A real step back in time. A beautiful home converted into a quaint B&B. Spacious, well presented rooms, fragrant garden and simple breakfast. Upper floors may not notice the odd squeaky floorboard, but faulting Clydesdale Manor is hard to do. A simple continental breakfast is a great way to get you going and check in/out is a breeze.

Wow, what a stunning place to stay. Absolutely everything about this manor was perfect, rooms were very spacious and bed was comfy, spa bath in ours was amazing. Had everything there in the rooms and the rest of the house you could ever ask for. Continental breakie in the mornings was perfect, with top quality food and drinks. So close to the main part of town, under $10 for an Uber, cheaper than the parking in town. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants a romantic getaway.

Exquisite place! Never stayed in a manor before, I'm glad I did!

Very relaxing and quiet property despite having several other guests. Self check in was very easy and the garden and patio outside our door is lovely. We have the Garden Spa with Terrace. Room 4 at the back of the property. Room and bathroom are smaller than they look on the internet but fine for a night. Basic TV and cupboard for tea/coffee. There is a small lounge area in the house for guest use with port and chocolates which is lovely but would not be large enough for all guests at the same time.|Kitchen is well equipped and available to guests to use. There is complimentary light breakfast for self serve which seems quite adequate in the dining room. Overall this is a lovely property and well worth the $173 we paid for the night.

When booking I tried contacting the Clydesdale Manor - but there is no way to telephone them directly and their website is not very specific about room features. I spoke to someone in a booking service (which was the phone number listed on their website). The person I spoke to did not know anything about the rooms but assured me all the rooms had opening windows. When I arrived the room I was given had no opening windows so I couldn't get any fresh air (in Hobart this is crazy). There was no one on-site after hours and when I sent a message to the manager (emergency contact), I got no response. This is really bad service for a room costing over $200 per night. Otherwise room was good.

The Clydesdale Manor was the perfect accommodation for us while spending the last few days of our holiday in Hobart. Linda, the housekeeper there was so welcoming, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for the perfect stay.

Robert, the site manager and Linda were both very approachable and helpful. We stayed two at this glorious b & b. Room 6 was spacious and had a modern bathroom. Breakfast was self serve with a large variety. Ample parking with an English style garden. If in Hobart, this is where we will be staying.

My well maintained room, Room 6, had all I needed for a comfortable 4 night stay. The included self-serve breakfast was most welcomed in the sunroom overlooking the rear garden which receives the morning sun. The friendly, approachable on-site staff were most helpful in making your stay a pleasant one in the historical Manor house.

A really comfortable stay, with the room we had being huge. Linda was exceptionally friendly and eager to please. The free breakfast was an added bonus. Given the buildings age, we could hear people moving about in the hallway, however being such a boutique size, it was never really a problem. We’d definitely stay again on our next trip.

Overall a well maintained and presented establishment. Beautiful gardens, easy parking (on first attempt you may mis the driveway in off the main road pending traffic), the best continental breakfast around with cereal, milks, serious sourdough, yoghurts, fruit salad, teas and coffee. The port at the end of the day with a chocolate is an enjoyable touch.||Comfy rooms and amenities. If you don't mind a walk (15 minutes) to stretch the legs, easy access to the pier area and Salamanca markets.

Loved this place. The rooms were immaculate, staff friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was lovely with lots of selections. Very centrally located, close to the city and within walking distance to the casino.

This is an old mansion converted to hotel rooms. Room was large. Wish the bathroom door would close fully (mentioned to overseer and hopefully will be fixed). Very nice continental breakfast but expect to have to make your own coffee and get things from the frig. No staff all the time so need to arrange for entry ahead of time; management should send you an email and text message (Americans can not generally get a text message on their American phones in Australia). Good 20+ minute walk to major sites but that was not an issue for us.

Awesome little place Great location 15min walk too Salamanca area… Great suite we had ( N°4 ) ground floor with great bathroom and bed. Lovely old house and continental breakfast. Recommend it 👍

Just finished four nights at this amazing small hotel. It's been like a home away from home. A beautiful room (king bed and ensuite), great self serve breakfast, access to the kitchen any time, beautiful garden, and most of all wonderful staff. The housekeeper Linda is a superstar! Well located, just a stroll to a great range of restaurants, and a bit further to Salamanca. Highly recommend Clydesdale Manor.

This place deserves 6 stars! A wonderful, quiet manor house, beautiful rooms, plenty of self service continental breakfast, and really wonderful staff. Close to a great range of restaurants, and a nice stroll to Battery Point and on the to waterfront. Can't recommend this place enough.

I find it hard to find a fault about the place. Extremely clean. Comfortable. Convenient quiet . No children around. Well priced. Good generous continental breakfast in a sunny warm room a great start to the day

Beautifully maintained and appointed BnB Manor. Easily located within walking distance of Sandy Bay shopping district with a great variety of restaurants and cafés, groceries and all resources. |The rooms are spacious with a beautiful four poster bed and very comfortable mattress. A clean and equipped ensuite, ensures privacy. |A continental breakfast is provided with variety to suit every taste. The breakfast room overlooks the cottage garden and was warm & cosy. A fully stocked kitchen is available if you want to fend for yourself. |A relaxing lounge area provides a quiet place to escape or relax, with a complimentary port should you wish to partake. |Parking on site makes the transition to your room easy. |A wonderful stay, close to everything, and an easy drive to so many of Tasmania’s attractions & tours. |Great communication from our host, ensured we wanted for nothing.|We felt like the Lord and Lady of the ‘Manor’. Highly recommended.

Cozy and tidy room, a lovely manor also have free self service continental breakfast, easy to check in.

A characteri filled manor close to Hobart CBD and surrounding areas. Plenty of parking, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, basic but satisfying breakfast. Overall well appointed.

The accommodation was amazing! Everything was clean and well organised. The location was perfect just 10 min by walk to the city centre. Staff was nice and gently, we received all the information before arriving. Breakfast was good! I loved it!

We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely adored the place. All the rooms were stunning. The lounge and dining rooms were a wonderful surprise and breakfast was nice.The gardens were beautiful. Great location close to lots of restaurants and near the water. Will definitely stay here again.

Everything about this Manor is stunning. Its honestly amazing vale for $. (So private and quaint!) I honestly wouldn't recommend anywhere else if staying in Hobart.

Nice accommodation, the lack of reception/front desk is odd but works - best if you give a phone number when booking to allow the hotelier to text you information. Access from the rear is also unusual and doesn't look attached to the place

Lovely quaint accomodation in walking distance to nice pub, cafe etc and a short drive to Hobart City. Breakfast was included and very good.

Angenehmes Zimmer in Sandy Bay ( Vorort von Hobart ), nahe genug, um samstags zum Salamanca Markt zu laufen. Gute Betreuung, reichliches Frühstück. Sandy Bay bietet zudem einiges an Kulinarik. Eine gute Wahl, um dem Gewusel von Hobart zu entkommen.

Upmarket B&B in excellent location with supermarkets, restaurants and cafes in easy walking distance. Private, quiet rooms with plenty of space. Simple but fulfilling breakfast included. Great alternative to staying in the CBD.

Nice house, room was clean but we did not see the hostess on arrival, when we went down for breakfast, which was ordinary, there was no welcome and she didn't introduce herself. Servicing the room meant making the bed only, necessities such as shampoo, tissues were not replenished, towels weren't replaced. We stay at a B&B for the friendly, personal service, we probably would've had a better stay at a hotel.
