I order the steak special being Thursday night and my porterhouse steak was an inch thick and cooked perfectly. Had a great chargrilled flavour and melted in my mouth! Order veggies as well and they were delicious too! Price wise it was good! Would highly recommend food!

Wow. What a great place to eat. Staff were friendly and polite. Food was amazing. Roast Beef was delicious, plenty of gravy and veg was hot.

First of all, I never give 5 stars, but lets discuss the Prince Albert Hotel in Gawler; 1. The food. Really good, chefs provided prompt service and gave us a decent portion of food (view my salt and pepper main squid below $21 GF) for the price we paid. Meal was warm, properly cooked and well presented. 2. Service, we were served by a young lady today that seemed inexperienced. We askes to confirm if the chips were gluten free when I ordered my GF Salt and pepper squid as it said chips were apart of it. Couldn't get an answer. As well as other gaps in confirming our meals. 3. Facilities, we didn't use the bathrooms, but the tables were clean, and stacked with what we needed for a meal. Good work Prince Albert Hotel

Order the PA Steak, Food was good but was charged an additional $8 to swap salad over to veggies. First time I’ve had that happen at ANY restaurant/pub. Only had one lady serving at the front that wasn’t able to serve alcohol so we had to wait a while for someone else to help us

Best pub in Gawler by far for meals not that the others offer much competition especially the disgrace across the road! Food is awesome and decently priced with plenty of seating. Meals didn't take long to come out and were a very decent serving size

One of the prettiest places I have been to with many different areas to donye in comfort. Staff were all super friendly, prices were great and food was delicious. Thank you

Very country pub style and feel. Staff were friendly and the food was good. Beef snitty, Grilled Chicken pesto burger and a Carbonara with Fettuccine..with starters and drinks it totalled $128. Very enjoyable evening.

Pretty rude waitress staff, as a retail worker myself I would never behave how she did. The girl with the long brown hair and plates, maybe be a little nicer? You made me feel bad for saying hi, asking, for a menu even. I hate to be a karen like this, just so so mean.

We waited almost an hour for our breakfast, it was partly cold, bacon not cooked. Then 45min later were told to hurry up because the next sitting was coming in. Never again.

I love going here as the food is always so yummy and the staff are so friendly and happy I can sit out in the beer garden with my dogs And they have healthy dog treats at the bar some the dogs don't miss out

Had a delicious lunch with friends

This afternoon between 3.30 and 3 45pm, the bar person wanted to serve me a drink in the same glass. I asked her for a clean glass because it's against the law to do this. She moanes and complained. Bad customer service as a representative of the business. In the 15 minutes I was there, I noticed her not sanitising her hands and handling all services and things in and around the bar. To my amazement, she used her dirty hands and fingers to handle the fork part customers eat food from on each fork as she was setting up cutlery. This practice could get the owners in trouble, lawsuits and loss of licence. This was just in 15 minutes.....bad practices that can harm people in the community. Can the owners please fix this problem as this person is a liability to their business.

Even though it was a Thursday night steak special, it was the worse steak I have ever had in my life... and I have had some pretty bad steaks. When I informed 2 staff of how bad the steak was, I was offered a free drink. I declined the offer as I was driving. Dont think I will be going back there in a hurry.

The food and service was brilliant.

Amazing food. Lots of gluten free options. Lovely friendly staff. Lots of different areas to sit, including a children's area with games. Highly recommend.

Edit,since my first review Ur group has gone there many times and still exceptionally good service. They are aware of our needs and nothing is too much trouble for them Cannot speak more highly of this pub. Needed to take a group, without notice, and they not only accommodated us with a friendly attitude and helpful manner, they made sure our area was set up and appropriate for our needs. We have now been a couple of times there and they have a children's room, clean facilities, staff who are welcoming and a menu which is worth perusing . For a pub meal it is fresh, tasty and very pleasing to the eye. And mouth 👄👄👄 Very impressed.

Nice little place to eat at!! Made a brownie up as a birthday treat for my little one it had a candle and happy birthday on the plate. Food was tasty!!!

We had a great lunch there And thanks for we were able too sit outside as we had our little dog with us.

Had breakfast with two of my favourite people... it was great and the decor and music were on theme!

We had a very lovely dinner at the pub / cafe. We sat a table with off chairs from the 80s. Food portioning was generous and good value. We tried the beef roast, salt and pepper squid, fish and chips, and chicken snitizel. Nothing fancy but really nice.

Had a great reunion lunch at PA today. Fantastic.

The steak was overcooked, which was disappointing however the Pollo Avocado was amazing and the schnitzel huge.

Hotel with retro charm. Staff are amazing! They have been very accommodating to the group who attend regular coffee mornings here. Fabulous staff, always friendly and smiling. Even when there is a power outage, the PAH team are super amazing at getting orders out once power was restored. Meals have been tasty, look amazing and well priced. Love the cake and coffee deal... the scones are served with a generous topping of jam & cream... delicious 😋 Highly recommend the Prince Albert Hotel. Staff ⭐x10 Food ⭐x10 Atmosphere ⭐x10
