Meal was Luke warm and vegetables not cooked at all.

Fabulous venue for larger gatherings. The food is superb and the staff sublime! We've been coming for years and will continue.

Pretty civilised place to have dinner. It's clean and neat, and the service and food are good.

Went for dinner Thursday 28th November. As usual excellent service by lovely staff. Table of seven. Great service, meals delivered in record time considering the crowd. The best meal I have had in such a long time was the “Chicken cashew stir fry”. 10 out of ten for the meal, the serving was large and most enjoyable. The staff always excellent and happy members of the team. Congratulations to the chef and the team as well. Excellent dining experience. Pete

The downstairs sports bar area is fantastic. The staff are awesome and make the visit extra special. I always feel safe and welcomed by the very important person who is on the front line and will create the atmosphere and experience in your venue. The game room is not good because nothing is free no coffee no soft drink but u spend money their not good service I do not recommend to any one very bed ? When u go to any we’re els good coffee any soft drink for free . RSL Iin Greensbourgh no good please don’t go there

Half the meals were Ok. The Roast Beef was tough. The Chicken Schnitzal looked like it had been cooked the day before and the Chicken Strips looked like only one had been cut into 3 and covered with batter. These were seniors meals. You need to do better

Had lunch the other day and had Lemon Chicken and Thyme Salad the chicken was very dry and all I had was a piece of lemon to go with it very disappointed,

We ordered the steak sandwich and it was tough and unedible. We left half of it on the plate and complained to the waitress and she said she would let the kitchen know. No refund offered

Been a long time fequenter of Greensborough RSL. Great meals, cold beer, staff are great. Have been a member pf both Watsonia and Dorern RSLs. They are all good. Now at Doreen RSL.

I’ve never won on the pokies there .. any have spent plenty trying .. staff manager today was quite rude .. I’ve never really judged an rsl they have all been happy friendly , the machines payout .. except here. I doubt I’ll ever return

Very rude lady at the front counter downstair at the reception, she wanted my id just to eat food, this is outrageous. I will certainly not be coming back here again, the only thing great was the young staff serving us, they were very polite and pleasent

Had a wonderful dinner tonight, food came out extremely fast, cooked to absolute perfection, the staff were so efficient and lovely, I have been here quite a few times I have never left disappointed! The food is always well priced, bistro is clean and the meals are great

First time here for a meal only. The rude lady at the front desk insisted that I show identification and she copied my driver's licence otherwise she wouldn't let me in. The meal was average and expensive. I certainly will never be coming back here again.

Meals are not as good as they used to be. Increased in price and much smaller portions.

Was at your bistro today for the first time, and I promise you it will be the last time too. You see signs everywhere nowadays asking customers not to abuse the staff of said establishment but yet there should be a sign informing the staff not to abuse the clientele as my family & I were disgustingly and very disappointedly abused by a female staff member today. The way we were spoken to by her was totally unacceptable as well as uncalled for especially as we were very polite to her.

Staff unfriendly, prices too high for pensioners and what's with the bread rolls......charging $1.50 terrible..Prices have gone up and meals have become smaller.. Not worth coming there anymore....

Great atmosphere and friendly

Extremely disappointing! Arrived at venue for a family bday celebration, -Rude lady at reception upon signing in was argumentative and cold. -Husband stood in line to order our family meals, only to have a guy standing to the left of him only to be saying something under his breath. Another staff member then spoke to him asking him where are you in the line? He responded where you are meant to be. He then made a rude comment to my husband saying this is where it is, my husband responded it doesn’t say anything about a line etc; The guy then stood leaning on the counter trying to be somewhat intimidating. They lady responded he knows where the line used to be etc; because he works here. What the? How embarrassing and petty that a staff member would behave like that. Food was okay, but all on the smaller side. Would not recommend, did not enjoy our experience at all.

The service here is second to none. Staff are friendly, helpful & diligent and the meals leave you most satisfied. Can’t recommend it enough!!

This is the only place I have been too that wouldn't allow you to take food away that I had purchased under the excuse that they didn't have a take away food licence however if you wanted to take away a desert that was somehow ok.

I have order classic Cesar salad with smoke salmon but I never got it and another thing one of staff have gave me wrong food like grilled salmon with salad which I didn't order . One of staff didn't ask any names but I wish they did say something . When staff come out and give out food that when staff should say names so people know what food they order .

Food was nice. We watched Gypsy The Fleetwood Mac tribute show, pity the sound guys and a girl didn't stop talking through the show. We were on table 12, right at the back, so distracting through the show.Guys were talking and the girl laughing, I asked them to stop, I spoke to manger he walked off on me, Reception hung up on me. So very disappointed, I was really looking forward to the show.

What a great experience I had at the RSL. The customer service from Maree and Ruby was amazing... so polite and friendly :) Dan the chef cooked a delicious, yummy meal, the cob loaf garlic bread was great, and the desert was yummy. The overall experience was great, and I recommend the RSL to everyone. I will be going back again to try more on the menu.

I love the building

Lovely meals on a Sunday night, Calamari came out a bit late, but tasted nice and tender. Staff member Brooklyn provided great service and made us feel welcome.

The RSL room is very nice and cozy for a medium size event. Very Good food. Steak or barramundi 1st course. Sweets followed. Show was very mediocre. A few songs played were good.. Lodi. Etc. The band was way too loud on most songs, which were hard to recognise until 1/2 way Through the song. But plenty of older people were enjoying it and dancing to their favourite hits. The band is barely 3 x * . Too loud, off key most songs so loud it was impossible to recognise the song.

I really like it at the Greensborough RSL it’s got lots of parking. The staff are lovely, the food is really good too. I like the lay out of the tables as they are not close together. It’s not noisy with everywhere carpeted. And it’s very clean.

Dinner tonight was fantastic! Courtesy bus pickup and taken home. Well done Greensborough RSL team

Great food, fantastic staff, and a good atmosphere make it a great place to go.

Nice enough menu, but if you’re travelling by private car, get there early, because parking is scarce and poorly arranged.
