My sandwich was cold and too much onion sauce and the staff was rude as well

I gave a 3 star for the view ! If you like the smell of urine rising up the staircase that leads to the bathroom sit at the tables there, you can even smell it from the tables on the outside dining area where the doors are. Food and service average, will not go back until they have the smell under control.

Absolutely grim feed, Parma was off, calamari was soggy as, chips are mid at best

Grim feed

Dirty tables no cleaning of tables

Booked and double checked prior to the date. Arrived just before the time and the manager was clueless of the booking and table was not set up at all. Food was average and the live music was nice.

Was a great place to spend time during 40deg heat (air-conditioning was refreshing)

Fish and Chips is something different here, delicious

I send them a email in regards to me having a birthday party there I had no response so I rang I gave the guy my details he said someone would contact me about it I've had no one contact me so now I'm looking at going somewhere else for my birthday party

Top location. Loved the Virgin Watermelon Mojito.

Always a pleasure visiting. Friendly staff and great tunes 😎

It was a Friday night. We booked a table for 4 people, when we arrived told someone about our reservation no interest shown we course our own table joined them together. No one came to clean the tables, offered us a menu, or asked if we wanted any drinks. The music playing was way too loud. So we all got up and left, went to a restaurant 100 mtrs away, and had a very enjoyable evening and meal.

Ist eher ein Treffpunkt dafür ist es super, für Party People

Man sitzt sehr schön dort mit Blick aufs Riesenrad. Toiletten etwas schmuddelig.

Worst chicken schnitzel I have ever had, greasy uneadable, terrible service, bar staff didn't know how to use the computer till...no knives and forks provided, had to go looking for them, seats were very uncomfortable metal chairs, and the music was blaring along with a quiz night , which was seriously ridiculously loud, spotted a bar attendant sipping someones drink before he took it to the table. Never Ever will we go there again...

Over priced, low quality not fresh food.

Terrible Karaoke, aircon colder than Siberia, but better than the truly awful service. Five different people asked what we ordered throughout the 90 mins it took to serve burnt schnitzels. Samford Plaza should be embarrassed to put their name on this disaster. The only positive were the bar staff, who tried, gave free drinks and were intent on surviving the evening. Avoid at all costs.

No Shiraz in a pub in “Adelaide” for three days bar manager should be sacked for incompetence

Stood at the bar for 10 minutes waiting to get served looking at the bar tender why he serves other people. Don’t go here

Good all-rounder with a view.

Friendly staff and great atmosphere

Enjoyed the experience

Had a great time. Good music and atmosphere. Can be a bit crowded at times. Lovely being near the beach..

The seafood platter was exceptional, the service was outstanding, and the views were breathtaking.

The children’s spaghetti meal for $30 was ridiculous for that price. Tibet’s part of spaghetti hard overcooked meatballs, soggy vegetables stupid amount of desert with it n cheap soup. Should not been more than a $10 meal. Daughter didn’t even eat it we tried it it was disgusting for $30!

Was a bit dirty and table next to us tried to buy wine off the list and didn't have anything

bel locale con meravigliosa vista sulla spiaggia, la qualità del cibo è migliorabile ma la vista compensa

Great view of the gulf while you are enjoying an ale or 6. Beer is VERY cold. Lunch is available.

The staff were fabulous on both days that we visited. Friendly and helpful. Food was awesome! Can't wait to go back.

Had dinner with a mate, everything was delicious, mains, dessert everything spot on. If I would pick on anything it was a little slow to get food considering how quiet it was, but the fact it was all delicious made it all the worth while. Would definitely recommend, especially on a hot summers day.

Lazy rude Indian bar staff. Walk past this place.

Nice to have a drink and look out over glenelg jetty and the sea.

Worst food ever we ordered 2 fishermans baskets the fish was dry, the prawns well where were the prawns and salad was 1 piece of lettuce with no dressing. Would not recommend eating here. Sorry

Great place friendly staff

Dog of a place. Was served a tiny plastic sippy cup when I ordered a cider and charged a price worthy of living in Monaco. Yuck. Never again.

It’s been 2.5 years ago that I last had drinks at the bar and vowed at the time to never drink there again, rude waitstaff and had to have wine re poured twice due to dirty glasses. I relented this evening and went there with my partner only to find that NOTHING has changed. Again disinterested staff, poor service and STILL filthy glasses. I guess they don’t feel they need to do anything as they have the preeminent position at Glenelg. Do yourself a favour and try any of the other fine establishments in the area!

We had seafood basket and salt n pepper calamari. Very oily/greasy, potato cakes hard, no salad and sauce bland. Service at the bar very very slow. Disappointed 😒

Brad took great care of us while we enjoyed our beveraginos - a slay in my opinion

I had a great experience at October fest! Brad was such a dream server 🫶🏼

Lovely place to enjoy a drink looking out to sea, the beach front and street life. Great cold beer.

Stayed in luxury great value. Staff were amazing too. Except one bar person kept showing me what beers were available after I asked for Whiskey and told him I can't drink beer so he went to the cellar to find Whiskey and came back with Crown Larger.

Great location in Glenelg, good views and good selection of beers.

Great place to have drinks and watch sports

went here for a group lunch and throughly enjoyed it. The highlight for me was the side slaw actually tasted nice unlike at other places (i got the salt and pepper calamari) one downside however was that the bathrooms weren’t well kept (according to my friend)

Great place!

Staff were amazing on Fathers Day even gave us a few presents 🎁 caught up with an old mate, considering it’s been decades it was like it was only yesterday….

Great hotel, fabulous view. Fantastic vibe

Came to try the quiz night, 4 teams played including, myself, the bar staff, the host and one other team. one member from the other team came to my table and dropped marijuana on our table, brought it to the attention of the bar staff, who did nothing about it and happily served the man until he left. food was above average, although our loaded fries were drowning in sauce. atmosphere was pretty dead, although it’s probably because it was a cold wednesday night. despite coming first in the quiz night and having won the second place prize- a $50 voucher unsure if i will be back.

Nice people and food

Very pretty, lovely views.

The interior definitely fell well short of the exterior of the entrance. Great bar staff, great happy hour however a very ordinary evening meal and little atmosphere.

Great view. They didn't have margaritas on the menu, but the bartender was happy to make it for me. Good drink too.

Came for lunch & ordered the Seaford Pot Pie. Was the best ever! Staff very friendly & helpful.

Cold beer, tasty food & Karaoke on Monday nights certainly makes for an entertaining evening

The menu was very small and food quality poor. There was a significant difference in the quantity and presentation of 2 friends who had ordered the same meal. The bar staff seemed more interested in social interaction with each other, than serving customers. The venue was too loud for conversation during meal service.

A group booking of 8, all but 1 were very dissapointed with the food. A sadder fisherman's basket has never been seen. The fisherman would starve and have enough grease to keep a boat running.

It's a lovely sunset, location ideal. You pay for it.

Location is awesome, beautiful view from the tables at the front . Food was ok , burgers were made with cheap patties so I wouldn't recommend but salt and pepper squid was pretty good . Service could have been better

The only good thing is the views Why do I keep coming back? The service is always so slow. 1 person at the bar trying to serve. Tonight was the last straw. Sign at the front says “happy hour” 4-6pm. I got charged $10.20 for my coopers beer. I ask “is that the happy hour price?” He says no there is no happy hour. What do you mean? The sign says happy hour!! Nope, no happy hour. Also it’s a poor selection of beers. The food is just mediocre pub food.

Had a nice feed on the balcony out the front as the sun set. was really nice atmosphere for a sunday arvo. Cocktails were good, food was tasty.

Our meals were superb. Delivered with a smile & cleaned away with a 'thank you, glad you enjoyed' 😊 We thoroughly enjoyed the Nasi Goreng for dinner & the curry pumpkin soup with flat bread for lunch 😋 YUMMO !

Fantastic food, awesome staff and great atmosphere! Will definitely be back again soon. Loved it!! ❤️

High Tea - SOOO disappointed! Have been to the Grand on several occasions for High Tea in the past - it was our go to because the scones and sandwiches were the best. WERE being key - this visit was a 'mothers day done early' the week before mothers day - and turned out to be a total disaster! Their service ... well, there really wasn't any to complain about... the food tiers were put on the table with a minor explanation - which was fine. But the sandwiches were 1/3 of a sandwich each, so with the crusts remove - and rightly so - that just left a mouthful of sandwich. The scones used to be quite large, white and fluffy - not anymore - we were served brown 'biscuity' scones the size of a 50c piece! While there were glasses of water on the table, so we did get a drink, there were no other drinks served. Not one cup of tea in sight! Oh - we were offered a glass of bubbles, but that would have cost an additional $20. Thankfully we don't drink bubbles. The three of us finished the food - waited momentarily to see if we were offered a cup of tea, none was forthcoming so we left.

The location is great, the rest... I'll leave it there

Always a great meeting place when in Adelaide, / Glenelg - prices fair.

Visited as part of Taste Adelaide. Had the slow cooked BBQ platters. Terrific food... The corn bread was too die for! Great atmosphere overlooking the ocean, and the service was great. I think its was the only table the chef didn't speak to, which was a bit disappointing. Nonetheless, we'll be back.

Nice cold beer on the beach front 🏖️🍻👍

Sunday night was a bit quiet, was mother's day and crows were playing in Adelaide. Great selection of beers. Updated since the last time I went in.
