This so called hotel can only be described as AWFUL/HORRIBLE, should not even call it a hotel, would never recommend a stay there, loud n noisy especially when charged nearly $600 for 2 nights

Pad Thai and a pint of beer for $19...! Get in!

30 min waiting, or wasting time here, waiting for lunch. I do not recommend waiting 30 minutes for a simple lunch.

This classic heritage pub is a great place for a pub feed. Food is so fresh and DELICIOUS! Also so many vegetarian options in amongst the menu. Really good feed for one and all. The vibe is great and the staff are so lovely. It feels like going to your ‘home town’ in the City. Just down to earth and welcoming, with good large screen TV and pool table, plenty good dining area, outdoor courtyard, good old school bar, & FABULOUS FREE KARAOKE till midnight!!!! The Glasgow Arms is so centrally located as well. It’s located on Harris Street in Sydney’s Ultimo, basically right next to Darling Harbour and a stones throw from China Town. Excellent location for tourists, with accommodation as well. Very satisfying meal, great vibes~ OHHH- EXCELLENT PRICES AS WELL. Definitely coming back regularly! Highly recommend FIVE STARS

Great place to stay, food was excellent and friendly staff. Rooms have everything you need

I booked 6 nights to attend a conference at the ICC (which is 10-15 minutes walking): unfortunately they gave me the room on the corner, which was not soundproof. The hotel is on a very busy road (had no idea when booking, never been to Sydney before), so I struggled to sleep the whole time, even with earplugs. My request if another room was available was ignored (there is no reception). |The room was also very outdated and very basic, some broken stuff were not fixed (like the towel rail in the bathroom). Breakfast choice was very limited. At least it was fairly clean (hence 2 stars).

I recommend this place. Amazing service, very friendly and welcoming. There is a bar downstairs and at 8 they start karaoke, very entertaining and fun. I would only recommend checking the air conditioning because it is very noisy and does not blow much air. Everything else is perfect. They leave you some juice boxes in the fridge for breakfast, which is very welcome.

You get what you pay. It’s clean and location is good but very, very basic. Best suited for non-fussy travellers looking for a simple place to rest each night.

I stayed at this hotel last night, and the manager（maybe) was incredibly helpful and kind. When I arrived, I was a bit lost at the entrance, but the owner came out to assist me with check-in. After everything was arranged, I asked him how to get to ICC Sydney, and not only did he explain it to me, but he also personally walked me outside to point me in the right direction. He then escorted me to my room and showed me how to use the TV, even though I didn’t have time to use it in the end. He also let me know that breakfast was included in my room rate and showed me how to access the breakfast area and how to check out. The owner was extremely nice, and I felt very well taken care of. I wish them great success with their business!

The experience was good, not so quiet as it is above a bar. No elevator. And the breakfast was pretty basic. Some of the juices were even expired. Amazing location, but for the service I am partially disappointed.

Place sucks, wasn't at all what we were expecting. Looked much better online. Not a very professional setup. Absolutely no parking (don't bring a car). Hoping no one else gets caught either. Also, agoda sucks too

This place was not what it said it was in its writeup! The room was up a long steep set of stairs! (Very hard to get our luggage up there!). And it was above a bar! The room was not very nice! The room was not all that clean! (dusty). The bedsheets and towels were old and cheap! & very scratchy! The TV was plugged into a dangling power strip that had been stuck to the wall!, but had fallen off from it! The breakfast was self-serve outside our room for everyone!, and there wasn't much offered! And to top it off!, the last morning we were there they ran out of stuff! (We had hot tea & crunchy biscuit cookies!). I would most definitely not recommend staying at this place!, but if you decide to!, don't expect very much from this hotel! We were very disappointed obviously! Buyer beware!

Had a absolute blast here, was staying nearby and came past on the way home. Great location, has sport on. Had karaoke on the Friday. Staff were funny and efficient

Best pizza ever

The room is very basic, no cabinets or any hotel amenities but it is in the middle of the CBD and it has the facilities to get you clean and be on your way.

One of the must visit pubs for those not to shy away from public karaoke! Suzie and Tarny are always more than happy to arrange group bookings on very short notice. Johnno and the crew set epic speakers and microphones for everyone to jam away any song requests. Also as Summer has arrived early, it's definitely an ideal time to have some Pad Thai outdoors.

We stumbled across this rough diamond by accident. We ordered a burger and a chicken tenders and chips. Food was good and was ready fairly quickly and the team were all lovely and helpful 😊

Very clean,tidy friendly, helpful, happy staff. Bed comfortable, food delicious & cocktails beautiful and cheap. Road noise a bit loud but overall a good place to stay for a night or two 🙂

Freshly painted room with decent noise control, although you could hear the music blaring from the pub next door until midnight, but that was to be expected. Basic, bright, and an easy walk to the light rail. Very handy walk to China town. TV didn't work for Australian TV stations, not even radio stations, and there are no cable TV stations unless you have a subscription. They should make that more transparent. It is still being refurbed, but could do with more thorough cleaning in some areas - the black gunk on the shower glass was not nice. Breakfast is simply packets of cereal and cheap white bread with Coles juice and Lipton tea bags. It's cheap and does the job.

Near the city area but if you want to live quitely. it's not the place. Weekends downstairs pub is opened until 3am. Spacious room and clean too.

這趟旅程最糟的體驗，一間破舊的民宿不能稱為飯店，進房還得整個環境清潔一遍，陽台椅子佈滿灰塵，房內用塑膠椅子，烤麵包機破舊，家具老舊，鏡子也沒擦拭，托盤滿是灰塵，再寫下去好像住到一間廢墟的房間，千萬千萬不要相信評價星星。

Unfortunately I have to give 3 stars, place was clean, but little bit noisy and at general far from looking ok room. And at that time where we stay there, someone painted walls and smell from painting was actually very bad… I am prefer spending money out than pay for hotel room, but here you get what you pay for….But best things is very close to everything… that’s was our point

Good service, clean and cool rooms, good location which is why we picked it. Will be back if we need to be walking distance from darling harbour again!

Amazing service! We are form TAS and came to this pub on Sunday 10th of September. The man and young lady behind the bar went above and beyond to make our time here very enjoyable. The friendly service, well priced alcoholic beverages and laid back atmosphere made for some extremely pleasant hours of drinking. This pub would definitely be my local if I lived in Sydney. Thank you so much guys!

Absolutely stunning service, very kind and caring staff. Even though it was one of the staff’s second shift, she did an amazing job and had incredible service. The bar manager was amazing and he really made us feel at home. Being from Tasmania it reminded us of our local pub, a “country pub in the city” it sure was. Very relaxed and great vibe all around. We will be returning on our next trip to Sydney!

Great pub with loads of atmosphere 👌 Food was excellent with a choice from the Thai menu or the normal pub menu and very reasonably priced. Walking distance from Central Station and easy walk to Darling Harbour so very accessible. Highly recommend a visit 😀

Reviewing the pub, not accommodation. The manager of this establishment is rude and my family and I will not attend again. Although the trivia and bingo night and MC is excellent, the manager of the bar staff is lazy and rude to customers. It is on a busy main street so I can only assume accommodation would noisy and if manager also looks after rooms, they wouldn't be in a good condition since his own personal hygiene leaves a lot to be desired.

We visited the pub on a Friday night. Service was wonderful and the karaoke was fun! The drinks and meals were reasonably priced, although they were lacking vegetarian options. The menu only had a vegetarian pizza and nappoli pasta. Both the fish and chips and schnitzel were reportedly delicious, but sadly can't say my meal was. I noticed they offer many specials throughout the week - $8.90 roast and $4.90 schnitzel just to name a couple.

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent prices. Wonderful staff who are incredibly friendly and attentive. Nice classic slice of heaven in Sydney, and absolutely perfect across the board. Could not recommend this place enough if you're in the mood for a country pub taste hidden in Sydney. Food was prompt, hot, and delicious - as were the drinks. We ordered a double beef and bacon (tasty and juicy), a classic fish and chips (fresh and crispy) and a bangers and mash (tastes just like home, but better.) Overall experience was incredibly pleasant and absolutely perfect.
