We had our initial concerns when trying to book a D&D birthday party for 5 11yo boys and first-time players at that, but Matt got their attention from start to finish, slowly warming them up and introducing the rules, to the finale of fighting a big bad wizard where everybody was really invested. My wife booked Matt to run a Dungeons and Dragons one shot as a birthday present to me. It was hands down the best game of D&D I have ever played. Matt was fantastic at bringing the players out of their shell, had some great back and fourth with the humour of the party and we all immediately wanted to play more as soon as the session ended. He provided pre-made characters for some of the newer players to use, which made the session run much smoother. The terrain and miniatures he used for combat made all of our battles an insanely immersive experience. Thank you Matt for creating such a magical evening, we can't wait to do it again in the very near future. I would absolutely recommend Matt to anyone looking to play D&D or any other tabletop roleplaying games.
