This venue NEVER disappoints - the food, service and staff are amazing - highly recommend the private dining room to host groups - it is perfect !

Good, modern pub. Food specials on most days that are available all day, not just dinner. Would be better if they offered lunchtime drink specials, not just happy hour before dinner service Monday to Friday. *Update: Food specials no longer available all day.

Decent place if you're local but $49 for a Parma and a pint is an actual abomination even in this climate. Mt Erica is a far superior venue by every metric, and you don't have to sit there staring at tacky TAB and Carlton Draught memorabilia.

The overall experience with the Toorak Hotel was excellent. The team on the night were friendly, efficient and everything went as planned. Everyone had a great night and we received many positive comments on the venue and food.

Good for a drink and easy to catch up with friends. Not as good on food which is relatively boring. Some common pub meals are good but anything else is out of their reach.

law firm is next to these guys and we love dropping by each day or week for a refreshing beverage or meals.

Had my 30th birthday in the cocktail bar, from booking the event to the event itself, the staff were absolutely amazing to deal with and went above and beyond to help make it a special night. Couldn't recommend them any more highly for your next event!

We love Sunday nights Roast Deal. It is such a great meal the entire family enjoys. Such a nice venue and the staff are friendly and attentive.

We had a 60th Surprise party in the function room and it was amazing. Staff were great and the food was awesome. We had 22 guests so decided to go with share plates and all the food was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend. From the moment we booked until the moment we left after the event, the staff couldnt have been more accomodating.

My wife and I decided to stop by the Toorak Hotel for lunch on a whim, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! We both ordered the Lunch Steak Special at $30 each, and it was absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the overall experience was fantastic. If you're craving a quality steak at lunchtime, this is definitely the place to go. We'll be back for sure! While the atmosphere was a little quiet for a Monday lunchtime, it didn’t detract from our enjoyment.

Just had the Poterhouse Steak with Pepper Sauce and my wife had the steak with cafe de Pairis butter… both sauces were spot on and the steak was nicely charred and suddenly inside. Very good! Great vibe!

One of the better quality pubs in Melbourne. Food is great, service is attentive and friendly. It's great for large group bookings too.

Do not go here. My meal was inedible. Had the roast which I am sure had been sitting in a warmer since lunchtime. Served swimming in gravel. Vegetables overcooked and tasteless and meat overcooked. The worst meal I have eaten and in fact I did not eat it. The fish one of my diners had was put on an entree sized plate badly presented. If you advertise a roast dinner at least cook it that night not hours prior. How this place keeps going is beyond me.

We celebrated my 60th birthday upstairs at the Toorak Hotel. It was like being at home without the effort. Friendly courteous staff, fabulous food, excellent wine, reasonably priced. Decor and table setting was beautiful. There had obviously been thorough planning and attention to detail applied. We loved it!

Had a great Sunday Roast Lunch with all the trimmings; roast beef, authentic Yorkshire Pudding ( I know I came from Yorkshire). Even managed some entrees of chips - and garlic pizza , really good. Desert also to die for. Generous serves, friendly and helpful service and not noisy in the dining room. Will make it a regular treat highly recommend.

Great local pub with excellent service and fantastic food

Have been going to Bush Inn for years, but hadn't been for a few year. We had a family birthday dinner of 15 in private room on Sunday night - brilliant night, footy on, fantastic service from the hotel team who couldn't do more for us and the food was great. It's new (old) fam fav.. Thanks to all.

The Toorak Hotel hosted my 60th Birthday Party in the newly renovated upstairs room with attention to detail, warm and very efficient service from staff. The room itself has a lovely inviting and relaxed feel to it which made the evening for this gathering a night to remember for all my family and friends. Well done Toorak, you excelled yourself.

Reserved an area for a large group of my friends for a night of celebrating, and everything from communication to make the booking to the service on the night to the drinks and food was exceptional. Everyone commented on what a perfect space it was for a large group, and had easy viewing of the footy. The food was also spectacular! Would definitely recommend!

Went along for the Sunday Roast and it did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious, and didn’t quite finish it. Having a Yorkshireman for a BIL I’d have to say it these were the best I’ve outside of the UK (& those my BIL makes!). Enjoyable afternoon, with the bar made toasty by the fire. Will definitely be going back.

Thank you to Jake at the team at Toorak Hotel for hosting my family gathering of 13 in the private dining room for my 50th (lights are from funny kids) birthday celebration. Everything was perfect from the starters (buffalo chicken a must) to ordering a la carte off the menu, the service team who had fun with us and a great room and perfect size. We had a 50 people lunch function at Toorak Hotel over the weekend and the service from Jake and his team was Amazing. We could not fault anything. The food was delicious and the servings very generous, everybody walked out with full and happy bellies. We will definitely use them again for our events.

I hosted my 40th birthday party at the Toorak Hotel on Saturday night. Best night of my life. The events people were so accommodating and we were looked after all night. I highly recommend having your party here too. Looks like my 45th will be hosted here as well!!!!

I'm a fan! Caught up with a mate on a Friday night and it was pretty busy, but did snaffle a table near the bar (prime realestate that!) My first interaction with the barman was a little dull but from then on the other staff were great! Engaging and curious to know how we were enjoying the night etc. (love when the staff care!) I will apologise for the bad photo's as I took them after I had a few - but I was enjoying my mates company and the night! As we were gas bagging - we almost missed ordering food (actually, the kitchen had just closed but they'd do a pizza for us- how lovely is that) and we went the Salsiccia Pizza - and it was bloody nice! I only went 4* for the atmosphere - as it looks a bit sterile - but if you have good food and service I think that should always be the priority! A rather good night all up! And what's a review without a Zippy Spam photo too 😁

This hotel has been renovated now, has new improved management and has been rebadged to the Toorak hotel from the old Bush Inn. The food is great, especially the lunch steak special and lots of happy hour deals if thats your thing, including the newly introduced Spinning Wheel for free to half price drinks on a Thursday afternoon - if somebody spins it successfully of course, and sensational bar snacks given out most Friday afternoons. Well worth the visit.

Watched the ANZAC game with a great bunch of people here. The staff were fantastic and efficient, know what they’re doing.. made ordering food and drinks easy. Highly recommend the hummus dip 👌🏼 Also every hour a wheel is spun and a deal is put to the patrons we got half price drinks and food…what a vibe!

Love the Toorak Hotel - it is fun, affordable and has great food. Happy Hour specials are spun on a wheel and I love the $20 pizzas on a Thursday night. It can be a bit loud when the footy is on, but if you sit on the slightly elevated section towards the back of the main area, it's minimised. Staff are friendly and treat you like a local.

Very friendly and efficient service, good size meals. Gnocchi was cooked with a perfect balance of flavours. Parma was exactly as you would hope and steaks were cooked to exact requests.

This pub complements its surroundings and the building's age with a clean and well-maintained style. The food was delightful, and the service stood out. Despite our late visit at the end of lunch service, they went the extra mile to accommodate a few more dishes, showcasing genuine care. Kudos to the chef, barman, and the team for their commendable efforts. Appreciate the hospitality on that Monday afternoon!

The pub looks a little tired but the service and food offering are as good as any. Cocktails are varied and mostly revolve around classics or twists on them. The spicy margarita is nice and, to my pleasant surprise, actually pretty spicy. The parma is a generous size for the price and pretty high quality. The prawn pizza was also good and great value at only $20 during their Thursday night pizza special.

Great service and the Wednesday steak special (Porterhouse) was cooked to perfection with a generous portion of salad and fries.

We were hoping to book the dining room for dinner with my elderly mother but it was closed so had to take a space in the bar . We tried to call to change our booking but there is no phone at the venue …..It was extremely noisy with multiple tv screens going with horse and grey hound racing and also the tennis . To add to the cacophony of noise a musician turned up too. Our request to move to a quieter part of the venue was declined The food was over salted and poorly presented will def not be eating in this part of the venue again.

Absolutely love the Toorak hotel! Their happy hour and weekly meal specials are amazing. We visit this place regularly and would highly recommend if you want a delicious meal or some drinks in a lovely venue. The staff are all super friendly as well, and the place has a lovely atmosphere.

Our workplace recently celebrated our Christmas party at this gorgeous venue in the Jackson room. The food was fantastic, function room was spacious and accommodating and the service received from Daniel, his bar & wait staff, along with Ella & Amy prior to and during the event was exceptional. Thank you to the Toorak Hotel for facilitating a great night for us all!

Formerly the Bush Inn, it has now been renovated/refurbished and reopened as Toorak Hotel. Good selection of pub grub and drinks on offer. Whilst the fish and chips was cooked well enough, the steak however was inconsistent - we wanted medium rare but what was served to us was well done in some parts and medium rare in some.

I recently had a fantastic experience hosting an event at Toorak Hotel. I hired the Jackson room which was clean, modern, spacious and very convenient with our own private bar and bathrooms. The staff were extremely accomodating in both the lead up to the event and on the day, making the process so seamless. We were also able to decorate the space as we wished and bring in our own entertainment. The food was an absolute stand out - We included a mix of canapés and more substantial food throughout the day, and had guests constantly raving about how amazing the food was, especially the pizzas! I couldn’t recommend this space more highly for an upcoming event.

Went to a private event upstairs. Food was magnificent! Service was fabulous- attentive staff. Highly recommended as a venue for private events.

Ok food, my Prawn Pasta was good , my wife's medium steak was bleeding rare. Too noisy for me

Delightful lunch. Pork Saltimbocca was tender and tasty, the veal snitzel was light and delicious. Loved the alcoholic ginger beers. Although not full, the bar area was somewhat noisy but still would recommend.

Delightful corner hotel with exceptional service. The cheeseburger extremely tasty and didn’t disappoint. The veal schnitzel was just ok but in saying that l would still come back and try other items on the menu. Ordered a stout but received a pale ale.. perfect mistake as the pale ale was a nicer drop and bonus l got to keep both. Bonus they have very clean toilets. (See photos)
