Was not impressed at all by the food especially for the prices. We had a party of 10 and not one person liked their meal. Bread was stale and falling apart on the burgers; veggies just microwaved; chicken dry and stringy. Pillows on chairs outside were also dirty and not pleasant to sit on.

I loved the atmosphere because it was like I was inside and outside at the same time also I enjoyed the plants and wood the service was amazing but I asked for a medium rump steak but when it was delivered to my table it was well done

Went to see a band there on the Friday 31st Jan. Couldn't even get to dance because of the people just standing around. If pubs are going to have bands playing there should be a dance floor. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

We wish to thank Adam for helping to organise my husband's wake, Celebration of his life in the Garden Room. To all the staff who helped on the day, including service of food and bar staff. Plus the chef for the excellent food served. Also for then accommodating over 40 people for an early dinner. Everyone was very appreciative of how quickly the food was served and the quality of the service and the food. So thank you for making a difficult day just a bit easier. From the whole family

Great bottle shop, staff are excellent here. Bars are great, just wish they still had cheaper house wine, but overall it's value given the quality of the food and the excellent atmosphere. Edit: changed to 5* as they responded, which shows they care for opinions, plus checking the wine menu it is excellent and includes very local wines (like paracombe) at very good prices.

Service a bit slow. Not a full dining room. Waited 45 mins for meal. Meal tasty and good value.

We were not offered menus, nor were we told that we needed to order at the counter. I ordered a vegetarian version of the Natchos. It was so dry that I couldn't finish it. The Christmas tree was a joke! I doubt we will be back.

The food was amazing. The service was amazing and I love the look of the place. It's a great place for a date, not just another pub meal , it feels a lot nicer than most pubs.

Great lunchtime dining experience. Lunchtime $15 menu is great with good size meals which were all excellent. Staff were all extremely pleasant and service great.

Bit of a rocky start as due to being short staffed, they misplaced our order , I was not upset by this as I am retired. But how the Dining Manager Chris handled this was just amazing , firstly he refused to accept payment for our meals , which were very nice I must add. Then before we left he handed me an envelope with $40 of meal vouchers for our next visit. 1st class service

Had a 21st party there Saturday night. The service was good but the food was average at best. The beef kebabs were tough and chewy like gum. The chicken kebabs had no taste at all. The pizza was ok.

I was there for a party, with finger food. Way better than I imagined, food was delicious, extremely tasty. Thankfully, no party pies in sight! The staff are very friendly and professional. Surprisingly, even the younger ones! I rate it and would definitely go back. If I had to be really picky, music was too quiet.

Attended a party here... great separate space for everyone to gather. Great selection of food provided, but gluten free was very limited. All the staff were friendly. Would recommend as a great place for a special celebration.

I was sceptical about dining here, having had bad experiences in the past. On this particular occasion, I was pleasantly surprised, the food was tasty. I enjoyed the Grove burger, and the service was friendly.

Consistently of serving size and quality (braised lamb shoulder $32) very poor, 2 serves to same table @ same time could not have been more different in presentation or condition. Saving graces were the good service and other -wise good quality food

We celebrated my wife’s birthday recently at the taverns function rooms. The staff we fantastic from start to finish. Everything was taken care of without a fuss. We would recommend having your next special celebration at the Grove.

We were part of a birthday celebration with about 40 people. The food came out all together, and the meals were really substantial and delicious.

The Grove was a fantastic venue! We recently hosted our parents retirement dinner party in a private room called 'The boardroom'. Around 30 people sit down. The meals were delicious and arrived in a timely manner. The service was lovely and atmosphere aswell. Highly recommend for your next function or a meal 😍

A great place for functions. We hired The Boardroom for a private lunch for my Mum's 80th. It was a wonderful space with loads of seating, private for good conversations and it had a TV for photos. The Grove had some inclusions that helped make the space more festive. The staff were so helpful, it was a really stress free experience as everything was taken care of.

Bistro itself was nicely decorated Food was terrible, not flavourful and not very enjoyable! Try somewhere with a better quality food if you’re after a good pub meal.

Just came here for a 1st Bday Party and I would recommend anyone wanting to celebrate a bday here as the food and service are very good. Plenty of space and a wonderful venue.

A very nice place to spend time

We celebrated my Brothers 50th Birthday last night at The Grove. Fantastic atmosphere and friendly helpful service. The menu has a great variety to offer and very reasonably priced. The food was delicious and only a short wait time. After service there was a band who had some of us up on the dance floor. We all had a great night.

Bit hard to share the experience. Son in law booked a table for 5 for my grandson's 12th birthday, which was on the same day. Arrived to be told no booking was made, did he ring up a different hotel. How insulting, no he did not. He made a booking at Grove Way, proof on his mobile. Thankyou for making us come out on a very cold night. Thankyou for making my grandson's birthday a sad day. Yes worse could happen but take responsibility for it. Being a function coordinator for over 35 years, sorry but again, so insulting.

We held a birthday lunch for my mum’s 98th birthday on Sunday. The management very thoughtfully put some hellium ballon’s on table 11 for her. The service was top notch, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food and selection on the menu was good, something for everyone and the batter on the fish and chips was crunchie as! Thanks for making our family day very special and memorable.

Took an hour for the food and drinks took 15 like how does a coke take a quarter of an hour to make and the seafood made me throw up

Decent pub grub. Crazy loud on a Friday night but maybe we were just unlucky with a few birthdays near our table.

We have just held our daughter’s 18th birthday party in the garden. The events manager Adam was fantastic and all the staff on the night made sure everything was perfect and ran smoothly. The food platters were amazing!! Definitely recommend

The wood fired pizzas were soggy and my salt and pepper squid might as well have been made out of thongs. Rubbery and tasteless.

Went for a birthday. 2 meals were ok 1 was inedible Service was no existance. Have had good experiences in the past. Seems to be hit and miss now. Entertainment was great.
