The manager legitimately just tried to gaslight me into admitting I had 20c instead of $200 after winning on the machines. I have video of it and will be taking further action. The security guard was super aggressive but did eventually try to de-escalate the situation after knowing he was being recorded. I was payed out but I wonder how many people aren't.

Since it opened, the Hinterland Hotel has been my go-to watering hole after a long day of hard yakka. For me, Gim has always been a huge part of what turns this public house into a home; always so welcoming, friendly and efficient.

Called in for a quick lunch. Super busy but quick service, with a smile. I had the karage bao buns, holy moly YUM! Hubby inhaled the steak sammich. No chance for a photo!

Worst meal I've ever had steak was bleeding alll over the plate when I ordered medium well garlic sauce was so over powering I couldn't even swallow it and they serve their 30 dollar meals with packet mash potato. Then when asking for refund not one apology just silence and rudeness. Not happy

We had a family gathering for my daughter’s 3rd birthday, the food was generous and really yummy. I have to mention Jess, who was so attentive and kind. When we arrived balloons had been put on the table and sparklers added to her cake. To some, these small acts may seem insignificant, but to us the little details made our night. My daughter managed to let go of the balloons and they went up to the ceiling, and Jess found a way to get them down for her. We had a great time, thanks for a lovely service.

Wanting to put up a lovely review about the way I was served and welcomed this morning. As soon as I got there I got a very nice good morning welcome from management Rashan, to then be served by a very well mannered happy lady named Sammi at the bar. I couldn’t have been happier with the way I was served by her. Very fast and efficient and greeted all customers with a smile and fun personality. Thank you for making my experience here a great one. Your typical pub, beer was cold and they sell jugs .They really do need to put anti slip strips on the entrance tiles , they are lethal, even before beers.

Chef is lazy and clearly doesn’t care about their work. Ordered grilled barramundi which came full of scales. Wait staff were lovely and asked if I would like a new piece cooked to which I said yes. She bring it back 2 mins later, it’s the same tiny piece with the skin removed. My partner had the steak sandwich which was pathetically put together the bun wasn’t toasted and was basically a stale bit of bread. The steak was grissley, bacon was raw and one tiny piece of lettuce and one slither of “caramelised onion” chips were barely cooked. An awfully presented meal on both accounts. No consideration was taken to putting these on a plate or cooking them properly. Unfortunately this is the 3rd visit hoping it would get better, will definitely be our last.

The food was delicious but the way it was served disappointed us. My advice is don't order entre and mains together on the app as we got everything all at once. This meant we had to choose to eat the mains first leaving the entre to go cold. Needs better coordination in the kitchen which was a shame as what they deliver is quality food. The flathead was delicious along with the ratatouille.

This accommodation was great comfortable, clean, great meals. The reason I gave a 1 was we were woken at 7.05 am with lawnmower, whipper snipping and blower vac. I have stayed I lots of hotel/motels but never the lawns done at this time.
