Do not order food using a QR code. It takes an hour for the food to arrive. It's frustrating.

This is such a huge place and its so beautiful and bright ! I've been a few times now and my meal has been delicious every time, a decent size serving and fresh. The staff are always lovely, 👌

First time back since refurbishment. Food was good. Service we received was great. We had lunch around 12pm it was busy so had to wait for about a hour for main courses only. But that’s ok. Unfortunately whoever designed and built the Z restaurant needs to have their licences revoked. It looks good. But try having a conversation. Went to punk gig in city a few months ago. That was quieter than the Z restaurant. I felt so sorry for staff. I hope they are given ear plugs upon start of each shift and receive regular hearing checks. The sound just reverberated around the room like sitting in front of a stack of Marshall guitar Amps at a Metallica concert indoors in the 90’s. Just not anywhere near as much fun. Maybe the ceiling is too high? Maybe someone forgot soundproofing or just didn’t think about how sound travels. Either way, if you go cool just remember the ear protectors. Or maybe the Rezz can supply them upon entry. Shame because food and service was great, but we won’t be back in a hurry.

So disappointed! It started with a sticky table. Prawn heads to fill the plate (normally you may get one for decoration) The poached prawns were well overcooked, and the broccolini undercooked, cold and bland. The potatoes were nice, however $42 for 2 small potatoes is a bit rich. My friend had Mediterranean Seafood. The Octopus so rubbery she could not cut it. Again at $41 we expected better. When we complained the cook showed no interest. The view from the window over the park was beautiful. We normally eat at Cafe Settebello where the calamari melts in your mouth. Same price but the chef knows food.

Such a hidden gem! Loved the ambience, the food, the service, and that play area, kept kids busy all the time. It also has a great setup outside, and it's safe for kids to just run around too. This place is always busy, so make sure you book in advance to be sure you have a table. Most favourites are the Lamb Kofta, Chicken Wings, Con Pollo Pasta, sliders, Arancini Balls, and Cauliflower Tempura 😋😋

1st visit. Nice venue restaurant wise. Service excellent. Left alone until we were ready to order. Ordering was seamless. Comfortable dining. Food... Exceptional! Ordered a meat lovers pizza. Offered taste test to my group begrudgingly as the pizza was so so tasty. Only parted with ½ a slice 🍕 Friendly and pleasant staff. Reasonable prices. Relaxed, with a visit to judge for yourself.

Very disappointed, have eaten here several times but this time was no good. Ordered Thai salad with vermicelli noodles. Came out with fried noodles plonked on the top and extra ingredients that were not on the menu. On top of this they didn’t hear our child’s order and completely missed it.

Food was AMAZING however the service we received let it down. One waiter was so rude, no smile and actually clicked at me to pass him some empty glasses that he couldn’t reach. No manners. Upon arrival we gave a cake to a staff member to be put in fridge as a surprise to a family member - on two occasions the surprise was ruined by waiters asking about it at the table. Do better Rezz

New Hotel which exceeds all expectations. Recently rebuilt, this hotel has multiple areas which caters for all groups. It has a focus on families with the outdoor grassed area, kids activities and indoor play area. Food was fantastic - particularly the pizza and squid.

$20 each for 3 glasses of wine and waited nearly 20 minutes for them before finding them on the bar myself. Slack service. Not awful, just very average.

Have had quite a few meals since the renovation - always good. Had the Rezz burger today- had to return it to kitchen to add chips the kitchen forgot, it came with only half a burger roll and the burger was significantly under cooked and smaller in size than I recall from prior burgers- I had to leave most of it as I could not eat it not properly cooked. Reported it to waiting staff who were sympathetic but no offer of recompense. The Rezz was not busy at 1.00 pm on Wednesday. Partner’s fish meal was nice but very small in size. Things seemed to have changed meal wise at the Rezz since we were there last. Today’s burger was a sad example of a pub staple.

The kitchen closed at 3:00 pm so no food was ordered. Service was bad and rude. After waiting 10 minutes to be served the guy didn't make any effort and it was too sweet. The atmosphere is really cool, with a good vibe outside and nice seating outside.

Ordered the Mediterranean seafood dish for $41 and got 3 mushy prawns with the heads all black 3 tiny scallops and 3 tiny baby octopus on a bed of cabbage tasteless and uninviting waste of money Told the waiter and was told sorry he would let the chef know Husband ordered eggplant mezze hardly any eggplant in the dish served up with very hard overcooked pita bread Disappointing night celebrating our wedding anniversary

It was so bad. I ordered the nachos with not meat but with cheese. The order was repeated to me but when we got it there was no cheese the waiter had the audacity to say we to say we could have taken it back and they could have put cheese on it but it was too late. She had already confirmed this order with me

Food was beautiful!! Fresh and tasty, and good sizes. Staff was attentive and professional. Lovely atmosphere and speedy service.

We had food with a side salad for lunch at the Rezz. The food was quite nice but the salad was disappoiting as there was a leaf with something like orange dirt on it which spoiled our lunch! They explained that these spots were rust spots, not dirt. Lettuce with rust spots definitely shouldn't be used as they are absolutely unappetizing!

Good regular experience.

Something has changed in the kitchen for the better. We celebrated family birthdays last night. The meals were delicious 😋 I had the fig and walnut turkey with vegetables. Only complaint was - unfortunately our large group had to sit outside facing the sun on a very hot afternoon. Luckily after few hours the sun went behind the tree. We ended up putting the one fan on and had to ask for ice buckets as they leave their table water bottles sitting in the hot sun 🌞 they have done an amazing job with the renovations. And super convenient for the kids to play in the playground.

Friendly, quiet, nice food

Service from staff: Very good Tomahawk steak lacked any flavour that would be expected. Definitely was not a tender piece of meat either. It's not worth the money. Side serve of vegetables ok.

Great service, Murilo the worker who served us is so friendly, professional and very helpful. Menu is great, it caters for all types of eaters, place is great for all ages, with playground and a nice outdoor area, our first time and not the last, thank you.

Crowded because it's popular.

An amazing place, food was awesome and the staff friendly and very quick. Being the Christmas season it was noisy, but that is the same everywhere at this time of year. Highly recommend it.

30/11/2024 service was terrible. If you are having a private party and unable to serve other tables - would be good to shut down for the party alone. We had a table reserved and on 5 intervals who acknowledged to get high chairs never showed up. When patiently waiting for more than 30mins, requested from 2 others once again after having to walk inside yet all were stating they were busy. We had no option but left. Better to either limit the occupants if having a party or have more in the team.

Great place to have a lunch or dinner with friends and family .. The park is a stone throw away from the hotel which makes a walk after a meal easy.

I had an 80th birthday function at the Rezz. The food and service was fantastic, the staff were so helpfull i can highly recomend the Rezz for your function

My children 22 and 26 years of age organised a reception after the funeral of my late ex husband their father on Friday 25th October. In consultation with Sue Anne they put together a great 3 course selection of food and beverages. The food, service and delivery of such a great feast in a time of such stress and sorrow was fabulous. Thank you to the wonderful team at the Rezz for helping my kids to organise an event that allowed them to farewell their father in style. I cannot recommend them enough for their attention to detail and creating something that was seamless.

Service and food quality is exceptional.... Polite and kind

Went for a birthday lunch on a sunny Sunday in October. The table ordered separately through the QR code app at the table. App was not the most user friendly; the layout was disjointed and after one order was placed, a count down began for the next to be placed for the same table number. I understand the concept, but it did not feel like enough time between orders placed, nor was there a message about this prior. Regardless of this, food was delicious and fresh, huge selection of menu options, which did make it difficult to choose. Friends ordered the osso buco and advised that both the meat and risotto were both a little under done. Other meals ordered were the burrito bowl, spaghetti bolognese, baked mushrooms, and the lamb shank. All were delicious and cooked perfectly. Great selection of wines and other beverages, too. It was quite busy, due to the nice weather. The open plan concept, high ceilings, and hard floors do cause for a lot of echoing and generally loud noise. However, we soon were lost in our own conversation.

Loved the front bar. Great hot chips, cold beer and a freaking huge tv wall. Staff were friendly and it has a great vibe.

Always good food and lovely light airy surroundings in warm weather.

No craft beers

This place is a lot nicer than it has been in the past. And another pub with a good selection of beer on tap. Parking can be a bit of an issue as there is spill over from Thorndon Park.

What a great experience we have everytime we come to the Rezz hotel! We have a nannying business and bring children here each week… and both the children and I absolutely love coming here. The food is always exceptional, the staff are wonderful and accommodating and it’s overall a great vibe. A special mention to Chris who always goes above and beyond for us! The children we were looking after wanted some craft and when I asked Chris.. he searched high and low to find some craft for the children to enjoy! He is very patient with our orders (special requests). Chris is very friendly and accomodating and you should feel blessed to have such a wonderful staff member on your team. Very happy with the services by everyone else also. Thank you Rezz.

This is the second time we have been here (over the course of 2 months) once in a group and then just as a couple more recently. On both occasions food was hot, on-time and really good, service was both prompt and friendly overall it was very inviting. The food menu on offer is excellent and we had both seafood and meat previously and were not disappointed in anyway. Clean and professional operation. Access was easy for both parking and getting to the main dining rooms. At times it can be very noisy when allot of groups are present. Yes, I would certainly recommend this venue.

overstimulating but good food

Took friends from interstate for a meal Disappointed again with the food and the portion size for what is charged,especially the Mediterranean Seafood and Calamari dishes. Our guests had the steak,I got a 'just ok a bit chewy'from them which for a simple dishes at $46 from memory should have been better Its a shame as we really like it here and the staff are always very friendly Love the wave of hanging lights at lunchtime,not so much at night when you get a table facing them.

Yesterday i came in for a quick bite at dinner with my family, and a server named a Ashton did a great job and make our overall experience very good, and the steak was cooked perfectly!
