The Queen’s Slipper brand is synonymous with playing cards. For almost 100 years, it has been an Australian family entertainment tradition, renowned for its high-quality, distinctively Australian range of casino slip playing cards. History
The Queen’s Slipper brand was developed by Tom Johnson Hudson in 1919. Tom partnered with a tradesman printer named Hogan, and together they formed a printing company in Carlton, Melbourne, called H&H Printing Company Pty Ltd. In the 1930s, their partnership dissolved, and Tom registered the name Hudson Industries Pty Ltd, operating in the old Fire Brigade Building on Rathdowne Street.
In 1936, Tom’s son, Philip Martin Hudson, joined the company. Together, they created the best manufacturing plant for playing cards in Australia. Today, Queen’s Slipper Cards continue to be printed in Australia, upholding a century-old tradition of product excellence.

Played these cards as a kid with mum, dad and the rest of us especially when camping. Endless hours of simple, good fun. Now years later have always kept a couple of packs of Queen's Slipper playing cards in the home, never used any other brand, never will.
