation and treated disrespectfully by the manager, Dean. I felt discriminated against and humiliated. Until issues of discrimination are addressed, I cannot recommend this establishment.

Today, on Friday, April 19th, my friends and I had a disappointing experience at Five Dock RSL. Around 8:45 p.m., we arrived excited to have dinner together, but were met with a perplexing situation. One of our friends was denied entry to the establishment because, according to the manager named Dean, her membership had been cancelled without any valid explanation. Despite our gratitude for not having placed our food orders yet, the lack of transparency and professionalism displayed by Dean left much to be desired.

It is with great disappointment that I must convey my recent experience at this establishment. Despite being a loyal patron who frequents the club primarily for dinner, I was subjected to unwarranted mistreatment and disrespect by the management and staff. Upon arrival with my guests, we were inexplicably denied entry without any semblance of explanation or rationale. Despite our efforts to seek clarification from the manager, Dean, we were met with hostility and insolence. Instead of attempting to address the situation with professionalism and courtesy, Dean resorted to derogatory remarks and promptly ejected us from the premises. As a customer who has consistently upheld the standards of conduct expected within the establishment, I am deeply offended by the unjust treatment we received. Such conduct reflects poorly on the club’s reputation and raises serious concerns about its management’s competence and commitment to customer satisfaction. In light of this egregious incident, I would caution prospective patrons to reconsider patronising this establishment until such time as these issues are rectified and assurances of respectful and equitable treatment for all patrons are provided.

Always a warm, safe and friendly place.

We had a family birthday party there today with12 guests. Everyone enjoyed there meals except my husband & I who ordered the “roast of the day” which was pork. Paid $26 ea, the pork was so dry & tough we couldn’t eat it. Probably won’t go back 😕

Friendly place

I blacklisted this place for a long time. Their food always used to let them down - overcooked, lack of flavour and underwhelming.That was disappointing as they have a wonderful kids area for the kids to play in plus Club Five Dock is only a short walk away. As a last resort we went for dinner there last week. I tried to convince hubby to go elsewhere but alas, I lost the battle. I'm so happy to see they have stepped up their game... A LOT! The dumplings we ordered for entree were nice. The $10 steak was really good. Honestly, the steak surprised the heck out of me as previously (years ago) I ordered rare and steak came out overcooked with no sauce. For a fussy steak eater this was a travesty. Well done Club Five Dock... keep it up! Big improvement. We'll now happily return.

We've always enjoyed coming here for a casual dinner at the bistro.The food is good and service is quick and friendly. Until tonight when we took our granddaughter with us and after ordering a number of dishes I ordered a children's meal and the gentleman taking my order asked me if I really had a child with me and continued to doubt me when I said yes we do. Really" he said! He then came and checked she was there. Wow! Rude! Why would I lie just to eat a kids meal when I had ordered plenty of food for my husband and I. No apology was offered for his offensive behaviour."

Always friendly bar staff with great priced drinks and quality food. Great raffle prizes. Some fruit flies around which can get annoying but overall a positive experience whenever I visit.

Had our daughter’s birthday in the new function room which flowed into the outside area at La Casa on Level 1. The venue was perfect and Carmel and the team were amazing. The guests raved about the food and the staff were wonderful. From booking the event until pack up, staff were so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend venue and will be back there for dinner.

I highly recommend La Casa at Level One of Five Dock RSL, their customer service is second to none. Carmel and her team exceeded my expectations and I was completely impressed with their service and professionalism. I celebrated my 50th Birthday at La Casa and couldn't fault anything that the team provided. All of my guests were taken care of and they did everything to make my night a wonderful celebration. This venue you will entrust thoroughly for all your celebratory occasions.

Great customer service and proactiveness in communication

Hi have been a few times now and must say the rooftop eatery La Casa is a great place to meet up with friends for a meal or a drink. They also have 2 good sized rooms for functions and events. Go talk to Carmel about your next event she's very easy to deal with.

Love the new La Casa vibe at Five Dock RSL. It’s a hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of the main club area. Great food, beautiful set up and friendly welcome from Carmel, Frank and the rest of the team. Definitely check it out.

Nice Club in the inner west newly renovated and with a classy venue upstairs called La Casa. Perfect venue for a party. What a great atmosphere to have a meal and drinks on a Friday or Saturday night or to kick back on a Sunday afternoon. Live music, cocktails and the food is excellent. Menu has something for everyone my faves are the Calamari Fritti and the Lime Fish Tacos then again so are the Sliders and Mamma’s Meatballs. It’s an Oasis in the Burbs, worth a visit, you will love the vibe.

Since the renovations, this club has really exceeded all expectations! Especially La Casa on Level 1 - It has such an amazing atmosphere, the food is delicious and it feels great to have a drink upstairs in the terrace area. Wonderful customer service, too!

Be still my beating heart! After being a somewhat obsessed fan of Carmel’s previous restaurant La Casa, I’ve been waiting with bated breath to visit her new endeavour The Club at Five Dock. Being a Melbournite I’m a little biased when it comes to Italian food because let’s face it we are spoilt for choice but after visiting The Club I have to say that it is THE PLACE. The decor is elegant yet cosy. The service staff are prompt, joyful and knowledgeable. The Margherita cocktails that I had (yes plural!!) were some of the best I’ve ever had and would go back just for them. My partner had a few espresso martinis and by the dreamy look on his I’d say he’ll be back to have more. Then the star of the show…the food. We had garlic prawns and Carmel’s famous meatballs!! Oh Em Gee…just gobsmackingly delicious. They will be the stuff dreams are made of. As always Carmel’s hospitality made us feel like we were sharing a meal with family. I wish I could give our experience more than 5 stars. People, I highly recommend you make a booking now! I hope you get to experience some of the best drinks and food Sydney has to offer. Did I tell you I was a Melbournite?

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at La Casa level 1. We pretty much devoured the entire menu! And lucky for me I wasn't driving and had endless cocktails that reminded me of the islands! Thanks to Carmel for making that night extra special for us and giving us an epic spot by the fire. Cheers.

We came for lunch on Sunday and ate at Level 1 in La Casa, they have live chilled music on Sundays, we couldn't believe how great the wine bar looked, couldn't believe we were in Five Dock. Will definately be back. We were a group of 8 and had many cocktails and a variety of food and it was faultless. It was great to see local personality Carmel there who is always so warm and hospitable. We will be back.

We dined at La Casa Level 1. This rooftop bar/restaurant makes you feel like you’re by the beach or somewhere completely out of Five Dock! My girlfriends and I have been here countless of times & each time they do not disappoint! The quality of the food is simply outstanding. My personal favs are the meatballs, fish tacos, arancini & calamari. The owner Carmel was really friendly, attentive & patient with all of us! (We aren’t the easiest bunch of girls) Cocktails aren’t too bad too :p

We recently had our daughters wedding upstairs in the function room.....Marissa and her team did a fantastic job nothing was a problem...the bar staff were great during the night and the catering staff also were excellent....Marissa was there all evening making sure that everything ran smoothly.....
