A security guard seen me out front asked for id and then denied entry he says it was all fall up and I wouldn't allow me entry what a joke of a place. I'm 39 years age.

My husband and I are regulars and members at the RSL, unfortunately l have to say the meals have not been there usual standard, l ordered fish and the meal l was served was packet fish and l could not find the fish beneath the crumb. I spoke with the lovely manager and she took my plate and gave me a full refund, l would have been happy if l received what l ordered

Attended a solemn Remembrance Day service, 11/11/24. The tranquility was a blessing in contrast to the hustle and bustle of Glenroy Rd. The children from Corpus Christi Catholic primary performed the National Anthem with grace and poise. A student also led us in the recitation of The Lord's Prayer. Thank you goes out to the staff who also looked after the children with drinks and food. God bless our returned service men and women. You have done our country proud. Lest We Forget.

Great seniors meal at $20 for potato soup, bangers and mash and pavlova. Good sized serves quickly delivered hot to the table. Fantastic value and drinks at bar prices.

Family night out. Staff were very courteous, meals tasty well cooked on time and very generous portions. Drinks reasonable and all handy to our friends home.

Went on a Thursday night for the Parma Specials. Parmas were $20. Tasted great and generous servings.

Dinner tonight ordered scotch fillet well done No blood. Delivered not cooked and full of fat asked to cook again her reply ” more cooking or info !!! How can u undo a cooked steak. Anyhow came back the only thing got copied was the chips. Paid $37 could not eat the steak so paid good money for nothing. The worst was the staff did not apologise or offer anything in exchange . So that was our last time here for food as there restaurant staff dont care and dont know How to smile. Shame on u. We dont bland the R S L as the restaurant is separate but we will not recommend the food.

Absolutely pathetic seating arrangements at the Glenroy RSL last Saturday night at Australian Beatlez show. We booked for 15 four months ago. We turned up Saturday night bistro booking not right then into the show to be told NO ALLOCATED SEATING was available. Our group of 15 had to sit at four different tables sharing with strangers!!!!!!! Why bother to book. Assistant manager pathetic no apology and extremely disappointed indeed. Never going back there again ever. Totally unacceptable indeed 😡

This morning I went to your venue to enjoy an early morning session on the pokies and have a coffee with a friend. I asked for another coffee, but because I was sitting in the foyer with my friend I was denied a cup of coffee. I am a paying member and regularly spend thousands of dollars at your venue Only to be told that I can't have a coffee. It's the way that I was ignored by the staff, in fact it was Mel, Head Huncho behind the scenes. I have found her on many occasions at the venue very rude and non friendly to the patrons. She could have been nice and come up to me and said well we can make you a coffee if you stay in the gaming area. No none of that but a threat to say We'll call the police on you. That's It! You've lost me as a member and a paying patron of you venue. In fact I won't be endorsing any RSL Venue Ever for they are robbing people blind in your venues anyway. The Govt is making a fortune and so are you venues. After the treatment that I received today I will Never Step into your Venues Ever.

Food excellent customer service excellent

Bloody amazing pool table in good condition. Very interesting war memorabilia and historical nuggets. Chicken Parma in the bistro for $28 was reasonably sized and tasty. Asked for chips and salad, no salad was brought out. Had to ask again and got a small ramikin bowl. Totally would go again just for a few games of pool and a quiet beverage.

I travelled an hour and 15 minutes from the other side of town to have lunch with 3 dear friends. I do have a crazy sense of humour, and I have to commend the gentleman behind the cash register, Scott, for having a wonderful sense of humour and playing along with me. I had a lovely seniors meal with vegetables, and I asked for one chip only I repeat, ONE CHIP ONLY on top of my fish 😜 It’s a mind game I play with myself. I really just want to taste of a chip but not the whole serve. I kept a straight face and he was quite taking it back initially to make a long story short, one of the wait staff came to our table, and presented me with my coffee as was ordered and the other three got their drinks, and then next next to mycoffee came one entree plate with a heart drawn on it with tomato sauce, and one chip. This man made my day. Scott you have a wonderful sense of humour, and you have left me with , happy memories of Glenroy RSL. I told my Friends I was happy to come back there again. You have pretty good staff there, treasure them and treat them well. Now where do I insert a photo?

Back to there today. And looks everything improved. Foods is great. Staffs nice. 👍🏻 maybe that is the reason all tables is full. I spent 1 hours there. And all tables refill as soon as people finished meals and left. 🙂🙂🙂

Chicken parma was surprisingly good, the curry on curry night was also tasty but feel the serve feels quite small in comparison. Atmosphere is standard RSL, the security guard was really nice and friendly as were most of the staff. The small crowd gathering in the entrance were an interesting bunch but it wouldn't keep me from coming back

Has gone downhill rapidly, called on the 22nd of April to book a table for 3 for the 12th of May. Arrived at midday, no table booked. Waiting in line from 1205 to order a meal, still waiting at 1225. A customer waiting in line was asked to pay $1 for an extra bread roll, for a Senior too by the way. Walked out at 1226, won't be back.

Our Family attended Mothers Day, the Service excellent, venue great, Food brilliant, thanks to all staff and especially the Chef’s, also not to mention great value

Glenroy RSL and it’s staff need to understand it’s significance for Anzac Eve . Every year I ask to put the TV on seven for the mcg ceremony and tigers demons game Anzac Eve . I just get blank stares . The staff need to be trained about the Anzac story . So I just went home from the bar area disappointed now at 7.15 pm . I attended the November 11 ceremony at this RSL I am respectful of the diggers . The staff don’t understand the significance of the social and community expectations of RSL culture.

Excellent meal and service

I go here once or twice every trip i have to Glenroy to visit family. The food is good value for money fresh a good size serve and always hot out of the kitchen. This RSL is probably one of the best I've been too. Staff go over and above to help anyone who needs special assistance.

Good value, courtesy bus was on time, perhaps a clean was scheduled, table was reserved, food was generous for the price, discounted wine for members, overall a little noisy and somewhat cramped with people lining up to order dinner.

Maybe your chef needs to learn about all the different seafood that he serves. Menu stated Lobseter on Saturday night, yet I received 1 1/2 Morten Bay Bugs. Mentioned it to the lady when I received my meal and she just laughed and walked off. Not an explanation or anything...
