I had an excellent experience at the metro on Sunday night. James provided me with incredible hospitality and was very kind and approachable.

THE REVIEWS COVER MOSTLY BAR THIS IS FOR HOTEL. DONT RELY ON THE PUB RATINGS Was all okay until it got miserably hot and the ceiling fan (or any fan) just wasnt going to do it. Staff was incredible and the place was clean. The food and drink downstairs were convenient when the market and other local food and drink were closed. I am okay with sharing space, but it can be a long night when people go in and out of rooms closing doors. shared bathroom and balcony were clean, but unfotunately my neighbors took over both as if they owned it. Smoking outside my room at all hours. Leaving butts ro greet me in the morningm do not recommend in the hot weather. couldnt open a window and communal balcony means direct access to room be it another person or their smoke and conversation. wish there was air conditioning or a way to open window without neighbors. Most frustrating was people who paid for cheaper rooms freely accessed balcony and parked there for the evening. Needs better rules. Pub people were more considerate than the guests

Good older style hotel with lots of character. Have a good range of local beers and others. Food is good pub food. Lots of atmosphere

Overpriced for what it is. Shared bathroom very messy. Window view was literally a wall with loud construction going on right outside (starting from 4am!) wouldn't stay again.

A great pub in the heart of Adelaide's CBD - A perfect candidate for knock offs There's very few distinctions (for me) between a good pub and a great one, but the Metro is able to flex it's location, prices and options to be considered great Love coming here after a week of work to have a few drinks with work colleagues and discuss the weekend at hand. The environment is accommodating and the staff are equally friendly The food is standard pub food, but always delivers on flavour and promptness

I was disappointed in the room as this was advertised as 3 star rating I expected it to be 3 star my room was very basic single bed wardrobe table empty fridge heater no tea and coffee making facilities or cups and plates cutlery not even a tv this is not 3 star

First time visit, went during the grand final of AFL. staff were very friendly, food was good.

Big shout out to Damo and the Crew at the Metro Hotel. Good food, Great service, and ice cold beers! And when in need of a cheap and cheerful place to put your head down, the Metro has you covered. Always a pleasure to stop in for a visit when in Radalaide!

Schreckliches, uraltes Zimmer, Möbel abgenutzt, sehr düster und sehr laut. Gemeinschaftsbad, obwohl auf der Seite wo wir gebucht haben, davon nichts stand. Leider nicht zu empfehlen, zumindest nicht für den Preis.

日曜日の12時に訪問。他に食事を食べている人がいなかったので、オーダーは自分のみ。 わりとすぐに料理は出てきた。 ただ焦げた臭いしかしなかったので、分解して中を見てみたら、カチカチに焦げた肉が入っていた。これでお金を取ろうとする意味がわからない。素人が調理した感じ。 作ったシャフのレベルを疑う。 シェフはもっと経験を積んだ方が良い

這是一家很有特色的旅店，歷史悠久，木質裝潢，古色古香，衛浴設備也是復古型式，一樓有餐廳兼酒吧，餐點也是好吃的。假日還有樂團表演，很有氣氛很是熱鬧，卻不影響樓上的住宿休息，很棒的一家店。

Just stay in a hostel. Loud music blasting until right next door until 1am multiple weekdays- tiny space heater trying to heat a whole room.. no iron or hangers, stayed in the yha right afterwords and had much more peaceful nights. Its not worth it!

We occasionally drop into the Metropolitan for a drink after work.. good cocktails... lovely atmosphere... this pub seems to have reinvented itself.. plenty of people congregating for a drink despite all the chaos of the roadworks on Pitt St.

Lunch: Very disappointing 😞 Bar staff, in particular Jimela was brilliant and very supportive. They are lucky to have her The mash potatoes were cold, hard and old. Surely mashed potatoes are basic entry skill

Bar staff were great but the meal was very disappointing. When a chef can't make a simple meal with hot freshly made (even made same day) mashed potato it really says something about his culinary skills. If I hadn't been so hungry I wouldn't have left the reheated food on my plate. Not somewhere I would revisit.

ACCOMODATION REVIEW: I stayed here while attending AFL’s Gather Round and had a great stay. We booked later than we were hoping so was just happy to get anywhere for a reasonable price and we ended-up walking out having a great time and would definitely stay here again. We were on a budget so wasn’t expecting much and don’t get me wrong, the room was simple, the building was a little tired and the bathrooms and showers were shared BUT everywhere was spotless, the location was great and the staff were so kind and accomodating so it was perfect for us. Definitely would stay here again.

I was very impressed. Rooms are clean, perfect location and good price. It was a little noisy in the room during the evening with music from the pub, but I was aware of this when I booked to stay in a pub!

Good little place for live music. Was packed the night i went, with young people watching (i can only assume) some of their mates playing. The bar itself looks a bit like a RSL, but good for what was needed there. Staff were great

Just paid to stay here and was there for approximately 30 minutes total. Honestly thought Bad Boy Bubby was fictious before staying here. Possibly the worst room I have ever seen even after travelling to 30+ countries. Avoid at all costs.

You get what you pay for, needs a bit of a facelift but hotel rooms are for sleeping in and changing clothes not for sitting in all day so for me it was fine, really close to centre and the bar staff were very helpful, my second time here and I will be going again the next time I'm passing.

Meals R Good but A/C needed to be turned up when a lot of diners.
