Great meals. Staff helpful. Good atmosphere. Will go again

Bit of a unknown or hidden gem. Locals probably know all about it but I have driven past hundreds of times in last 10-15 years and never been here. Currently undertaking some renovations but still open. Large off street car park. Nice and clean and tidy. Spacious and airy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Just had a drink and a gamble. Small to mid size venue. Well lit and spaced out. Didn't get any food as it was too hot. Will be having another look in the future

Awesome staff and great food and coffee

I eat at the restaurant with friends from time to time. From the outset, I want to speak very highly overall of the venue and staff, but due to the number of people that attend dinner on some nights, the kitchen is clearly under the pump. I have had 2 cheeseburger meals now that were NOT cooked through (the meat patty was raw and mush). I reported this the first time, and it was replaced, but the next time I ordered it, the meat patty was again raw and just mush. I haven't ordered it again. So, I now order the chicken souvlaki, which is very nice, but it has also been bordering on raw at times - not good to have slimey semi-raw chicken. I get it, the kitchen gets really, really busy, but please be a little less in a rush to get the orders out to ensure the food is cooked through. To be fair, the presentation is excellent and I don't believe this is systematic with every meal, but a few minutes longer to wait is fine by me, and if done, it will keep me coming back. Generally, I believe the majority of patrons would be happy with the food.

Every visit to Middle Green never disappoints. The Staff are super friendly, helpful and always make time for a chat.A family friendly atmosphere, and relaxing. The menu options suit everyone, and is great value. The food is always fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. My wife and I just renewed our membership, and will be making Middle Green our go to local. Love You Guys, see you next time.

Good spot for a pub feed, generally not too busy and not overly expensive.

Good Sports Club. Excellent meals and service set in great surroundings. Great atmosphere. Menu is better every month. Now a giant pork cutlet with delicious honey mustard sauce. Real yummy.

Haven’t been here since I played footy for the raiders as a young fella. Food and atmosphere were great.I have ordered steak from so many restaurants and been disappointed. Middle green signature steak was the best steak I have ordered from an establishment ever so far. Well done chef. 🙌

We’ve been coming here for years now. The new staff are lovely. Kerry was learning, but did a great job taking our orders. Getting drinks of any kind was unfortunately disappointing. The person who took drink orders (behind the bar) was either new or just didn’t want to be at work. The meal was nice and came out in a timely manner and hot. We do recommend for a family gathering with a decent meal.

On the 6th of July I had a booking for my 18th birthday dinner at middle green. The staff catered to our table efficiently and timely and were very friendly. Chloe served me at the bar and was fantastic!

Ally rose was a FANTABULOUS server, so fun, easy to talk too and was awesome with memorising chef specials

Had dinner tonight with my partner here for the first time. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, a rare mixup happened with our table booking and they went above and beyond for us. Atmosphere was amazing, it was quiet and cozy, we could have a conversation without having to shout, there was some club rugby going on so had some entertainment. The tables were big with comfortable chairs and well spaced apart. Really clean and tidy. We were blown away by the food. Price is excellent for the quality and portion size. It felt like we were eating a lovely homecooked meal while being presented like a restaurant you’d find out in the city. Taste was amazing, really fresh and hot, and it also came out really fast which was impressive. Drinks made in front of you like a proper bar and again, great price. All in all we had a fantastic time, we didn’t really want to leave and we were heavily considering the dessert menu, but were just too full in the end. Thanks so much for a fantastic dining experience, 10/10

Great little hidden Gem! Great meals and the service was fantastic. Loved the giant big screen out the back for the footy! Looking forward to going back on a cold night to check out the huge fireplace.

The meal was lovely and the staff were also very nice, especially Alley-Rose who was our waitress. Atmosphere was good also!

Paul and Neil always provide friendly and exceptional service. The big breakfast is BIG and delicious. I miss the bangers and mash though 😃

Had lunch for my wife's birthday, just the two of us. Schnitzel was deep fried but still tasted ok. The salad dressing was amongst the best we've tasted.

Very good, Pub food with Seniors specials on the Menu. I enjoyed the Silverside for seniors . My brother in law ordered a fillet steak, whither he devoured with relish. It's good to see management visibly active on the floor without being intrusive.

We've driven past Middle Green for years and never thought to go in. Now we have we'll definitely go back. The food is good and if you become a member, you get a discount . The staff are friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Ally-Rose who took good care of us last night and was just lovely. Friendly and helpful. Give the girl a raise. Lived here for 3 years and finally went and tried out the Middle Green for date Night. Was a lovely clean, spacious club. Will be back.

First visit. Dropped in for drinks and to join up as a member. Nice atmosphere and lovely staff. Got over charged after joining up and was told it was too late to fix it. Thought they might have given me an extended membership or something to compensate for the error. Will return though for food next time.

The staff are so lovely but the food needs improvement. I organised a lunch with friends and family and nobody enjoyed their meal. Everything tasted store bought and reheated.

Absolutely amazing. The steak is cooked so well. Have been a few times now and they haven't let me down yet. Highly recommend. Great fed and the creamy ale is amazing too. Will be returning. Staff are super friendly too.

Wow the food was amazing

Was very cold and all inside tables full. Our lovely waitress offered to move us to a table near a heater which was much better. The food was pretty good. Steaks were over done but still tender enough to eat and great flavour. Our waitress was very friendly and the only staff member we encountered that was smiling and making eye contact. We are not members but will consider it next time we visit.

Went there to have lunch, the old guy was nice but the female manager that was on Sunday was rude. I won’t be back unless she is gone or told to change her attitude

Middle Green is the perfect escape to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, great food and drinks. The staff are friendly and made us feel very welcome.

I tried the chefs special, crispy chicken and Singapore noodles. Requested it to be spicy and it was the bomb. Loved it.

Terrible service and food.$49 for a “signature” rib eye steak which was ordered medium rare and served medium well with no refund offered because I had tried to eat some of it. Tall man behind the bar was rude and ignorant. Not enjoyable at all. For the price charged I would have expected better. Will never go there again and will go out of my way to tell people not to dine there. Ever.
