Great little local club. Tai Chi class every Tuesday night.

Had a delicious surf & turf at the Bistro at Padstow RSL. The medium rare sirloin was cooked perfectly, the prawns and sauce plus the salad were also well prepared and yummy! Thank you Chef Brendan and the Bistro team. Teresa

Was the worst food I’ve ever had, the entree came out with everything our order was wrong, the coleslaw was grey, the burger was soggy and the steak was very chewy and uncooked vegetables. The food was like a country pub in the middle of no way but I rather that than this. Do not recommend at all save your money. Definitely need an upgrade.

Chicken schnitzel was excellent good size servings Coffee girls were great had a lot of patience with the ladies ordering different coffees

One of the few RSLs which have not been taken over by gambling, but which nevertheless offers a nice modern bar, a great restaurant, and friendly clientele and staff.

Great little club, friendly efficient staff, get some great bands in the auditorium too!

Went back for lunch today and had another lovely meal of fish and chips and salad. Lovely! Just had a delicious steak and chips! Beautiful!

Nice little club

Very average meal……..disappointing to say the least. If I am paying for a meal I would expect it to be fresh and tasty……not happy…..even the lettuce was brown!

Went for lunch after church. Shared a supreme pizza, big enough for 2 people.

Had lunch with my old mum and my sister, the food was beautiful and cheap. Seems to be run by a family, courteous and polite . I will definitely go back

Went for dinner on a Friday night. Kids got burgers. Wife and I got the salmon bowl and falafel bowl. Kids demolished their burgers. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with our bowls. Good portions, fresh ingredients and the flavor; WOW. We couldn’t fault either bowl. In fact they were that good, I forgot to take a photo to add to my review. We’ll be going back for more, and to take photos.

Went to the Ham raffles on Friday night 1/12/2023! Our first time visiting the club and wow what fantastic service from all the staff! The food was AMAZING highly enjoy our meals! Very beautifully presented and the taste was amazing! The staff were all very kind and friendly. We will definitely be back!

We went on a Friday night for dinner, Drag queen bingo & cocktails. We went to the bistro ( very small) to order. When asking questions to the person taking your orders & about sizes , can we put entrees into mains. He said I don't know. Didn't even offer to go find out. Pour customer service. The pizza someone offered was the worst ever. Only ate one 🍕 slice. We told the waitress & she just laughed. Then the club promoted a cocktail for the night on Facebook so we went to the bar so they said that they have never heard of it I said it's advertised. Then finally another bar staff went to ask. Told us on in the bingo bar. Why not advertise this & info your staff. Then onto the desert. Another joke The bar staff pulled out still in the box that it arrived in said there is your choice, I don't know what any of them are. He pulled them out with his hands to show. No washing hands or tongs, gloves. We did order a cocktail which took about 15 mins to make. Which it was nice best put of the night. Drag Queen bingo we have done many else where. This was absolutely to worst ever. So slow & drawn out. The drag queens just kept talking rubbish & not many in the room where insteaded. They made it a very long night not enjoyable. We do enjoy Drag bingo but not this time . This club needs to pick up their game, staffing knowledge, hygiene.

Terrible dinner

As Padstow locals, we visited for the first time last night to experience Drag Bingo. The young gentleman on reception was so friendly & welcoming and signed us up to the free membership. His service was truly outstanding. The Drag Queens were so talented and so much fun and although we didn't walk away with a bingo win, we were thoroughly entertained. Food and drinks were tasty and affordable (albeit a 40 minute wait for meals). The cocktails were absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced. The rump steak and southern fried chicken burger were both so flavoursome, some of the best we've had. All in all, a great night out at a little local find. We'll be back!

I visited padstow for an event I didn't eat from the Cafe tho the food looked good and prices seemed fair the bar was great good prices nice selection and friendly staff

Wow what a little gem of a club excellent food and people an atmosphere

First time here with a family group of 15 on a Sunday afternoon to meet up with family members visiting from overseas. Ordered food at bar??? Wasn’t told that they would be cooking / serving our meals one by one… took an hour to get all the meals out . Can I say it was the worst club food I’ve ever eaten. The snitzel was awful, the seafood basket overcooked. Service with a smile would have been nice but actually , if we had of been told that there was no bistro / restaurant open we would have probably gone somewhere else. Very disappointed and must say of all the clubs I have been too , never have I experienced that before.

First time I went here and only been once. Front desk staff were GREAT, welcomed us and helped with signing in and becoming a member. Bistro staff were GREAT, warm and welcoming to everyone, providing table service. Bar staff were GREAT, and I was surprised how they helped me bring my families drinks to the table, (bit of a walk), so it was GREAT that they helped me. Every single staff was warm, welcoming and helpful. So thankyou to all the GREAT staff for a GREAT night. There is also other events on, raffles or bingos. Ultimately the feel and vibe of this place makes it a GREAT place to take your GREAT grandmother for lunch. (I recommend signing up for membership as it’s free and it brings down the cost of the food a little, a family of 4 should save around $8 by becoming a member).

I have enjoyed the RSL as a visitor when seeing family in the area. Best value for family catchups

Anzac day was understandably busy, though not much going on apart from a busy bar. They did have two up in the auditorium. Great place for adults, not too family oriented, unfortunately, i had my three kids with me. Left after a couple of drinks.

Lesson definitely learnt. I thought I’d give them another go after my raw chicken schnitzel incident a few months ago, we’ll let me tell you …. that was a mistake. Ordered prawn hargow, they were raw (prawns were still grey in colour inside) and still cold in the middle. They replaced them with new ones and they were still awful, mushy and did not taste nice so did not eat them, won’t eat there again.

The Padstow RSL was a very nice place. The food was very good and the service was exceptional as well. I highly recommend it.

Quiet club friendly staff. Food = horrible

Food was meh, $28 for a piece of salmon and 3 potatoes that were stirred around in some potato salad dressing. Underwhelming to say the least. Flavours were okay, portions Ridiculous.
