Really terrible service which is a shame, the food here gave me food poisoning for days & the drinks were incredibly overpriced. The security guard was also very unpleasant.

The great northern in here is absolutely rancid. We have told bar staff easy 15 times and let them smell our beer and they agree it’s horrible, but nothing has been done to fix problems. Can’t go back here.

Patrick was a great host, no request was a drama for him. Room was comfortable and quiet even with the large amount Christmas party’s happening at the pub. Great pub

Neat Lil pub. Enjoy a house scotch on the rocks whilst I enjoyed a slap on the gaming machines. Cant say the machines payed me a cent out of 200 cash I put through them however the grand jackpot are some of the lowest amounts I've seen in a long while there so I wouldn't expect that the machines would paymuch for that fact. Nice place however in the quieter hours of the morning 🌄 great staff and friendly and inviting venue.

Was told to leave after bouncer requested a form of ID as a 31 year old. Said a photo of the ID would be fine even though that’s not a legally valid ID to accept. Covered in tattoos. Felt like a homophobic bias to push us out. Completely uncalled for attitude.

Don't go to bars much, went to prince of wales with friends to watch UFC 302. Jack at the bar was a great bloke and muhummad in the kitchen knows how to cook, some of the best bar food I've ever had, atmosphere was pretty good as well. Will have to come back when ufc or another fighting sport is on.

Entering this place gives the real truthful vibe of the pub as they provide me with great-quality of services, especially when it comes to serving the alcohol. Do love how they show the responsibility of serving the alcoholic drinks to me. Such a great attitude of the employee, especially the supervisor. Cheers to the drink

Really nice place to go for food and drinks!

Pokie venue mainly. Quick service, low-priced drinks, smoking area to sit and interact with others, particularly with friends/regulars. Other patrons friendly enough. Bouncers to ward off less savoury characters. Pool table available in front bar before it closes early evening.

Came in with my partner to get some chips and a drink, partner doesn't drink alcohol, was denied entry due to them not having their ID on them even though they have a clear face tattoo, I had my ID and we weren't trying to enter the gaming area or purchase alcohol for my clearly overage partner. First time this has happened here or any other pub I have been to and definitely put a sour taste in my mouth for returning to the prince of Wales.

It is a great place it has a pool table, pokies, pinball machine & some great sports memorabilia.

The blokes that work here are top notch 👌

Was a local here and can’t believe how poorly run this bar is. Horrible food. Overcharges customers. Aggressive and physically abusive security, and yet somehow always full of druggies dealing in the bathrooms? Take one look at their messy graffiti paint job and you know exactly what to expect. Hope they change ownership soon!

Still a Pub with a Pub atmosphere. There are the usual one armed bandits with great security!

Loads of entertainment live sports to arcade games darts and pool table. If pokies is your thing there is a Verity of the latest games.i It's a complete modern day pub good place to catch up for a beer and watch the latest pay per view events.

Didn't try the food but will next time.

Awesome food great atmosphere

Popped over to Melbourne for a concert and looked for a classic pub to have a couple pre drinks and my partner and I were greeted by Fernando who was extremely welcoming. We turned up at happy hour so the drinks were very well priced. Pub had a really good vibe and we had a cheeky slap and that turned into a good win. Free food, cheap drinks, good music and friendly staff. Great pub, would absolutely visit again if we go back to the area.

Service is good, very good, but there is still room for improvement. Burger is fine, philly cheese is okay, chips are not so good. Lots of room for improvement in this matter. Atmosphere is very nive, big screens, good price, good live music on wednesday.

It's a pub that has improved itself since the Reno. Quick service and good prices.

Such a better pub since the refurb. Forget what it used to be like it's interior and clientele are completely different now.

Came here to watch the ufc and was absolutely accommodated to the fullest. Staff made a table inside and was checking always to make sure our every request was fulfilled. Lovely place will definitely be coming back again

If you want a place where everything just works out, you want to head to the Prince Of Wales. Sanj I have to give extra credit, she knows how to pour any cocktail your heart desires! I can not fault the customer service here! As Sanj puts it, “here at Prince of Wales, we aim to please” We’ll definitely be back!!

The drinks were hella nice, place was clean and well-kept and the music was great! Easy to reach and find with friendly staff. Staff Was a wonderful night out!

Had the tenessee burger, the burger itself is nice, however the bun or the bread just falls apart while eating, with a better bun, such as a traditional brioche would make that a great burger. Also friendly staff

Prince of Wales has undergone the biggest 180 from what it used to be, place is up and about and the staff are so upbeat and genuinely excited to have you as a guest. Food quality is also a genuine surprise.

Uncomfortable. Do not be deceived by the trendy outside and the aesthetically pleasing interior. The design of the menu is absolutely horrific and just trying to look cool and as for the contents of the menu itself: I would recommend going there for a drink with mates and bet your savings away (don’t do that please) but as for eating in I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND to go there if you want an outing with friends or family, there are scarce amount of food and not a large variety except burgers and snagz.
