Sunday afternoon your got open mic you kidding kiwi ruling put on live music

We came here for lunch on a week day and we were very impressed. We had salmon and non alcoholic drink for a fair price. It was incredibly not too salty, the way that I like it. The ambience is very nice and the chairs quite comfortable. It wasn't busy when we went but I believe during the night and weekends it will be a different story. The bar staff was excellent, very polite.

1st time at the Diggers & Sports Club today & what an amazing experience. We were a group of 5 greeted by a helpful & friendly receptionist, ordered drinks & meals from the bar maid dito... our meals all different & brought to the table by waitress Holly (once again a credit to your establishment) were nothing but outstanding. A1 team we will be back & thanks for a great experience.

I’m a former concierge of the Hilton Hotel in Melbourne and would train front office staff around the hotel industry and I wouldn’t have to spend to much times with her and all can see a great future for her as she’s a people person which is badly needed these days! Both my husband and I had lunch today we ordered chicken snitches and it was Diabolical who batters and deep fried them bloody awful meal

Nice club with friendly staff especially the lady on the front desk. We just made the kitchen cutoff at 7:59 and they’re assured us they were able to accomodate us

Great for families, especially with the family meal deal. Food was delicious, service was fast and friendly. Lots of space, a relaxed place to dine.

Just here for lunch today and had the $15 lunch meals which were very nice. Pictured is the fish and chips, and the steak sandwich. Bar staff were okay ish but maybe step up the friendliness a little bit as we were obviously tourists with our hats and backpacks etc. 4.2 Stars

it's very friendly cozy club in the heart of the surfers. bit hard to find entry from street.it's upstairs of the building. bistro is not segregated from bar area, can be a bit of concern if you go with young kids late at night. but food was pretty good. we had family dinner meal deal that's valid everyday of the week, steak, burger or salad, 2kids meals n jug of soft drink for flat 49 dollars even for non-members that was very good deal. my steak was very nice. if we knew would've gone on wed for 15 dollars steak special day- but thursday pasta day looked good too.

Used to be a great venue Until I read that you will not be providing the courtesy bus from 31st October 2024. I have personally filled out a complaint form and asked for a Directors of the club to ring me . and they still haven’t called me back after a week!! I will never return… .

Was a good time with my best friend. Environment is really good.

Loved this club, staff friendly and drinks cold. Dinner was delicious. Whe we visit the Gold Coast again we will be visiting again.

Great freindly RSL club, if your looking for cheap drinks and a meal this is your place for younger ones before you go out. For everyone else a live band and raffles on a Saturday night.

Went to this club after a great night out to have a play on the pokies. I was playing a machine that was not reserved at the time when l was told that l playing that machine.l told him l had just put $50 in the machine he replied no you didn't he had a mate with him an both seem to be intoxicated so l left with my partner and l will not be returning this club it is a absolute joke when we try to support the club.

Went here for lunch on Friday 19th July, ordered the 250GR steak special one rare & one Medium, both were way over done the rare was well & the Medium was beyond leather, the chips had been cooked in old oil and the pepper sauce was bitter I couldnt eat it, had high expectations but it was terrible & the waiter could have cared less - very dissapointing experience & would never go back or recommend

A fun place to visit despite being hidden away a little. Service is great food is good 👍 our friends won a raffle prize too.

Saw INXS tribute band excellent a d and venue v good Good security

It's pretty tired looking inside, but there is always a good band playing 70's and later covers on a Friday night.

Went last night to the INXS tribute show. I was apprehensive as past visits for music have had terrible sound quality but tonight they moved the music upstairs and wow what a difference it made. The sound was not bouncing of the wood as has happened down stairs Also shout out to Rozie, I couldn't find my tickets the night before so sent an inquiry. Rozie ensured my tickets were printed for me to pick up on the way home from work. Will be coming back for more shows for sure.

We attended the inxs tribute show it was great and entertaining keep them happening

Great rsl with live music & raffles, dance floor for the kids, kids meal were of great value , menu is what you would expect from a rsl with reasonable prices, chicken Parma was good, pepper sauce delicious, my partner had the rib fillet steak , this was unfortunately underwhelming & she didn’t finish what was a small piece of meat, would definitely return just for the great atmosphere

The food is real value for money, and the bar is stocked what ever you want to drink, so my advice is to go and check it out as it's a very nice place to visit.

Meh, parmis are half the size that you would expect. Kids nuggets were good, teriyaki bowl was also good. Not really worth the effort. You'll have better luck elsewhere I reckon.

Lovely club

I returned here after about a year. I found this place accidently the first time and was stoked to discover the real RSL feel right on the GC. It's less rushed here and you can actually have a conversation with your friends and enjoy great tasting meals with generous portions that are reasonably priced and pretty quick to the table. They run raffles and member games which add to the occasion and they're so close to the beach it's great! You don't need to be a member to eat or drink, but members do get a discount and membership is only $5. Staff are lovely and the security guy getting down to the live band was fun to watch. The band was also really good. I'd recommend popping in pretty much any time. It's got a great vibe, is clean and people are nice.

Service horrible! Food no taste or flavour so disgusting and disappointed. Price and quality definitely are not in the same level. Drinks not good enough aswell def never come back to this place.

Hidden gem, great value meals, great staff, clean facilities. $15 lunches on weekdays outstanding value for a family. We did dinner and lunch here and could not fault anything. Great family environment.

I had my 60th birthday here on the 18th November 2023. I highly recommend this beautiful Venue for any occasion the staff the atmosphere were absolutely amazing. I would definitely come back here. Thanyou so much.
