Cant remember last time I asked questions and they were answered with knowledge , the young lady knew her stuff confidence inspiring for buyers
Great Service, friendly staff.
It's my local Harvey Norman store which makes it easy to get to. But the main thing is never had any problem getting a park here. Also great for people who don't like running all over the place to shop. Only bought a phone this time but a little while ago I ordered some vinyl flooring, carpet a bed and some furniture to put on the flooring and a tv to put on the wall all in one visit.
I rarely leave reviews but i had an absolutely disgraceful experience with Harvey Norman furniture department. Received a damaged lounge and the whole process to return and to receive my money back was disgraceful.
We went into store looking for a stick vacum. We were seved by Tom vacum area and he was excellant. He asked questions and showed us what he thought would be good for us. It was nice to be srved by someone that knows the products they selling. Thankyou Tom for great service.
The younger staff were very friendly and helpful. Appreciated their efforts but when the manager stepped in he was so arrogant and overbearing. Turned me off. Will never visit Harvey Norman Ipswich again 😒
We want to share our memorable experience at Harvey Norman Booval. A kind employee noticed our 3-year-old, Colton, and shared that he’d been waiting for the perfect moment to give away a remote-control car—and he chose Colton! The joy on his face was priceless. We regret not catching the employees name but please let him know we are incredibly grateful for his generosity and kindness! Thank you for making his day and for giving our son such a wonderful surprise 🥰
You’d think a proprietor of the furniture section would know how to talk to customers and not be a cretin for no reason. Basic questions about a product gets a narky response? You know it’s bad when their staff have to apologise on their managers behalf. Get a grip.
Really disappointed with the follow up and customer service shown by the electrical small goods staff at the Harvey Norman store, Booval, QLD. I have been waiting three months for an order, have phoned up at least six times during that time about this with several excuses for the delay. There were no return calls made to me at any time, despite being told on at least three occasions someone would be in contact. The final straw today was being answered by a salesperson who was disinterested and dismissive. I just ordered the product from the Good Guys 30 minutes ago and it’s ready to be picked up. I’d recommend your Team focus on quality customer service before profit or you won’t be seeing much of the latter.

I needed a new fridge/freezer. I did lots of research but I was not sure what I wanted.After having looked elsewhere, I found the new hybrid fridge/freezer, so I went to HN and I was given great service and advice, so I made my purchase there for 2. Delivery was very reasonable, as I live over an hour from Booval. The most wonderful thing was that I could get delivery the next day. Ordered and paid 1:30 pm one day, delivered 11 am next day. As arranged my old fridge was put where I wanted it, as I did not want it taken away. Highly recommend HN Booval, and their delivery guys! I’m loving my Hi Sense hybrid fridge and freezer, separate units. ❤️

Absolutely bloody pathetic. If I could give 0 star review would. I went to Harvey Norman Booval to return a faulty computers product and receive a refund. I was told that I was unable to receive a refund because I did not purchase it from this specific store. This is a flat lie and simply an excuse for the proprietor to get away with not loosing money unnecessarily. The only reason I have been told to return to the original Harvey Norman store is because it is in driving distance (over an hour). If I was not in driving distance they would have to refund me. It is part of their refund policy and Australia consumer law. This Harvey Norman computers department is an absolute disgrace.

Good products and speed for click and collect, unfortunately had to double-check the product ordered as they gave me a lower (inferior) model. They have not acknowledged this error by way of apology, so take care when purchasing as the putting right isn’t done with any humility on their part. Be careful when buying from electronics from this store.

The electronic division are brilliant. Doug is my go to in all things[or he knows a guy to help]. We have had multiple purchases all being successful with us very happy. Got help to sort phone issues that really were not their issue. High praise and thanks.

Ordered and paid online, collection 48 hours later was no problem. Verification Emails made it simple and easy.
We have been here to buy a number of items over the past few years. All ways been great yesterday on the other hand not so great. The sales lady ( I hope she was new ) had no idea about the product she was selling
I work at a local business and had a query about the warranty. A lovely young lady assisted me. Taylor was so helpful, if I could give more than 5 stars for her bubbly personality and her great service I would. 10/10.

Wanted to buy a few electrical items. After waiting around the items and making eye contact with staff, no one assisted. Stock was not on shelf to be able to self serve. Staff were talking to each other or scrolling through the internet. Won’t be back. Back to JB

After being incredibly let down by The Good Guys down the road, we walked into the Booval store and approached Tony who was nothing but helpful and sympathetic. His professionalism and compassion to help us was outstanding. We are very happy with our purchase and interaction experience in this store. 😀
A very helpful young lad, unfortunately they didn't have the model I was looking for.
And they did it again. Bought a TV under 4 month ago and it's not working. Someone would think that would be just a straight swap for a new one. No of course not. Waiting a week for tcl to ring after I did all the self checks only to tell me I have to sit in front of it. Then It gets fixed by a technician who knows when. And what do I have product care for. Don't waste your money on it. I had a claim for an oven but was declined because it had rust. Well if it has then its a bad product anyway. Ask harvey norman to get a manger to ring 3 times but nothing. I dont even know why we keep on going back. Let's hope we learned.our lesson now

Mark from Techbay wad absolutely AWESOME!!! Great guy, nothing was too much hassle and just really wanted to help. This professional makes the warranty repair process a breeze. Even after coming back the next day because we forgot to back up some passwords, Mark was happy to Unpack the box that was ready for shipment and let us download what we need. He was an absolute gentleman and made me feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely shop at Harvey Norman Booval from now on, even if I have to drive 30 minutes to get there. The team are so nice and helpful. Thank you Mark.
On talking with a female reception staff, was told the manager would give me the same answer, she was right, both were rude and showed no compassion or understanding, after selling me a product I didn't need, I have purchased many products from this store and to be treated this way is ridiculous, I even said I would except a store credit, but no nothing, very disappointed. Telling the manager he had lost a customer, also others that I tell, Losing Customers, wake up.

They need to be more like bws. That's was I call quick and easy. I would only use click and collect again if they paid me to do it.
Paid for a vacuum on Boxing Day, was told by three different employees that the vacuum was on back order and that if we ever wanted a refund we could call and get it anytime, went in today on the 8th Feb and the manager REFUSED to return OUR money after being told we could, absolutely pathetic and rubbish service, typical lies and scams that they have done to others that I’ve heard about, make sure if you purchase anything here you have it in writing because the employees lie through their teeth
Friendly, helpful staff on floor. But giving you one star after the my experience with your Old Storeman. Yes, it was at closing time, but was told it was ok to receive stock by floor staff. As long as I hurried. Was met with anger and swearing by older Storeman. Tried to explain I was on crutches and trying my best to hurry. Younger Storeman was extremely helpful and apologetic for the Old Storeman. First time buying with you and my last.

Get a phone call it's not in stock and will let me know when. After I complained get told the TV is discontinued and I will get a refund..Took them 3 weeks and me complaining to get this response. No alternative product or solution. The person that phoned me was not helpful or friendly. It seemed a chore to have to deal with me. I have always been a HN supporter but this branch has made me look at other options. Very poor

Purchased a 2 Samsung Z Fold 4 12 months ago, sold at the time Mobile Refresh at $250 per phone. Was told at the time that if the phone was damaged it could be replaced for a nominal fee, basically insurance for the phone. Last week went into the store with my receipt to discuss replacement to be told it only covers screen replacement. Advised by the 2IC that Samsung would charge to fix the hinges. Requested a call back from the owner of the store Ned, to date nothing. Never again will I venture into a Harvey Norman store, not even to purchase my Jura coffee machine cleaning items. Poor service. poor staff and poor ownership. REALLY DON’T BOTHER WITH THIS STORE FOR ANY PURCHASES…
