Amazing food!! Great team!!

Food wasn’t very up to my taste buds. Eye fillet was overcooked and burnt on the outside

Lunch time on Thursday. Meals took ages, more than 30 minutes, to come out and when we asked about them, the 4 meals came out all together. Assuming they had been sitting waiting to be served. Chips were cold, waigu burger was dry and not hot. We need a new a new lunch venue.

We went twice in our week long stay in Adelaide and the brunette guy that served us (didn’t get his name unfortunately!) was absolutely amazing, he really looked after us both times we came. The food was well priced and everything we tasted was really great, including the chef specials. Couldn’t fault anything :)

In my opinion, five stars alone do not do justice to The Maid. Not only are the staff always friendly, and quickly note your regularity, but the different meal deals they do take what is a great menu and make it unbelievably amazing. Case in point is their special steak deal currently running on Thursdays. Not only an amazing steak but also a very very very drinkable red wine for an unbelievable price. I come here as many Thursdays as I can, I bring my colleagues with me, and this is our local, even though it is a little drive from where we are based. I know this sounds over the top, this whole review, but I kid you not, this is as close as we get to the spirit of a generous community pub that some of us hold dear in our psyche. Thank you to the head chef, Juliana, and all the management and staff, for keeping this venue within budget and within the realms of warmth and authenticity that only can be achieved when there are good people behind-the-scenes. I’m now going to finish the last of my red wine in honour to everybody here.

Had a study club dinner with speaker here. Good service, reasonable meal at a good price. Room was private but a bit drafty

Went for dumpling degustation on Wednesday night Momoda. Booked in advance as it was busy. Were sat and served immediately. You get a lot of delicious food for $39pp plus drinks 🍸. Dumplings came out in four courses and were each very yummy. Especially the wagu dumplings. Service was excellent, and everything came out quickly.

Ordered beef schnitzel and chips the schnitzel was quite nice the chips were inedible covered in black spots looked like a chicken had done it's business all over them use to be a good quality meal but not anymore that's three bad meals in a row now would probably avoid if you are in the area plenty of better meals in the area it's a disgrace. as the photos show every single chip left over had a black spot on it some of them quite large disgusting. $28 for a small beef schnitzel and ten chips absolute disgrace

Would have given a better rating had it not been for the note left on vehicle saying my rego has been recorded in case I wasn't a patron. Not a good PR look. Won't be back in a hurry.

Nice pub style atmosphere

Very nice pub, great food and good specials. Have been again recently in 2020 and loved it.

Tried the Momosa restaurant for lunch. Food was outstanding. Good choices. Waitress was a little unknowledgable about the specials and advising us what we should order. She should have suggested getting a few plates with accompliments to share. We did order badly.

Brilliant venue for my daughters 21st birthday party. The room and atmosphere was perfect, the food and service was excellent. The staff were really helpful in planning everything in the lead up. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Great staff, excellent food

This pub is a hidden gem, deserving a five-star rating. It boasts a cozy ambiance, an extensive drink selection, and outstanding food. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly, making every visit memorable. Live music nights add to the charm. The only minor flaw might be occasional busyness, but it's a must-visit for a fantastic night out.

Great foods

After a slight hiccup with the booking we were assured a table. We had booked for the fusion experience and they had misplaced our booking but that's were it ended. Our food and service was divine and professional, we were lucky enough to have the Chef come to our table and explain the menu. We have told everyone that will listen how good is The Maid Hotel. We will return. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Food in the new Momoda Restaurant was very nice, Service was good but the atmosphere sitting at high tables on stools with no back support was not so good.

Very nice settings, very helpful staff, and delicious dinners. My wife ordered a crumb chicken meal, yumy very tasty( I ate half...🥲) I ordered a steak , cooked to perfection....👌 I ate everything, every chip.

We booked the upstairs function room for a 21st birthday celebration. There was plenty of off-street parking available. The upstairs function room was perfect for 30 - 40 people and can be setup to meet personal requirements. There is a large balcony area with cafe blinds and heaters so even in cooler weather it is useful. The function room is clean, well maintained and also has its own bar, toilets and storage area. There are two large screen TVs which can be used for presentations as well as a sound system and PA microphone/ speaker. The staff are very help and are keen to assist with specific requests. The barman was extremely professional, accommodating and eager to make arrangements to make the evening flow smoothly. There was a good variety of quality food available.

Convenient, lots of parking, friendly staff, food average, (we had the scotch fillet meal deal) all in all a reasonable experience maybe better items on menu

Great chicken snitz

A lot has changed since my original review. Though I'll say enter at your own risk and purchase at your own risk. I wouldn't eat there if you were paying. I wouldn't waste my time going there myself and warn others that I'd advise against chosing to go there, but ultimately it's your life and your call.

Great venue, separate areas for functions. The car parking is atrocious, very little room for vehicles. You can get in the car space but good luck getting out of your vehicle.

They are keeping it basic. Very simple menu which allows them to keep the prices reasonable. Decor and ambience good. I'd go here again.

I had my 30th birthday function in one of the Maid’s function rooms. I had a great experience in the lead up with the events coordinator who was very responsive, accomodating and reliable. nothing was too much trouble and the event was very personalised to my needs. This also meant that on the night of the event everything went smoothly and I knew I could rely on the staff. The food was also delicious and myself and the guests had the best time! Thanks to Alysa and the team 😊

It had been over 20 years since my last vist, the pub has had a huge change since 1999, the atmosphere is good, the staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, food as ordered, decent serving, hot and fresh, very tasty meals.

Oh my...this place is a gem..great reasonably priced meals with out of this world customer service. And in no small way is due to the excellent supervion of the manager, Kylie.

They make a very nice Margarita here. The Salmon Pie special is gorgeous too; they serve the pie with a very generous & yummy serving of mashed potato & mixed greens (beans, sno peas & broccolini). Very happy customer

I had a little trouble finding this but eventually got there to meet up with friends.

Nice venue, friendly staff. An old building nicely renovated but the acoustics are shocking. Meals are nicely priced. Lots of parking. I do like the place and they have daily specials...... :)

Great pub, Stone and Wood is on tap and cold, only improvement would be making Stone and Wood permanent beer of the month.

Average, its ok. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. SnP Squid was tender but was like biting into an oil drenched sponge with no squid taste. Same with the battered fish. (Plated without resting) Wouldnt order again. The southern fried burger was nice. Wasnt overly impressed with the menu range though. Probably wouldn't return in a hurry or reccomend to friends...sorry...

Went there once. Very old building. Lack of indoor seating. Outdoor area a bit slap dash. In need of some huge renovations. Sorry but just being honest.

Dogs allowed in the beer garden! Super friendly staff, they even bought out an iced water bowl for our two pooches. The food was incredible, great atmosphere!!! Amazing place 👏 - thank you!

One of the best hotel experiences I have had for a long time. It was Boxing Day and for most of the time our group were the only ones there. The service, food, ambiance was faultless.
