Besides having a very good bistro there is a great Cafe that you can get snacks and coffees, morning, noon and night We have often pulled in for coffees at 10 pm to just cap a lovely evening elsewhere. And you can get Afternoon tea at 3 or 4 pm without being told they are cleaning the machine! Yes! Melbourne cafes are totally missing the afternoon tea concept!

Service and staff was first class. Food was delicious, lovely atmosphere. Enjoyed it that much, we went back a second time before we left.

We had the pleasure of lunching in the Restaurant on Wednesday 26th February. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. The Roast of the Day was Pork..with crackling and a very generous serve, and the Chicken Parma's were moist and tasty. We will be back soon.

Great place, the service is excellent, I am also proud that you are hiring Mature staff. The food is good, I had a seniors Pacific chicken but unfortunately it was a very small piece the plate had more chips than chicken also the chips were cold. The desert can improve also the carrot cake and the tiramisu were both very dry.

MCC - a fantastic group of staff, always very welcoming and accommodating. Meals are awesome, value for money. I would recommended MCC for any occasion - Tuesday's Pot and Parma - I had the bushman's parma, yum!

Delicious food with an extensive lunch menu and excellent service. Generous portion sizes and a convenient suburban location. The friendly staff were genuinely delighted to serve. The pavlova was delightful, but the coffee was truly outstanding!

Excellent service, fabulous food. The chicken Parma was delicious. Steak cooked just right and seasoned well. Atmosphere very good, easy to have a conversation over dinner.

My wife and I joined as social members about 3 years ago after taking our family to your Christmas lunch. That is now our family tradition! We use both the Bistro and Cafe on a regular basis and often bring friends. No one has ever been disappointed with the great food, friendly service and value for money in a safe and relaxing environment. It’s absolutely disgusting that pokies are the biggest point of attention on your sign outside. Everything else is in tiny font in comparison. The pokie machines are also visible from the road. In some states, that’s illegal. It’s not illegal here, but it certainly is unethical!!! Anybody who is okay with taking advantage of serious and life-altering addictions should take a good, hard look at themselves and make some changes. It’s disgusting.

Fabulous lunch celebrating my dad's 94th Birthday. Meals are big, prices are great and sooo much to choose from. Drink prices are great too. Our party of 16 had a fantastic 3 hours of celebrating our Dad (Poppy)

Saturday night we had a beautiful meal, and the waitress staff were beautiful But very disgruntled how the matri d was speaking to his staff. It was borderline bullying.

Nice outdoor al fresco area to sit and enjoy a snack and drink. Yet, still be able to enjoy the fresh air without being in direct sun. The receptionist was very nice when signing in, and the snack / coffee salesperson was very pleasant, welcoming, and engaged in social chit-chat with my friend and myself.

Real meat used in the pies, but need to charge less for the food. Compare to frozen pies your food is too expensive.

Great food . Really kind and friendly staff. Very much like the past where the customer is always right which is rare to find nowadays. Visit the tab there frequently and the staff there are excellent. Cannot recommend them enough.

Service was perfect and the beautiful dishes were served within a reasonable time. Atmosphere was beautiful with no loud music or television blasting away.

We had lunch with friends for a 78th Birthday. All meals were nice except for one, the steak had a tasteless flavour....my friend said....

I like the atmosphere here, which is its only redeeming quality on this visit. The sign in experience was the beginning of a downhill run. I was pushed aside as I was about to sign in, by a staff member no less, who rudely told me she needed it. Food was below average as my grilled fish looked and tasted as though it was covered in an eggy goop. Service was average, and if anyone smiled, I missed it! So disappointing!

Had a lovely lunch with some old work colleagues. We had a choice of ordering from the Cafe or Bistro and we could place our order in one place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Thankyou for being very accommodating keep up the great work.

Great atmosphere, lots of facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Senior food may be a bit price compared to near by places, but if you are a member, you get 1 free monthly drink, and on your birthday, you get a birthday voucher. Good gaming facilities. Innovative weekly activities, eg. Bingo games, parma night, yoga classes, trivia night, live music on some Fridays, shows and morning melodies. Great place to meet friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

Good Seniors steak

Food is a tad more expensive than other pubs but can't fault it. Seniors deal is $19.95 for 3 courses and meals are not too small. Wheelchairs fit better under the table too.

The Mulgrave country club never disappoints. Always a great vibe on a Friday night, especially the playground for the kids and not to mention the raffle. The food is delicious and the Staff are always so welcoming and friendly!!

Friday night busy but quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Dinner was crispy pork belly, Paella, Snapper, Ceaser salad and Lambs Fry with Bacon and gravy. Didn't wait too long from ordering to serving. Being a Member helps with pricing and Seniors get discount during the week. All members of the group were happy with their dishes. Pokies too. Staff were friendly.

The bistro middle eastern lamb for $37 was not only expensive but very disappointing. Cold unseasoned tablespoon of cous cous with meat and very little else. Should have went with food out by the lawn bowls.

There are deep cultural issues at play here, and I don’t expect any quick fixes. Take the President’s reserved parking spot by the lift entrance—it's a relic of 1980s showboating, reflecting misplaced priorities. The staff lacks hospitality training and understanding of customer dining experience. Ordering a meal is a cumbersome process, and their systems are neither intuitive nor user-friendly. The food itself is basic, unexciting, and poor value compared to nearby options. While some staff are making an effort, which I appreciate, the venue's charm is the only positive. As a local club serving the community, urgent improvements in food and service are needed. If you're not prepared to make those changes, then it may be time to hand over the reins to someone who will.

What a disappointment .. group of 10 Sunday buffet. Most stated with mussels on lice of the thirty opened nothing or a thin string of something inside calamari overcooked so very chewy, roast pork ok, roast beef you needed a steak knife to cut and very sharp teeth and along time to chew Salads were good , but we did not pay that sought of money to eat salad
