I feel over the years the portion sizes have gotten smaller and the schnitzels are getting thinner

Schnitzel at Orion Springfield is one our favorite places for lunch and sometimes dinner. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff and great food.

My family and I have been here multiple times because it is local and the staff are always friendly. Most of all, the chips are amazing! I have even come here multiple times after school just to eat the chips. One thing I would recommend is for the EFTPOS card reader to be able to be moved off the counter. As I am in a wheelchair and unable to reach it and so the staff have to touch my phone to scan my Apple Pay.

I enjoyed an excellent Snhnitzell Hawian Wrap at the Springfield restaurant on Saturday night. Travis prepared an excellent & succulently tasteful meal and both Star & Sheridan created a very welcoming and friendly environment in the restaurant. I'll certainly be returning to this restaurant for another meal as I had both a tasty meal and a thoroughly enjoyable dining exerience.

I do enjoy a great tasting chicken parmy. Today I was Super hungry, my visit to Springfield Lakes Schnitz was an experience that I would do again and again. Service, food, cleanliness, including chefs working hard and very efficiently might I add totally contributed to my reason for submitting this review. Atmosphere and the way the staff work together were outstanding. Team work makes the dream work is an understatement for this location. Excellent work !!! All staff are a credit to the franchise itself and the owner.

Waited a long time for food. Two tables whole ordered before received their food before us.

We were turned away at 8:05ish when they closed at 8:30 on a Monday. Maybe a sign out the front to say we close the kitchen half an hour before we close might help?

4&1/2 stars. Food is good, well prepared and pretty fast even when they're busy. Service is very good no complaints at all! Atmosphere is average. Better to get takeaway.

Great service from Sean as usual. 5 stars for him. Can't get brie on anything other than Xmas special. So sad. Ended up spending $4 at Coles to get brie. Should have been In till of snitz. Been back for first time in a while. Good to see sean still here and looking after me. Definitely makes me feel welcome. Keep up great service. Food is what the menu says, chips are great but what made this visit for my companion and I was the service. It's counter service but Sean made us feel welcome even though we walked in 20min before kitchen closed. All the staff have always treated us well but his big smile and personality made our visit. Nice to see somewhere like this let an individual shine and not try to turn staff into vaccuus clones. All small local restaurants/food outlets should follow this example to encourage diners to come out for the experience

Absolutely appalling service in this restaurant I made a order tonight before closing time and the order was excepted on uber I was looking forward to my meal only to come back to my phone to find it not coming because these absolute morons canceled it. So disappointing and disgusting. If you don’t want to take orders past 9pm see your app up properly.

I always walked past this place as it never appeared to me as palatable. My husband asked me to get something for him for take away. I also ordered one for my self. I was surprised. Food is delicious, fresh veggies and on top of that the chips are definitely award winning. The staff Matthew was very friendly, accomodating and clarified my orders as to how I want them. He also wears a smiling face while serving. He has good manners. Thank you

Have been here a couple of times and food is always excellent, really friendly staff Not sure why 80% of the tables inside closed for event however no one sitting in them so had to sit out in the 35 degree heat 👎🏼

Ordered food through the app, food arrived without chicken schnitzels, only chips. Paid extra for the delivery. Called and they apologised and said the girl forgot to give the driver the other bag, then the team leader said we could get an Uber back there and he’ll remake the food or give a refund! Hello we ordered online and paid extra for delivery, why are we now paying for an Uber to get there for YOU to resolve the mistake YOUR store made! Then he said we could try get a refund through app WTAF!!!

Best schnitzel I've ever had! They took my gluten free requirements seriously and put a delicious corn crumb on the schnitzel. Chips tasted amazing. Great pricing and great customer service. Recommend to anyone wanting a good meal.

I dined here last night 13/08/2024 and ordered a vegetarian option and was extremely satisfied with my meal. Absolutely beautiful 👌 The restaurant was very clean and the girl on the checkout was pleasant also. Would recommend eating here.

I'm never disappointed with the food here. It's certainly consistent. The service staff could be a bit more friendly, I have never been wowed by the service here. The housekeeping is good here. Well kept. And Tidy well spaced tables.

Wow, what an amazing experience at Schnitz in Orion Springfield Central! From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were in for a treat. The staff were warm and welcoming. But the real magic happened when our food arrived - oh. my. god. The schnitzels were cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior giving way to juicy, tender meat. And the portions? Generous doesn't even begin to describe them! I loved that the menu offered something for everyone, and the prices were super reasonable considering the top-notch quality of the food and service. The restaurant itself was modern and sleek, making it the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a date. All in all, Schnitz has won me over with their outstanding food, fantastic service, and all-around awesomeness. I highly recommend it

Tonight (30/5) myself, my partner and two children dined in at Orion. We ordered meals over two separate orders. The first was a teeny-weeny pack with a slider and the second order was a nosh box, mini chip butty slider with BBQ sauce and chips and finally a spicy crumb Parma and chips. The teeny-weeny came out first for my often very fussy 3yo son. When it arrived we received a wrap. Not a big deal after a little fuss from our son, we convinced him to eat it. When the second order arrived my partner took a bite of her chip butty slider and realised it had gravy, not BBQ sauce we ordered. I politely went to the counter and asked the girl to exchange it for the correct slider we ordered. Not a problem, she took it back to the kitchen and a minute or two later returned with a fresh slider. She opened the new slider to check it was correct and this time NO CHICKEN IN THE SLIDER. did the kitchen run out of chicken? Not wanting to make a fuss again she reluctantly ate it as it was. As I finished my chips and got to my parma, I quickly realised I had been given a plain crumb Parma after ordering spicy crumb. I find the plain crumb to be extremely bland and dull and quite unendurable. At this point I was over the mistakes from this kitchen. We finished what we were given and left feeling extremely disappointed and ripped off for wasting money at this place in a time when i cant afford to waste money. Honestly not sure how hard it is for either the girl at the counter to take my order right or the kitchen to prepare a meal as per the order. 1/5 stars for this experience only because the girl at the counter was very polite. Hopefully I didn't waste my time writing this review as well as wasting my money, but something tells me I did. Thank goodness they got the nosh box right though.

Ordered the basic wrap and it took quite a while (about 20 minutes for my tables food to come out) but omg probably the best wrap I’ve ever had. Crispy schnitzel and literally perfect amount of sauce; not so much it’s oozing everywhere but not so little that it’s dry. First time eating here and now I’m wishing there was one closer to the CBD. I’ll be dreaming about that wrap.
