Good place for a breakky when we out for motorcycle ride

Stunning views of the Gold Coast. Prices were a bit expensive. Service was ok but not really welcoming.

Great view on the mountain top. Outdoor setting is very nice. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Adult meals were nice. Kids steak meals were tough and well done (no option for medium-rare). Kids enjoyed the giant Jenga blocks in the games room.

Perfect place for family gatherings. Individual rooms, close together on the ground floor, opening onto a communal expanse of lawn. Fabulous views. Hotel with dining in or room service.

The room was clean and tidy, spacious with a balcony that had a view to the gold coast, and our room had a spa bath. It is difficult to say something about the service because there wasn't anyone at reception when we arrived. The place is convenient because the restaurant is part of the hotel and was a good place to pass through before continuing travelling.

One of the best not so secret spots on the Gold Coast. Have been going to eagle heights hotel for 10 years now. On a good day you can see all the Gold Coast from the beer garden. Grab a drink sit back look at the amazing views and if your lucky you will get to see the helicopters that land right in the garden. If you want to stay their the rooms are amazing. Has pool tables aswell which is always good.

This venue has so much potential but as like many of the businesses on Tamborine Mountain it caters for tourist and for this reason puts little to no effort into return business. Food wasn't bad but way overpriced. Staff were very average apart from one young kid (maybe working thru school holidays) who was very polite and efficient.. Will be back for drinks and the view only.

Our local Pub been coming for years, never been charged before for a child’s size soda water from the post mix, barmaid wanted to charge me $4. Considering we send $150 plus for the 2 of us each visit ( at least once a fortnight) thought it was pretty rude

We travelled fom G C… and looked on the website.. it clearly said lunch until 2.30 Walked in and the girl said “ have u guys just walked in?” I said “yes “ Her response was “I’m sorry the kitchen closed at 2pm today” Best you update the time that lunch is open until so u don’t have anymore dissatisfied patrons

I would rate this a 10/10. Several reasons. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. All rooms faced east with access via a sliding door. What awaited was a spectacular view of the Gold Coast and Tweed Heads. As we went over Xmas, the staff left us breakfast for the 2 days they were closed 25 & 26 Dec as well to compensate provided us 2 breakfast vouchers to use over the weekend. Highly recommend the stay. ||Just to add, staff super friendly and helpful.

Spectacular location! Ideal for tourists and for locals to enjoy where they live. Meals are average pub style, service is good though. Also good to know they are open for breakfast, if you want to enjoy the views without the crowds.

Lack of communication by staff. Concerning procedures surrounding credit card retention and holding deposit being debited from my account. When raised with them direct, I was given a standardised response. I explained to them I had no issue with a holding deposit being taken but the lack of communication and then having to contact them 3 days after our stay to get this refunded which they then had to take my card details over the phone and I was told they normally wrote down the details on check in was shocking. After trying to explain again the concerns I had i got a smart arse response dismissing my feedback and concerns whist attempting to make up excuses for why their procedures aren't always used. Pub is good, views are good but the motel side is subpar, don't recommend staying.

Great food! Get the ribs..you won't be disappointed. Enough to feed two in my opinion a very large serve and so it should be for $50 but we'll worth it

Great venue for food, drink and accommodation. Definitely book! Definitely drop in for a beer overlooking the Goldie. Great staff. The steak was the best I’ve ever tasted. Do yourself a favour today..I’d go back again for another stay close to Montville etc

We have just had our wedding here on 9/11/2024. I cannot speak highly enough of Kiara and her team who from first contact has been completely brilliant. They were across absolutely everything even stuff I had forgotten. The rooms were great and the function room was awesome. The price for what you actually get is unbeatable. I still have the guest texting me about how great the food and venue were. Thank you so much Kiara I wish I wish I had of taken a phot with you to share, you are the reason the day was perfect. Thank you from the bottom of Scott & my heart, you are a true asset to the hotel. Strongly recommend this place for everything.

Fantastic location providing panoramic views of the Gold Coast and hinterlands. Accommodation is clean, comfortable, spacious and appropriately provisioned. Bar, reception and restaurant staff were friendly and obliging. The service 2-star rating is a reflection of the response to a power outage. In general staff rated 4.5 stars. I can recommend the hickory smoked pork ribs and the house speciality burgers. A power outage on the Saturday evening exposed some shortfalls in managerial preparedness to address this not infrequent occurrence on the mountain. A senior staff member suggested a packet of potato chips as an evening meal alternative. Some time after the blackout began staff provided each motel room with 3 tea-light candles - no additional ignition source- and a caution that toilets may only have 1 flush. We were advised that staff would shortly return with water to flush toilets, however this did not happen. We were advised that a generator at the hotel could not be started by staff. Surely, with the accumulated experience of weather events on the mountain a rechargeable or magneto style torch should be installed in each room as a preferred alternative to a naked flame in a wind storm. Regular operational/maintenance checks of the generator and comprehensive (all) staff training in its use would benefit the business and guests. Still a pleasant get away with friends. Notwithstanding, the business acted professionally in providing all affected guests with a compensatory 1 night free stay voucher to be used within 1 year.

Two pints of beer and a packet of chips $42! Nice view but way overpriced now.. Hopefully the tourist dollars are rolling in as being a local I won't be back.

Amazing location, although very run down and old looking. Could do with a decent landscaper to clean the place up. Staff were quite obnoxious.

Worth a visit for the views!

Super impressed with this venue. We celebrated our son's 18th birthday with a lunch for our extended family. For our group of over 20 people we had 3 adjoining tables out on the lawn, and this made it easy to get around and mingle. The food was excellent, the portions generous, and the drinks quite reasonably priced. ALL of the staff were so friendly and helpful, and we could not have been happier with how things went. Thanks guys, we'll be back.

Me and the family booked a table with a view, the day before coming for lunch.. they didn’t book our table so we had to dine away from where we wished to. Gave me sparkling water rather then the lemonade I requested and payed for! Slow and rude service

Booked a table for the Saturday for a group of us. We all sat down & had afew beverages before wanting to order entrees. We were told they weren't ready for us at 12pm & to come back. We went back half an hour later & was told their ordering system was down & to come back again. 20mins later, were told they had no gas to cook anything. Very bad management when you know lots of people are coming for the weekend & you have no gas to cook. No apologies or anything. Our group ended up having a meal at 2:30pm at another venue down the mountain.

I have stayed here and eaten here. In desperate need of a re vamp. Especially the rooms and menu. Often find it funny you can have the best locations and not the goods. Menus is limited and not healthy. Rooms well $300 plus and it’s back I the 80s.

Long time passer byer first time patron. Location and view is epic. Venue needs to join the 21st century. 30+ minute wait to order food could be avoided with online barcode ordering. The fact I had to order an alcoholic drink to achieve a non cloudy apple juice, is a ridiculous rule. Can't give the kids alcohol... We all ordered palmies. Price was ok, quality was decent nothing special. Would I come back. Only if it was taking a friend or relative who wasn't from the area.

Can't order a steak with chips and salad... got told shef use to work at versace so he will not do a steak with chips and salad. It's a pub not 5 star dinning. It's Australia you should be able to get chips and salad with any main
