Wish I took a picture! I've eaten alot of food in my life and the seafood chefs special has hit number 1 best meal I've ever eaten! Have been before, the steaks are also an awesome lunch or dinner.

Daniel was the best waiter, we are locals and always see him helping out customers and he’s always there helping us out whether it’s food, service( which is so good), bringing us our takeaway containers and offering us little things before we even ask, he’s gotta be the top waiter I’ve had in so long. last week, we left without our food left overs on accident, he kept it aside until we came back with a sticky note with a little nice message, this week my Mrs shoe broke off and he temporarily fixed it so we didn’t have to leave to get another pair and come back

We attended due to the Feb specials! Despite being close by, we haven't attended since 2020 as there have been no more price specials since and so, we normally head out weekly to the other pubs close by, that offer specials at start or mid-week. Beautiful service from TANIA made all the difference tonight, as the app was not very intuitive. The nacho cheese bites were pretty good too!

Came in yesterday for lunch and had an amazing time. Gabby was an absolute gem and her Long Island was absolutely delicious. I will absolutely be coming back again.

I decided to go with the 250g rump steak, and I’m glad I did – it was absolutely delicious! I ordered it rare with mushroom sauce and swapped the veggies for eggs and avocado, and they were more than happy to accommodate my request. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the flavours were spot on. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. The staff were not only professional but genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back – great food, great atmosphere, and even better service!

Love this place! came down with a few mates. The bartender gabby was really nice and welcoming will definitely be coming back again, the steak sandwich was banging!

Went to lunch with my family, highly recommend their seafood chef special. I was served and looked after by Gabby. Was impressed by the way she carried the plates. Wonderful place, I am definitely coming back here.

The food at this place us great tasting and great value. Just a really friendly local pub / tavern. My daughter goes there a lot. Shout out to the staff who go above and beyond. Especially Isabella from out last visit.

A hard-working tavern that delivers more than expected. I ordered off the specials menu a grilled seafood plate. My partner ordered the beef pie with gravy and mash. Both dishes were served in a timely manner with a smile. We ordered Daiquiri's each, which were absolutely awesome. For dessert, we had an Oreo chess cake and sticky date pudding. Overall, absolutely fantastic. I'd recommend

Was the moat wonderful evening I've had in a long time. Prices are reasonable. Food and portion sizes are amazing and big!! Staff and service were A+ I would recommend to anybody who's looking for a great night.

This place is a great local place for a birthday dinner, catch up with friends or play a game of pool such a fun and entertaining venu.

I had the schnitzel last time I was here. Was a little disappointed. Obviously cooked from frozen, was a little disappointed. But the steaks looked good. If there is a next time I'll definitely stick to the steaks.

Service and staff were excellent. Only suggestion I would like to make is for the vegetables to be cooked more, especially on the seniors menu. My elderly mother could not eat her carrots and broccoli.

Lovely staff and great value for money. Our favourite staff member is Daniel, he always makes us feel so welcome and takes such great care of us. It’s a wonderful place to take kids for dinner.

The food here is incredible but the real star is the staff. They are considerate and so kind. Offered an extra plate for our daughter and thoughtfully brought sauce over for her also.

I come here usually every Monday with my client. He plays here all the time and almost always drink 2 schooners of beer. THE FOOD always great, but nothing can beat the staff's great customer service. The atmosphere is typical of a pub, people are friendly, too.

I did a walk through yesterday for future events and this venue was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The only thing I was a bit confused at was the fact that if you have a restaurant for over 20 people why is it that there is only 1 toilet that is closer to the restaurant area. If you are busting you would have to go through the pokies area or sports bar to access the 5-6 stalls available over 10-15m away from the general food area. Other than that its a great family restaurant to eat and or dine at. Well done ! Look forward to dining in the future. Will update my review as I will come and visit again to eat.

I would highly recommend this well updated romantic restaurant & bistro to those who desire a great relaxation taste of quality to spend some quality time with your angel (wife).

We had the camembert, spicy wings, a steak sandwich and a rib fillet steak. The wings and camembert were nice, however unfortunately the steak sandwich lacked flavour, and the steak tasted microwaved. My husbands whisky also had a strange taste to it, like it had been mixed with something.

The service was amazing and the food only better. Atmosphere is lovely as well and the cleanliness of the venue made it all the more enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back

Daniel is such a excellent worker love it.

This place is awesome! Food is well priced and is a bloody good feed, and if you are lucky enough to get served by Daniel it tops off an already 5 star performance! We were only planning on coming once while on holiday, but had to come back again.... It was just as good the second time.

We joined the staff at Chatswood tavern for Christmas lunch with family. It was delicious, awesome food great company and wonderful atmosphere.

Nice and quiet bar, decent priced.

Came for dinner last Thursday with a friend who is a local as I was visiting from Melbourne and whilst I wasn't expecting anything amazing, the meal- I had a sirloin steak and my friend had barramundi. The steak was undercooked , the salad not fresh and the chips clearly had been heated and reheated definitely not fresh. The atmosphere, was the worst experience I have had. Kids running around the dining area totally unsupervised by their parents who clearly had little or no respect for other guests trying to enjoy their meal and conversation. I don't eat at pubs that often either but have had better pub meals, elsewhere.

Can’t recommend this venue enough, the dedication especially to the locals Xmas function was beyond expectations. Moreso, to the girls, you both are absolute gems!

The locals Christmas party was an absolute amazing event. The seafood was fresh and the other nibbles they put on were great I couldn’t fault it. The venue manager and the the girls behind the bar did a fantastic job in setting this up. Shout out to Eric the venue manager, girls that took care of us!

Sunday night staff get - together was ably catered for by our fun host Daniel . Plenty of care and concern for our orders , timing and satisfaction. Despite it being December bustling season at hotels the Chatty provides a laid back, clean and professional ambience. Thank you all and Daniel.

Quiet Tavern to spend a few hours there, not a lot of pokies if your looking for them, though meals are quite reasonable.
