Great location for small conferences and seminars. Reminder - proof of ID required as it’s inside a Club.
Won fiddy bucks
Exceptional! Check It Out! Enjoy! Community, Great Restaurants, Great Physical Activity Options, Staff, and More - You Deserve This Treat! LOVE
We are loyal Ryde Eastwood members but that may change, as we are sick of the East West Bistro the orders take ages and you are not informed of this, if you order two meals one sits in the bench until the other is ready the first dish is dry because if this.If a show is on dont even bother to order with them you will be waiting all night. We have given them lots of chances but no improvement. They need more staff in the kitchen and better organization. We will not be eating a East West again.
I have a dinner in the function room. The food is very good. Steak is very yummy. I take a photo with the chef Ah Fook and appreciate his good job.
A warm and welcoming club, my family of six are regulars as the kids love the play area. Only disappointment is I find the east west bistro are not consistent with their meal serves. One time the meals are decent servings and other times the chips aren't enough or the pad Thai is a small serving. For the price the meals could stay a bigger serving.
What is on at Ryde Eastwood leagues club tonight?
friendly atmosphere...
It’s like walking into a mini casino, they hold a high standard and the staff are professional. I became a member and I’m from Victoria. The venue is nice, they have restaurants at the back with a kids play area. The pokies are by far the best, managed to get the Rapid Grand Jackpot, Will definitely be back.
The carbonara pasta here was salty, disturbing other elements of the food. Even after finishing it, it left a mild salty taste in my mouth. The chicken schnitzel was also pretty salty and the gravy seemed to have been made a while ago.
Good food. Nice eating area
Christmas buffet was a pleasure to attend. Food variety perfect , quality the best, well organised, great value, and friendly easy going atmosphere. Thank you organisers and staff involved. Hope to attend in 2025🙂👌
Food only mediocre; parking difficult during busy times
Attended the club to watch an INXS Show. Food was a very good quality and drinks very responsibly priced. Overall a very good experience.
The food in the Bistro was very disappointing. Me & my friend had the Spaghetti Marinara 🍝 which I would usually enjoy. My friend had 3 prawns, I had only 1, along with so many pieces of shall in my meal, which made it very unpleasant to eat. I advised the waitress who listened but said nothing in response 😏

Great place to visit and enjoy drinks and food.
Good, well managed club with excellent gym and restaurant facilities. Lunch at East West bistro was excellent
Meals were very good and tasty
We went for a family meal with a party of 15. The food was very nice, good sizes and delivered quickly. Prices were also very reasonable. Pho and mushroom fungi.
Very friendly staff especially the ladies in the Bistro they work hard & always smiling enjoy our visits there
The black security guy on 23/11 at 23:00 was super rude. We were just 2 girls going to the coffee club cafe and didn’t know that sign in was required even to go to the cafe. As soon as we entered, he blasted at us “WHAT??? YOU CANNOT GO IN THERE WITHOUT SIGNING IN” We wanted to complain at the same time to the higher management but just left instead. He could have said the same thing in a nicer way. I think he needs customer training and how to talk to people in general. Won’t be going back there.
A great place to catch up with friends especially at this time of the year.
We used to come here every week when the kids were little but haven’t been very often since Covid. Ventured in a couple of Fridays ago and the restaurant has a revamped look and feel. We had a variety of dishes (Mongolian Beef, Lamb Shanks, Burger). All were excellent. Pricing is good and the food came promptly. A great place for an easy Friday night dinner option.
Fantastic club with lots of facilities, gym, coffee club and yum cha place. They are ready for Melbourne Cup.
1st time going here and it is really good and yummy food AAA ++++
An organisation I belong to had its annual dinner at Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club last night. The staff were great, and gracefully made some seating adjustments right before the event, due to some late changes. The food was excellent, and the staff also efficiently and accurately handled the meals for people with dietary needs. The evening was very enjoyable and successful.
Just joined the club, very nice establishment with facilities. However one major downside is the drinks are not complimentary at the pokies, you must lose money to gain points. I lost $50 bucks at the pokies and couldnt get any drink. Other clubs are not like this for sure and provide complimentary drinks
Had dinner there for my partner's birthday. Good menu choices. Easy to find the venue. I would definitely eat there again.
Like walking into a Nursing home,no club bus for those that like to drink, the only club that l know of that has no club bus for members and visitors ,
Clean & comfortable place to enjoy entertaining and exercising
Went to watch the Rebecca O'Connor as Tina Turner show which was excellent. Had a meal as well and the food was delicious and the prices very fair.
Nice club with Chinese restaurant on the first floor and a bistro on ground floor. Good prices are reasonable and food quality is good. Some dishes are better then others but particularly on the ground floor the menu has plenty of options.
Recently joined the club, was given a booklet and noticed they had children’s activities during the holidays. I booked my granddaughter into the cup and plate decorating and making slime. Ellie who ran both activities was fantastic, she kept the kids engaged and everyone had a great time. We finished our visit with lunch at East West Kitchen. Thank you to all involved for a wonderful experience
Great fitness facilities, restaurants, and easy parking.
Quality food. Well presented club. Reschs On Tap in Main Bar. What more could you ask for?
We would highly recommend an event at the Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club. We were so impressed in 2008 for our family reunion lunch that we came back again in 2024. The venue catered for all our needs in a very professional manner and very suitable for all family members from under 1 year of age to 91 years of age. From the venue booking, assistance with the PA, scrumptious lunch (including fantastic alternatives for dietary requirements), first class food and beverage services, attractive interior/ function room and a great location with a huge free parking area and near train station for those guests that are visiting Sydney. Thank you to Management and Staff for all you did for us. Highly recommend the Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club. Kathryn, Verney Family Reunion
Came here for lunch. I will not be back. Tables looked good - But this is where good service ends and very bad service begins. Service in the function room; 0 Chicken was very dry and was mildly warm. Additionally, however, the staff did not clear the tables - in fact, they were absolutely useless!. Did not replenish water. Did not do anything. Based on the lack of service, I give them a low 2 out of 5. If you found this review helpful.Don't forget to click ❤️ and don't forget to follow me on Google Maps✔️ where I highlight these sublime👌🏼.And not so sublime👎🏼 goods and services available to us public.😇
Good to dine and enjoy coffee with friends. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere!
very nice and friendly staff. Easy to park
Excellent club with lovely meals, great location
Miss the Venice indoor facade, wish they'd bring it back. but still a great club.
aurora coffee is very nice
Loving our local club!
The chicken snitchel is not the best recently under the new management, elasticy and not flavoured, dumped in oil for a while , not worth the price, change the chicken supplier to a better one Please, thanks
My name is Robert Anderson, President of Ryde Lantern Club, we are a fund raising volunteer Club at Ryde, and have been raising funds for nearly 60 years, where we have now raised around Three Million Dollars for the Children and their Families at The Royal Institute for The Deaf and Blind Children ( now trading as Next Sense) The wonderful Management and staff support our goals at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club, we have two major fund raising events each year, the support and help from the Club, the event Manager and her staff are a wonderful support to us, their organising skills and helpful support to us is amazing! They keep our function costings to a minimum, the value and quality for the meals is fantastic, along with support from the Club in general is Great. The Onsite parking is perfect, and having West Ryde Railway station opposite for our guests is so convenient! This is a great Club, and although I live out Penrith way, it is worth the trip to deal with this great club. I recommend this Club to any group or individual. Robert Anderson. President of Ryde Lantern Club. Thank you.
Excellent venue.
their sizzling chicken if fye yo
We've celebrated two functions here, wedding anniversary and pre-wedding gathering. We've also attended a friend's birthday celebration here. In all occasions, we were absolutely satisfied with their service. Charges were also reasonable.
Enjoyed a lamb shank so tender it fell off the bone, mashed potatoes just like Mum made. Pricey for a club.
Love the atmosphere as you walk in,this place is always very welcoming by staff
Poor customer service everywhere in the club. Went there for birthday dinner and membership renewal. The reception desk lady handed me some coupons for membership renewal and sent me to pick up a couple pf bottles of wines. I thought it's complimentary because none of the staff at desk or bar mentioned the price until the wine were handed over to me. I was basically scammed into buying 2 bottles of wines and their attitude was like I was stupid not to read the coupon. I won't be renewing anymore or recommend any friend to visit this club for their unhelpfulness and poor customer communications. Avoid this club at all cost.
Below average food, no options for restricted diets
We recently had a family function in the Willandra Room at Ryde Eastwood League's Club. The smooth running, the delicious catering and professional service received from the first contact to the last moment of our event surpassed our expectations. A big thank you to Lisa, Emma, Vicky, Joyce and the functions chef for contributing to the success of our function. A big thank you from the family and our guests for a job well done.
Best club in the area that I've found. Opens late, and good food selection and variety
Good food , great service , nice environment .
As usual for a club, things are costly. What's great about is that they provide a gym and a pool. Both are good quality. Cheap and easy to be a member too. People interested can have a look.
