Had a wonderful day, great food & service. Tried the sports bar for something different. Sports bar manager Scott, was amazing. Will definitely go again.

Catching up with friends for lunch. Sat up in the high table and chair area. Lunch Menu was ok. I ordered the burger and fries. Not the normal order for me, did present well and thick chips were nice. A good sized meat burger inside even lasted to last bite. A new staff member behind the bar a delight a very pleasant young man. Cheers to him. My husband really enjoyed the Barramundi fish it had an Asian fusion to it with Bok choy and I think Soba noodles. Thankyou all.

yummy steak frites, went rare, was cooked to perfection - i also ordered veg on the side (though didn't need the extra veg, was more than enough food + greens were served with main). love that it's not an overly dude-y pub either (or at least wasn't this day, a sunday afternoon). wasn't overwhelmingly noisy either. keen to go back again!

Bar staff especially the younger blokes could be more customer focussed and get drinks out instead of fooling around and chatting amongst themselves.

This hotel recently won an award for their food. We have been there a number of times and had some great meals until today! We ordered the waygu burger and steak fritte. The burger was huge and so dry you couldn't eat it. The steak was dry and well done even though we asked for medium. Both tasted like the meat had been souvide beforehand and flashed on a grill before serving. Both lacking in flavour. The chips however were great. The most disappointing thing was that we mentioned to the waiter that we weren't happy with the burger and so did the customers in the booth next to us within minutes of each other yet it seems that it was totally ignored 🙁 very disappointed

Our group had Xmas lunch here, food was good, environment had good feel, can be very noisy due to large amount of people.

I didn’t stay there (didn’t know you could) but I did eat dinner there. A bit weak on vege options, and the one I chose was not great: too much fake cheese and not enough actual flavour. But it’s a pub , so what did I expect? Better, I suppose, in this day and age. It’s not hard to throw some V2 burgers in the freezer. My meal (one of three) also arrived well after others. My friends were halfway through their meals before I started. Disappointing.

Although I had mistakenly made the booking for Wednesday instead of Tuesday. They accommodated us. They said they were expecting a big turnout of people but it'll be no problem in seating us which I thought was very nice of them. When I saw the lineup of people waiting to be seated and the people outside the door I thought were on a winner here, and I was not wrong. The food was melt in the mouth. The atmosphere was amazing. People enjoying the food, talking. The waitress and the drink staff came over quite often asking us how the meal was going. Enjoying the meal. Would you like a drink? We'll bring your drinks over to you. When I found out it was a Duxton pub. I told my group that I was with, I said even better. We all agreed we will be coming back. Actually I'm going to make a booking tomorrow for January. It was a full size meal. Thorougly enjoyed it.

Family Dinner, great service, awesome staff.

Dinner on a Friday night with friends. The food was good. Service was average. Maybe a couple more staff are needed. Waiting to order drinks & food took a bit long. Was especially noisy. Unable to have a conversation without yelling. Background music needed to be turned down. I'm not sure how they won Best Hotel in SA 2023 , then best this year

The staff and the food were excellent. It's great to find a place that has brilliant customer service professional staff who are accommodating and friendly. I haven't been here for a while and now I feel like I've been missing out. I'll be back again soon for dinner.

Went there for dinner, staff were wonderful and friendly. Typical pub food nothing special.

Terrific experience at the Cremorne. My colleague and I dined for lunch and ordered four small plates, including the dips, Japanese inspired chicken with sesame, truffle arancini and dumplings with miso. The food looked great and tasted delicious! Good speedy service in a recently refurbished and light and airy bistro. I highly recommend the Cremorne and will be back....soon!

Seafood smelt old. Very floury. Would i recommend it no. You ask about the atmosphere but there was nothing. Had to ask for hand wash for bathroom as there was none. How sad.

Steak was lovely - veggies were better than the steak tbh (potato was average though). Would recommend making booking for a Friday - however we easily got a seat in the sports bar.

Friendly staff but the low rating is due to the inedible meal I had. The fried chicken burger was revolting. The chicken was full of tendons and the meat that was there had no flavour. The bacon on the burger was so undercooked it was almost raw. I left hungry and disappointed. The dining area is nice, but it was so noisy my whole party left with ringing ears! Far quieter in the lounge and bar areas.

We had a lovely lunch. The menu is good. The service was excellent and the food excellent and good size meals.

Food was nice

Dropped in late Sunday for lunch. Great that they have all day dining on Sat & Sun. Service was excellent, nothing too much trouble. Chicken parmi was really good with a really nice salad and chippies were good too. Reasonably priced given the way things are these days. Will definitely be back. Really good atmosphere.

We went to the dining room for a birthday dinner. The service from the staff was outstanding. They were attentive without being intrusive and, despite the fact that it was very busy, nothing was too much trouble. We had a couple of small issues with our meals, which were rectified immediately. Being told ‘we just want you to leave full and happy’ was very sweet. The food was delicious and the wines we had with it were enjoyable. We had a fabulous evening and will definitely be back.

First time eating here. Amazing staff, great atmosphere, and food

Last time I came here the food was really good and gave a good rating, however this time around it was dismal. I chose the special which comprised of Sirloin which was cooked well, but could only eat less than 50% of it as there was too much fat and gristle, there was supposed to be portabello mushrooms which I didn't get, then the potato gratin was absolutely vile with these small lumps of fatty bacon throughout which were not rendered, then for some reason Chef has put on the plate beans, broccoli and bokchoy with Asian flavours. There were no cohesive flavours, it was just a dish of disaster.

Great pub for a work lunch

Nice venue and it was reasonably busy, but we didn't have to wait long for service. The food was yummy and reasonably priced. Pity the outdoor heaters didn't all work!

Here for a private function, was blown away by our meal there, even burgers etc looked great, staff were fantastic , another place I’d definitely have a meal at , and well done to the chefs you all do an exceptional meal

We had a foster carers thank you lunch here at the weekend. The food was absolutely fantastic, the staff were enthusiastic and smiling. The space is really beautiful. Will definitely be returning! Thanks very much :)

High quality. Extensive range of good pub food in a modern fitted out, open plan, older building. Plenty of parking at the rear. Wide selection of beers on tap.

The menu was great. It was so hard to decide, but I had the slow cooked lamb shoulder, and it was delicious 😋 The main dining area was noisy, but the area dining area was fine.

We went with a group of friends and ate in the dining room, which was almost full. The food was excellent, as was the service. It was very noisy, but it was a Saturday night.
