Staff are either service oriented or off with the fairies! Can't believe the difference!
Bought a few things online for click and collect. The staff was friendly and collecting the items was a breeze.
The best place for all your entertainment needs
I went with my father to buy an iPhone, the sales person Julian, was incredible. Julian's product knowledge is astounding. The interaction with myself and my father, who is in his late seventies was excellent. I have worked for an Apple reseller and my father isn't into the technically side of phones yet Julian comfortably spoke to both of us without over confusing the experience. Holly at the register was such a pleasure to assist in the purchase. Excellent store.
Was picking up a purchase at this store and encountered a wonderful experience with the staff member. It's a pity that I didn't get her name but the lady was absolutely wonderful, friendly and very helpful.
Had an awesome experience today getting served by Isaac. He was amazing from the beginning helping me decide what product to go with, full of conversation and knowledge. The group of us had a laugh, it was fantastic! Thanks Jedi 😊
I got to say, I was really disappointed with the after sales service from this store. Is it that hard to provide a customer with some service, instead of just telling them sorry can't help you but I can sell you a new one. I bought a pair of Bose Quite comfort over ear headphones less than 7 months ago. The ear cushion has totally split open and they are unusable with out them, as they provide the cushioning between the headphones and the ear. I took it to JB Pakenham where I purchased them from, the store manager (Liz) and one other store member informed me that this part was a consumable item, there for not covered by warrant, even though they did not run it through SOLVE UP, which they are meant to do for warranty claims. They further added that the item was only meant to last 3 or so months and that they could sell me a replacement part. They also directed me to call Bose and if they gave me an RA (return authority) that they could replace it that way, I guess we can't expect much after sales service these days. However when I spoke to Bose customer service, who were amazing, they said they recommended that the par be replaced yearly, as there was a certain expectation for the part to perform, give proper care. Make sure you ask all the right question before you buy from this store, as you will be left with a disappointing experience if you don't. I included some pictures to show what has occurred and that the parts are in near new condition, apart from the split, as I have taken care of them.
Friendly welcome as you walk in. But more staff at the back of the shop where you have to go for nearly everything would have been good. But all the staff I spoke to were all very helpful and friendly. It was a very hot day, and the staff deserved more having to work in that heat. Portable air blowers didn't really help unless you're working in front of them.

Joe was AMAZING!! Had an issue with an item that was meant to be held.. Joe sorted out the problem with patience and exceptional customer service! This store is not local to us but I would absolutely return again knowing the expertise provided by Joe. Great work!!
Specifically asked staff for a receipt with name and address, after I paid for the goods I was informed my request was not possible and the initial staff member passed me on to a manager and claimed my request was only for a name on the receipt. The attitude from management was quite clear that the customer is always wrong, very poor service and I refuse to return to this particular store.
I purchased an Oppo A80 phone in November and got a new data deal. Jayden from the Pakenham store served me and he was polite and very efficient in my dealings with him. Yesterday 19th December I took my phone back to him as I had a problem with the phone not connecting to my square D, home and work laptop. I asked for Jayden and he remembered me and Jayden listened to my issue and he was extremely understanding and supportive. he , along with a fellow named Jeff rectified my problem with the phone. It took them nearly 40 minutes to do so. I was wrapt with the after sales service the lads gave me.

I was served by Hunter. He was really nice and displayed an excellent level of professionalism and customer service. He helped me find the right products that suited my needs. Even though they were understaffed on a very hot day, he wasn't impatient and was really approachable.
Yesterday I spoke to a lovely staff member named Jeff who was so incredibly helpful and kind. He went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed (a laptop charger) at the best price at the store. Please look after him - it’s rare to find people like him in customer service. Far exceeds the expectations you would have of a local JB. Store is on par with many of those found in large, busy shopping complexes both in size and range. Has just about something for everyone and has everything you could possibly expect them to. Staff are excellent with quite a few offering the kind of service that makes them memorable, but the gents that service gaming reign supreme. It is not uncommon to recieve 10 or 15 minutes personal time and conversation with no promise of a sale just to ensure you recieve the best information or leave satisfied. We even had our Switch looked at (and the problem accurately determined) just to help us out. It's the type of service that ensures you return and brings in business. The kids have even gotten the odd treat when they have been with us. If I closed my eyes, spun around and pointed, I'd likely land on something that I have purchased from here over the years. They have given me great deals, and often gone a little better or price matched when asked. I couldn't imagine going elsewhere first for anything that could be sold here, except in the case of certain preorders where the bonuses might have been a little better elsewhere (but that's been rare). I also can't imagine this place being a secret and most already know where to go. But in the rare circumstances you haven't been here yet, ensure to go here next time you have a reason to. Or for anything minorly related to gaming. Make an excuse if you have to. You won't regret it.
ACCC will handle this Rude customer…. They refused to take my laptop back… it was in original packaging and I never used it. They don’t want it back. And they even refused to talk to me. If they don’t take it back I will contact ACCC this is my right.. policy return 30 days changed of mind. I wanna return it.

Rude staff particularly the asian guy. Everyone was busy and distant. Should have bought it online. Unhappy with the service as it happened twice me in store.
Some of the best service we have received. Went in to buy a new apple I Phone and were fortunate enough to be served by a lady by the name of Carly, what we saw is what we got, easy to talk to no BS and extremely pleasant. It got better when we paid for our purchase and were served by Susie (hope I have the name right) another good scout that made our shopping experience great. Well done these people 👍👍

I'm not sure why anyone would buy from this mob. Every time I've had to deal with them , they consistently attempt to denie customers their consumer rights. They make false claims that jb terms supersede those under law. And they consistently make false and misleading representations regarding express manufacturer warranty. No wonder Accc are on there backs.

Ryan made the exchange of a faulty monitor much quicker and easier than I would have anticipated. Despite the store being busy with weekend shoppers, I was assisted very promptly. The store had another in stock, and I was able to have my issue resolved same day. Thanks!
Josh was very helpful and patient explaining the ins and outs of security cameras. Went back later to purchase but as Josh was on a break Jayden kindly helped and made sure Josh took credit for the sale. Very impressed.

Best JB hi-fi experience we have ever had. All of the staff are so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. And a huge shoutout to Ryan! We were looking for a new TV and Ryan was amazing at informing us of the different options available and we even found a TV that we loved so Ryan was able to help knock it down to a price that was more within our budget. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. If you are ever in JB hi-fi in Pakenham, I would highly recommend speaking with Ryan. We also returned the day later to quickly pick up an audio cable and despite it being 10mins before closing time, a staff member (I unfortunately didn’t catch his name) took time to explain to us all of our different options and what they would all mean for our audio experience. He was so friendly and he really knew his stuff! After these experiences, JB hi-fi Pakenham will definitely be our go to store for any of our electronics and appliance needs.

Just been to the store and asked for some assistance from Burke, who was very unhelpful in spite of him not being busy. There was also 3 other men just chatting also unable to help. The assistant lady at the cash desk was most pleasant and helpful. Come on guys lift your game!!!
Remember when you used to go into a JB and you'd need to swat staff away like flies as you'd get 4+ ppl ask if you needed help while walking around the store? Not here. Staff standing around with earphones in ignoring you. Was looking to get a PS5 and peripherals but I guess I'll go elsewhere.

Amazing customer service from Jose. Despite coming in just before closing, the staff still made me feel genuinely welcome. Jose walked me through all the available options and answered any questions I had regarding my inquiry. Great guy that knows his stuff. It’s always a good experience at Jb Hi-Fi Pakenham.
Changing my review from positive to negative after 6 years. Just not recommended at all to anyone this jb hi fi store. Just avoid it to save your lovely day. 🙏

Staff need more training specially checkout counter. They doesn’t know how to swap or return product's.
Ordered high end computer and there was problems with supplier, however manager Dylan and Sascha both went above and beyond to rectify and find a great solution. Absolute top level customer service starting from sales team member Emen, who had great knowledge on the device, all the way up to Dylan who I believe is a fantastic manager. Great communication and personal skills and turned what could have been a frustrating turn of events into something that made me feel like a VIP. I have been shopping at this store for years and this will obviously continue. I could not more highly recommend the team that works here. Thanks team.

I’m really disappointed with the service I received from a visit to upgrade to a new phone at this store last Sat. I didn’t get told that I had to apply for the trade in credit to then be able to get a voucher but instead I ended up spending the value of the voucher on accessories for the new phone and was fobbed off to square trade who are JB’s trade in mob to get the voucher after I’d already purchased the accessories. So now I have a voucher and have spent the $ and are double out of pocket. I won’t be doing this again with JB which is sad cause the previous experience was great. Better communication and advice would have been helpful, esp from Ryan and James

Service is ordinary at best, I think if you are over 60 you are almost invisible.

Had a great experience purchasing a new phone yesterday. After having lost my other one there was a few processes to be followed in doing this and despite visiting the store later in the day the staff were all very helpful and were up for a chat and a laugh.
Honestly was my favourite place to shop during lockdown. If your order was place during business hours you could have bet your bottom dollar you were going to get a notification that your order was ready to pickup before you had time to do anything else. It was definitely the most dependable relationship I had in lockdown 😆 Since then I have been in many times and the staff or always so helpful. I am the type of person who will ask all the possible questions there are to be asked. I like to understand things, I also don’t always catch on and they have always been so patient and kind to explain in ways I can understand. They’re all so friendly and amazing here. Thank you ☺️
Efficient and helpful
My partner & I brought a fridge a while back, which turned out to be faulty. We dealt with a bloke named Joe and He was fantastic. A HUGE huge thankyou for fast, prompt & wonderful service on his behalf and for going above and beyond for us and getting our replacement Fridge sorted only a few days before Christmas. Understanding this is the busiest time of year for all retail workers, He put us first with a smile on his face. We had issues with the fridge manufacturers, but Joe got it sorted in no time. So many companies these days do not care and push you to the back of the list, Joe did the complete opposite. This guy needs a pay rise! Thankyou again, we will be back.

Recently wanted to exchange my new tv to upgrade. After being dealt with poorly and essentially shooed away from an employee at chadstone location, Andy from Pakenham was 10/10 to deal with. Flawless from start to finish and was great help. Can’t thank Andy and the guys at Pakenham enough!
It is a standard JBHiFi. Big. Plenty of parking. Easy to find. And close to Officeworks and Bunnings, so a triple win
Easy access to car park. Very clean store and everything is marked with the correct tickets. Great discounts Amazing staff with great customer service and knowledge of the products within the store.
Very disappointing, considering that upon you initial first purchase they quick at selling you plans and warrenties but as soon as you need their assistance, especially if a product is not working for you, no support is given, instead they take no responsibility or care to assist you on how or what route to take, certainly not making any other purchases there for anything

Will never purchase from this company again.Your assistant yesterday was rude,unhelpful and had zero customer service skills. He misled my elderly disabled father into thinking data could not be retrieved from his phone or transferred to a new one.When I pointed out that it's usually part of the service,his answer was that would take me about an hour and I'm not doing that.Interesting,because I had to interrupt his conversation with the security guard on the door to get him to serve us.He wasn't doing anything anyway.
Thanks for the TV chap who knew his stuff, happy to pay for a $2k tv and have it delivered for another $100. Wouldve been 5 star service, except... At the same time I also paid for a phone charger that was accidently left at the counter due to us being shifted along to deal with a $100 gift card, and so we forgot to collect it. Go in the next day thinking it would be a simple pick up. Explained myself, they couldnt see it at the counter, so rang out the back in case someone took it out there. Even though there were another 10 of them on the shelf about 2m away, I had to stand there for a good 10 minutes, started to feel like a thief, asked what was happening, told to wait some more, ended up walking out without one again, determined not to ever spend another cent here. But my wife wasnt happy so she goes in there to hit them up, had to wait another 10 minutes while they treat her like a thief too, going out the back to review the footage from the night before (Oh yes they did!) So, she would've seen what actually happened and still came out, laughing about it, not apologising and just got her a ripped open one off the shelf. Once, I went on a good customer service course, and Lesson 101 dictates that if someone buys a $2000 TV, let alone has spent approx $25k in there over the last 5 years (couldve been checked on their system with the receipt I gave them), and then drives 15 minutes to return there and shows you a receipt for a $2129 and explains what happened, you definitely dont treat them like thieves. Have a quick look at the counter, and if you cant find it, get another off the shelf straight away and apologise for the misunderstanding. Where has the common sense gone nowadays? The loss of loyal customer and likely tens of thousands dollars of more sales, over a $29 phone charger, well done to that manager!
