Great little club!

Fantastic. The service was excellent. Staff were respectful and I had a good conversation with a few. Food was delicious and prices were reasonable. Additionally membership costs little to nothing compared to the money I saved by getting membership deals. Place is under renovation and I have heard excellent things about the nearly completed areas. Atmosphere was welcoming as families with the kids were getting together or the oldies getting a drink. Fantastic place. Can't wait to see the renovated place. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a casual place to eat dinner.

Place is being renovated and the food was actually not bad for a shabby place. Kids meal comes with an ice cream or jelly cup for $13. Drinks are separate and the membership costs $5 annually which you could get back over dinner. Looking forward to seeing the newly renovated place.

Used to be a great place. What they've done to the greens are shameful. Over-priced beverages and food has really gone downhill. Definitely won't be back.

Anzac Day at Sporties was wonderful. Thank you Sarah McMahon and your team. Beautiful food and outstanding service as always. Thanks also to the bar staff who were efficient, friendly and working flat out. Our party - aged 78 down to nine - had the loveliest day as we remembered those who served their country.

Great casual place for food & drinks

Good food at pub prices .

Our local for many years but bistro prices have become too expensive for a simple club with basic atmosphere. $17 for a Caesar salad, $29 for a chicken parmi, oof!

If they check the win percentage of people using the smart card they will probably ban the pokies

Food was average good. Place was large and clean. Service behind the bar was good. But definitely not the floor manager. Abrupt, unsympathetic and not willing to listen even less to help. I mentioned this to a few people in the group that do come here, and was told that they knew how unhelpful he was (that's not the words used, but I am keeping the comment clean) I will not be back. Heck no!

We had dinner here last night and was absolutely shocked that a can of Fanta was $6!!! We also ordered the satay chicken skewers and pad see ew both $26 each. For that amount of money you would at least expect a decent amount of chicken. They were 4 of the smallest skewers - not even totalling more than 1 whole chicken thigh fillet, along with what tasted a microwaved rice bowl and 4 slices of cucumber. Pad see ew was slightly better but still on the small side for $26. Please try and do better Sporties and consider your value for money for your visitors

Not too busy, Specious. Food was good too! 👍🏻 The special menu on Tuesday is Rump Steak 🥩🍽️ for $18.00 (only with Chips and Salad) If you change the side option, extra $5.00. It wasn’t the best, but still good! Safe for Kids. Clean toilet and Clean & Comfortable changing room. Definitely, I’ll come back! 👍🏻

Perfect for a midweek pub feed. Steaks always cooked perfect, cheap, staff are friendly and beers always cold. Only problem is the pokies don't pay out as often 😁

Lawn Bowling has ceased here but still a local club for drinks, pub style meals and a meeting venue. They have approved plans for a childrens playground and expanded entertainment area plus more onsite parking. As of May 2023 this work is still to commence.

Delicious food& great service

Mothers Day my family had lunch there. The food was beautiful the service fantastic, staff very helpful and friendly. Sat outside on long tables listening to the two men singing etc. The club supplied a bag with a bottle of wine, pump hand soap and couple of chocolates for every mum in the club. Thank you to the staff for making our day so special we are so impressed.

Had the Tuesday steak special. Best value meal and steak cooked perfectly. Dessert was generous and served with ice cream. Great to share. Service is a little slow for the dessert.

This is a great example of a business pivoting and making the best of the space they have. They have converted the old bowling greens to a great outside dining and drinking area. It looks like plans are afoot to even put in a playground! Checkout the retro jukebox, grab some fish and chips and have a cold drink in the sun!

Sarah and the functions team at Gladesville Sporties are amazing! third time I have had an event there this year, they are so lovely and accommodating! highly recommend the team here! thanks for making every event so stress free. legends!

Great food, great staff, great day out

Sporties is a small club and the people are very welcoming. You don’t feel like you in someone else’s place. The trivia night is fun.

Excellent venue, great craic and service. I will be back!

Good food and not too crowded

It was raining during the day so the function I attended was changed to indoors. I think this place would be a nice place to relax outside when the weather is nice & when the green is in a nicer state. Food is regular old pub style. It’s good for big groups & family friendly.

Love tuesday steak night and locals atmosphere but not so sure about some of the edited new changes. Sad the bowling greens are in state they are.....

Food is next level good, especially the schnitzel. Only problem for me is their wine is mediocre at best. I'd bring my own if I could. I suppose it is good for me because I never drink too much wine there for fear of my own health. The wine they serve must have terrible chemicals in it or something. If they improve the wine I'll upgrade to 5 stars. Everything else is great.

Food average, beer cold , what it looks like is what you get

Sadly since this club changed CEO and chef, the place has gone rapidly downhill. One bad decision after another has seen it turn from a thriving local club to a wasteland of desperate locals and disappointed visitors. 😣

Great local place to gather. Happy place for to run around. But I don't get the toilets... The cubical scare frosted glass, so you can see and get a faurly graphic idea of who is in there and what they might be going. I just don't get that design decision.
