No XXXX ON TAP!

I want to start by saying this hotel has the best schnitzel in the world. However the other day after a hard day's work I called in for an ice cold XXXX - No XXXX on tap - what are we not in Qld? Also the barmaid hadn't heard of it????? She didn't know what XXXX is? Not everyone wants a boutique ale as a thirst quenching drink (@ $14.50). Can buy a carton for around 3 drinks.

Thought we found our new local. Been going for about 3 mths after being unhappy with the RSL meals. First few times were great, the we noticed a real decline in the service. Food still good though, so kept going back. Got take away on father's day, service was really frigging rude. I have had rude servicd in tthe past, we all have, bjt this place, WOW!! NEXT LEVEL! 3 out of the 6 meals were undercooked, one was raw. We contacted via email. The response we got was pretty much like the service received. No accountable and didnt even care, ended the email with 'we hope it won't effect you coming back, but we understand'. I always try and find the good in a place and base my reveiw off that. Based on the service and attitude of some staff (not all), we will be spending our money elsewhere and will not be going back. They do put on a good feed, but weighing that up against our last experience, I would recommend driving right on past this place. So disappointed in this place!

So the pub is set in an industrial area, catering mostly to the working logistics Warehouse kind of crowd.

Can’t not doubt this pub at all Held a 21st birthday there an was amazing service all round function room was being used for the ufc so they put us on top deck too our selves “ private function “ Food it’s the best we have tried every meal off menu and can’t fault one Amazing staff super friendly helpful and food came out super quick for the amount of people they had there today ! Nice little family run pub with different specials, e.g. $25 beef and reef on Saturdays. The chips are good.

Great place to catch up with friends to have a drink and something eat because the food is good too. Don't worry if you can't get through your meal you can take your leftovers with you and it is dog friendly. It's great to pop in after a morning on the beach.

Currumbin Creek Tavern is a great place for few beverages and lunch or dinner... Nice sitting out the front.

Attended here for lunch without any expectations as it was the closest we could find to us after being at Currumbin rock pools (not locals). It did not disappoint. Great food. Highly recommend the spicy chick burger - absolutely delicious. Husband had the original burger which he said was great. Fussy kids also loved their kids cheese burgers, said they were the best they have had. Service great. Only complaint was that the smoke from the smokers area (there were many in there) blows straight through the open main door and into the eating area, and also smokes out the outdoor eating area making it unusable for non smokers/families etc.

Partner just took family there as closest to accommodation staff where awesome friendly and helpful limited menu but all more than happy with there meals. Pinot Noir very nice. Thanks Currumbin Hotel.

Basic pub (these days hard to find) with decent food and friendly service

Had a great lunch here with friends. Huge portions and delicious. Gina was awesome. Very friendly, helpful and attentive. Couldn't have asked for better service .

Impressed with Gina who was by herself and run ragged but kept a smile and was very pleasant. She is a star! The food was delicious, we were quite impressed

Pub has great food however I was served by a younger brunette lady who was extremely rude and impersonal, served me by saying ‘what do ya want’. Definitely not a good look for the hotel.

Once known as a creepy pub , me and my friends decided to give a go. It was better then recently we decided to go again, and the vibe was really uncomfortable as a young female I wouldn’t recommend going here

Staff are always so friendly and welcoming. All the girls on the bar are amazing in friendly. Today my daughter had an accident so I asked for a mop. Instead of being irritated a staff member named Lola brought a cup of lollies for my child with the mop to lessen the embarrassment. I was extremely impressed with her thoughtfulness and was extremely well received by my very embarrassed child. I was always impressed with staff here but I’m very impresseD today. Thankyou !!!

Dog friendly which is wonderful.

Ordered lunch of battered barrumundi with salad and chips for $16, absolutely beautiful, very large portion couldnt finish it. Staff were very friendly especially the young lady that served us, she was very efficient, happy and excellent at her job. Will deffinately go again.

The staff are so rude, I have never come across a collective group of people so ready to attack their own customers. Truly a shame as it was such a nice place back in the day.

We went to a function at the Tavern, I’d never been before and I’m not one to usually write reviews but these guys deserve all the stars. The staff in particular were outstanding. Unbelievably accommodating, friendly, happy and just lovely. The food was exceptional, the kids said they were the best burgers they’d ever eaten. A massive thanks to the amazing ladies who had the “can do” attitude with a smile on their faces. I’ve not received customer service on this level in quite some time, if ever. So impressed, I’ll be booking a function here for later in the year. Thanks a bunch guys 👏🏽

Down the Gold Coast from Brisbane for the day with husband and dog. Had a lovely morning until we got to the CURRUMBIN HOTEL. Display of extreme bad manners - POOR FORM!!’ By the Staff person appearing to have authority who shouted to us over customers at tables from the deck to below where we were sitting and had previously described reason being as we arrived with our DOG and had asked the bar person if it was ok for us to order food and drink/beer at this location and was giving a YES and then served. TIP CURRUMBIN HOTEL Talk with customers at their table NOT over other customers tables especially in the fashion displayed today. ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL!!!
