Food was not too bad but there are many other better places to go in Melbourne!!!

We've been coming here for years but never actually tried their food, but wow they were really high quality. The steak was grilled to perfection and the home made pasta was full of flavour. And the staff were all very nice and accommodating. We will be coming here to eat more often

Service average .Not staff fault the venue needs to train your staff in table service . Also extremely loud not able to hear people speaking on your table . Also prices have gone up .And needs a new menu The management team need to sit down and up grade the facilities. This place has so much potential if the management was to look at the business going forward .

Never didappointed no matter how often I visit!

Veneto Club is a great venue, but the use of disposable coffee cups for patrons inside is both wasteful and concerning. While takeaway cups make sense for those grabbing a coffee to go, handing them out to people sitting at the venue—especially those spending hours at the slot machines—is completely unnecessary. From an environmental standpoint, these cups contribute significantly to landfill waste. Despite appearing to be paper, they contain a thin plastic lining that makes them difficult to recycle. Millions of these cups end up in landfills and waterways, breaking down into harmful microplastics that pollute the environment for generations. Even more troubling are the health risks. When hot, acidic coffee comes into contact with the plastic lining, it can leach endocrine-disrupting chemicals and microplastics into the drink. Regular exposure to these chemicals has been linked to hormone imbalances, metabolic disorders, and other serious health concerns. As slot machine players, we might not be directly paying for these coffees, but we are most certainly paying much more for them with the money we put through the machines. The least we should expect is a proper ceramic cup rather than a disposable one. It’s a simple, sensible change that would reduce waste, protect customers’ health, and enhance the overall experience at the venue. Until this policy changes, unfortunately, I’ll have to find another slot machine venue to play at.

About a month ago on a Saturday we had our workplace dinner in this place- their customer service was horrible. We went in there to have a nice dinner and a quality time with my work colleagues- The lady who was in charge (assume it’s a supervisor or a manager) was very rude not only to us but also for the other customers.When we asked the staff for this lady’s name to make a formal complaint about our experience they refuse to Inform us her name. The restaurant failed to cater for our dietary requirement which we have requested and confirmed a moth before our dinner (as we had two vegetarians and celiacs among our colleagues) Quality of their customer service was very poor/ unacceptable and their rudeness towards my colleagues was unprofessional - Would not recommend Veneto club to anyone at all

Fantastic food. Watched a couple of the chefs eating their dinner with their hands while cooking our food which was a real turn off. Will give it another chance though as the food was great.

Lovely venue, we had vegetarian gnocci and a parma, both were lovely, nice intimate setting. Only 1 vegetarian option in mains but was really nice. The parma was cooked superbly.

To think I live 5 minutes away and never been here, what a mistake. What INCREDIBLE Food. Beautiful Italian dishes, between the 8 of us we had like 12 items of food plus 6 lots of Gelato. EVERYONE said it was PERFECTION Food. My nieces from Sydney said the Bambini pasta was one of the best ever and the Gelato they raved better than Bondi fancy Gelato. On top of it EXCELLENT service from everyone like above and beyond friendly and proactive and accommodating. Whoever runs it definitely is focused on the customer. :)

So noisy we couldn't hear our own conversation. Food was average and service too slow. Not recommended.

Love this place

Dinner at the Bistro Friday 20th December with friends. Food is average. Not many gluten free options for those who are Coeliac. In today's world you would think that they would be able to offer more options. Unfortunately the Veneto club does not. My husband who is not Coeliac had veal saltibocca it was bland and not tender. I had to ask questions on just about all the menu and had limited choices. Please improve your understanding of allergies and offer those who are Coeliac more variety. Education is important.

Large venue, good wines food not cheap, average I guess , good parking, pokies, Friendly staff. I like it.

What an awful place to be for playing soccer. Everyone is extremely rude and you see discrimination everywhere in this club. You only need to be foreigner then they will be your enemy all day long. Rude stuff and disgusting behaviour.

Polenta 😋 the only club that has it on their menu. Pity about the open bistro area. It is poorly set out as a bistro area, too hectic.

My grandson played a couple off soccer games this is our 3rd generation soccer dad so grandson

Excellent in every category!! Including value for money. Can’t recommend highly enough. Even a Great little shop to buy genuine Italian cuisine to take home- along with wines and desserts.

Dissapointed. After booking so far in advance for the Artichocke lunch we were told once we sat down the bad news that there will not be any artichockes. The responsability of the club is to notify the members and non members the bad news. 👎 We should have the right to cancel.

Has been the go to place for a great meal for years and still maintains its high standard, including homemade meals, cheeses, & wine to take away. Highly recommended and still easy to get to, despite NE Link works!

Overpriced for basic pub food

Great food and atmosphere and the customer service team are always polite and outstanding. We're a regular here.

The visit to this club was related to my son's football game. But I really liked the atmosphere of the club, the beautiful internet restaurant. I will definitely come to this restaurant for dinner and be able to make a more detailed assessment.

This place is the spot when the focus is on the food. After all, you can't eat ambiance.

Good food but don't expect good service and fair treatment by the crew.

I was very impressed by the enthusiastic and attentive waiter. The food was also very nice and fresh. We had polenta with sausage in Napoli sauce which was so homely and delicious. Also had cacio Pepe arrancini balls which were so fresh and tasty. A great local spot

Great Italian club, we had the meatball pasta bake and was not disappointed, made with real Italian love, suspect there is a couple of grandma in the back making all the sauces and pasta. Also had a side of meatballs, mixed veg and potatoes. Bread was a $1 extra, but freshly made. Kids meal too looked delicious and the $3.50 come was a god send.

Very very good Italian food Calamari Fritti crisp and plentiful.. Vitello saltimbocca Very nice crispy and a nice sauce. Rigatoni Polpetti as my Cugine said Amazing Cozze Pescetore Very nice Deserts excellent

Best Italian food in Melbourne

It was the first time we didn’t spend Easter at home and the Veneto club didn’t disappoint. The wait staff were excellent, the food was delicious. Especially the risotto. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is before if you are going to serve prawns you have to clean. You need to provide finger bowls. That part was a little messy. Overall I think we will be back

It’s been a while since I was last at the Veneto club, but Easter bought the family together once again to a place we spent many sundays together . First off the service was impeccable, the wait staff always friendly and ready to help . The food was good , no one in our large family said any different. Look it’s not high end , but it’s hardy at a reasonable price . The venue was great , and while there were a few people there I could talk to many people on our table with out moving or shouting .. which is always a good thing . Overall a good experience
