Kim is excellent in the electrical department. I ordered a front loader but it was too hard for me to use due to arthritis so I had to go back to a top loader. He sorted it out that I could return the front loader. He is a very nice man, thanks Kim
We spoke to Madi in the furniture section today. Madi gave an excellent explanation of the home theatre chairs available, and all of the options. If you require any furniture, look Madi up, she will provide exceptional service. Nothing was too much trouble and Madi provided quotes for us. 10 out of 10, Madi. Thankyou!!

Good service
Delivery date was set for Tuesday, Delivery company was given wrong address by harvey norman and wouldn't redirect Delivery to correct address till next Tuesday. We took the day off to install the items and also organised a sparky to install others. They didn't care about our wasted time.
Bought a 2.5 person lounge chair,, that was on the 6th September. Yep, still waiting for delivery. Told 3 to 4 weeks . Best part of 8 weeks & still not a word. HOPELESS!!!!

Young Alex looked after us in Electronics. Nearly bought a good deal of a phone. Phone started working but he was ethical and made us feel relaxed with the prospective purchase.

I started off not having the best experience with a staff member in the Photo area however another staff member Alex came to take over and it was great! Alex is super professional, can't fault his Knowledge and Customer service skills. While I was waiting I also purchased a hair dryer from another staff member that had recently returned to work, amazing experience, she is super friendly and supportive in listening to my bad experiences with the staff member in the photo area. Thankyou to these two for turning it around and your help while i was in there.
Sadly after many years of purchasing many items and having unbelievable service from all 3 sections, in particular Kim, Adam and Sean, but many others too, an issue surfaced with one of my printers, having purchased a new toner, it did not work, I returned with the printer and left it for testing, as the moment I inserted the toner, a paper jam warning came up. I was contacted and advised that because out of warranty I would need to try elsewhere, as a result I went through the formal complaint process as I was not at all satisfied that the Manager I had tried to see on 5 separate occasions was either not there or could not be located, when I did get to see him I did not appreciate his manner, I was then contacted the following day and asked to go back in and they would try again, this time the story changed and I was advised the printer which had been with them a month now was missing a part and this was the cause, by now I was furious and left and went back via my initial complaint stating I had been left in a position that I could no longer return to the store and requested that the printer with the new toner be returned to me, as I would use it in the 2nd identical printer I have from them to my registered address. It is over a month later and the printer has not been returned. It saddens me that after years of exemplary service that due to a single person I can no longer return to the store and I am now down 1 printer and an unused toner.
Fantastic customer service in electrical from Amber and Kim. Quite a complex product care issue which was resolved by these members of staff due to going above and beyond. 100% recommended - make sure you ask for these when visiting electrical!

Mum and I went into store to buy a TV however the customer service from the gentleman in the electrical area was atrocious. He was chewing gum through the entire conversation. Was abrasive the way he spoke and then when he told us the price tried and tried to close the sale, he said - “Do ya wannit?”. When we said we’re going to look at some other options he kicked a box back under the shelf and walked away. We ended up purchasing from JB Hi Fi over the road 15 minutes later.
Staff were great. Store is laid out well. Not always best price on the labels !
Specifically didn't want flat pack furniture and was sold on the basis that it comes in two parts" when in reality it's flat pack. Next time will buy cheaper from a diy furniture place instead. Avoid."

David was a rude unhelpful. I will never shop at Harvey Norman Woonambool. First rule customer is always right (and I was). Banging on your keyboard like a spoilt brat and chew gum like you were a cow is unnecessary. Maybe it might be time to retire...
Typical of Harvey Norman franchises I have shopped at over the years. Wide range of goods, prices not cheap but competitive.

This review is not related to any of the Harvey Norman staff, but to a product they enthusiastically promote:- the Product Care which for computers is conducted by a company called Brightside TPA Services. On 3/5/2021 I purchased a LENOVO LEGION 5 lap top computer. I also purchased product care for $350. With setup, and Office the entire cost ended up $2199. Just prior to 10/06/2023 the battery charge began to fail. There was a small red clip on the lead and we believed this is what caused the cable to become frayed and this, in turn, caused issues with the charger’s ability to charge the computer. The computer no longer recognised the charger as genuine, and would ask for the charger that was purchased with the computer to be used. The computer was no longer under warranty but we were told the Product Care still applied. One piece of information that is not disclosed when you purchase Product Care is that your computer will be sent away for 2-3 weeks to be inspected. For many people this means purchasing something else to retain their connection to the internet. After two and a half weeks I received a phone call from Brightside about my Product Care claim. They said the claim was being rejected because the item was damaged. They wanted me to supply the sum of $405.39 for the cost, of them supplying a replacement charger. I refused and demanded both my computer and the ‘damaged charger’ be returned to me. When it was returned, I was able to extract the exact details of the charger and buy a brand new one online for a total cost of $79, including postage. I would never again be persuaded to buy Product Care.

Although my headphones were sent in the wrong colour, when I called Aaron was super helpful and is currently organising for them to be swapped. I appreciated how quick he was in getting back to me.

Bought our TV from here, great customer service. Although at times the staff do push you for a sale as more they sell more commission they make.
I recently purchased a Belling oven, however, things went awry when they sent the wrong oven! Thankfully, the warehouse personnel at Harvey Norman Warrnambool were on top of their game as they picked up the error and alerted the sales personnel immediately. Abbey swung into action contacting me straight away. To say I was not happy is an understatement! Abbey did everything in her power to rectify things in a very efficient and professional manner. This young lady deserves a medal for excellent customer service! Within a few days, I received the correct oven. Abbey kept me notified every step of the way. Her manner and professionalism were faultless from the very first phone call to the last. A massive thank you to Abbey and everyone involved in the process. It's greatly appreciated.

We bought a Smeg oven 2 years ago and our internal oven door shattered 12 days ago. We purchased extended warranty and almost 2 weeks later we are still waiting for someone to come and assess then hopefully get to use our (much needed) oven in less than one month after! It took two months to get our coffee machine back. The extended warranty is not worth the trouble and money and we felt ping-ponged between Harvey Norman and everyone else, without a positive outcome!
Always deal with Kim. Great salesperson, always gives us a fair deal. Plenty of products to choose from. Great store.

This afternoon I had a lovely lady called Macarena, in the bedding department, served me. She was a great listener and a tremendous conversationalist. I didn't end up making a purchase but she helped me to narrow down my options, making it a much easier trip than I thought it would be. I was very pleased with the customer service.

The staff approached very fast and were asked by multiple people if they could help. Prices are more expensive than other places like JB hi-fi and the good guys but it's a physical store that offers warranties. What I was looking for was in stock and I was in and out in 5 minutes.
My partner and I had a wonderful experience with Jon today. His product knowledge was second to none and his friendly personality was definitely something to highlight. I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a ridiculously sized TV or a dryer! Thanks Jon.

Purchasing computer monitors for gaming the sales assistant (Aiden) was very helpful, extremely knowledgeable and assisted me in getting the right product for my needs.
We had to buy a computer, the young man attending to us (Aiden) was very, very helpful, switched on and articulate, it was a very good experience. A few weeks earlier we had to buy a washing machine, mine had died, and that time was a good experience too.
Really horrible sales team. Feel they were really trying to take advantage of me as I am a woman. Go the good guys every time I reckon
Bought a $1700 outdoor setting for a client , when assembling it found there was not the right parts supplied , rang at Harvey Norman Warrnambool expecting the “run around” , spoke to Adam , he could not of been more helpful . Adam sorted it on the spot , with in 20 min I had the right part and was on my way . No grief , no attitude an absolute pressure to deal with 👍
Usualluy great service and decent prices. Happy to buy local when I can! Lots of different electronics that we love browsing. Great selections available. Lots of home furniture as well. Sometimes a bit pricey for me but there are usually different brands that are there which are cheaper if needed. A lot of major brands are represented. Well stocked on most products that we looked at. Recommended shopping
