Pack of wayne kerz. Very rude with a well to do attitude. Unfortunately the only place to purchase a drink during a certain time.

The queuing system needs work here. Abit of a push your way through and hope you get bar staff attention. I get it, crowd sizes vary but some type of herding would help

Disappointing service from the security staff, specifically the female. First time at Star, last time I was there it was Jupiters. The glassies kept removing our unusued prosecco glasses and then when we bought a second bottle of prosecco the bar staff member took the bucket and never returned it. It was situated just behind the counter while our bottle continued to warm. I reached over to get it and was promptly threatened to be thrown out by the bully security woman. Obvioulsy she was blind to the gathering of young aggressive males obviously high in the booth and the rude woman on the dancefloor who was unprovoked by my happily dancing husband, when she verbally abused him for his 'nice coat'. What a dogdy, seedy bar full of bad characters. Won't be back.

Super dodgy vibe - not clean (all the tables were super dirty) and scary people. The drinks were also extremely expensive - 2 vodka sodas for $23

I loved my GC Ginger with Burly Gin. You need to try the Best Gin on the Coast.

Such a great bar but unfortunately really bad cocktails. Tried to drink them (long island tea and a margarita) but tasted liked salt and lemon. Didn’t want to offend the bar staff so drank what we could but decided to just ask to replace with a beer instead when we couldn’t drink anymore. Bar staff told us they couldn’t do anything as we had drank more than a sip…. Had to suck up the $45 we spent on them. Steer clear of cocktails, just order beers 👍🏻

Justin /Erwin has to be the worst bartender I’ve ever seen. I had to ask him to make my French martini again because I believed it wasn’t up to the standard and price of the Star (please see pic below). He angrily started making a new one saying there was nothing wrong with it and the second one was even worse..i could not even taste the supposed 30 mls of sky in that half empty looking martini glass that looked like someone already had had a Sip from it. Zero styling an not worth what they charged me. Total rip off! Just order wine and beer from this people as it seems to be the only thing they can manage to pour. Service was just embarrassing.

Ask for a negroni, can't serve you because they don't make cocktails. Yet they serve gin tonics and espresso martinis? lol awesome Bartender tells you off for leaning on the bar to have a conversation. Tells you to go away... no people in line. lol awesome

Ashamed to find out that I couldn’t buy an Australian white wine at this major Australian venue. Surely we can do better!!

Came to the cherry bar Thursday night for drinks the vibes were amazing and the service was even better Hannah was amazing the whole night 11/10

Really nice layout and position on the casino floor. Cool cage booths to sit in. Staff were friendly and prompt. Interesting cocktail menu to chose from and vast variety of spirits. Decent beers on tap. Cherry was the only bar open on the Tuesday night I visited but it was nice to kick back and enjoy a drink there.

2nd time I’ve been ripped off by bartenders at Cherry. Ordered 1 bottle of Veuve Cliquot (supposed to be priced at $146), and was charged over $400 — bartender did not state total before tapping card, nor offer a receipt. Once I confronted staff about it when I saw the transaction on my Amex app, they pretended it was a mistake and that they accidentally charged me for a magnum, but the price for a magnum isn’t even $400. After trying to get the charge refunded, the bar staff wanted to argue about what I was showing them on my Amex app, claiming the charge was from a different bar in the casino, which it was not. 😡

What started out as a pleasant evening quickly turned into disgust when the staff kept increasing the volume of the music so you had to shout at the other person to be heard. The male staff were arrogant and an indian supervisor. Won't go back there.

Great staff, fun environment, great drinks. Served by a guy named Levi and had great service all night, very fast, friendly and attentive... I will definitely be going back!
