Good food at a reasonable price. Staff very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to trying the $25 pot and Parma in the sports bar next time.

Coffee was delicious and the dessert cake was so Moorish. Found a nice spot to stop enjoy our cake and coffee without too much noise from the pokies.

Beautiful place for all kinds of occasions. There is an extensive menu with kids meals and seniors included. They also have a kids are, equipped with old school video games and of course the claw machines. They offer decent servings for the price they charge! Definitely worth every cent. I love the atmosphere of the venue and the service is always friendly. Staff are incredible and always happy to help. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The place was so noisy our meal was very poor you couldn’t waive down a waitress & when you went to complain there was so service at the bar absolutely disgusting and will never return very poor indeed

Food was slow to come out and when it did it was completely disappointing. Had the staff who collected my barely touched meal bothered to ask how/if I enjoyed it, I would have given the feedback then and there, rather than a google review. Steak sandwich at $29 was a joke. They do advertise the steak is 150grms and that's fine, if everything else matches that size and is full of flavor. The steak was tough and I needed toothpicks. There was very little of the other fillings and the bread drowned everything else as it was a large roll. We also had a cheeseburger parma. The chicken schnitzel was average at best and overcooked so the whole lot was dry.

Get the Lamb Rogan Josh off your “summer specials” What you dished up tonight was rubbish. The “sauce” was like a soup and tasted terrible. The rice was dry and claggy. Unfortunately I couldn’t express my disdain as the wait staff member just picked up my still full plate and walked away. Overall presentation was well below par. The other meals were well received and enjoyed by the rest of our table. Won’t be going back or recommending the venue any time soon.

Bistro staff is wonderful but the gaming room staff are Extremely rude!!!!!!

Extremely disappointed. Waited 45 minutes for below average food, that was cold. We were a group of 6, the 1st of us had nearly finished our meals before the last meals came. It was midweek and not busy. We will not return. The venue should be embarrassed at the quality.

Food was nice. Although my wife lamb was over cooked and daughters nuggets tasted weird. Sorry nice and friendly staff. Very lots with lots of kids running around, but it's a family restaurant. Overall a nice dining experience.

I don't know what is going on with the food here but we ordered fish and chips and to be honest I don't think I'll be eating here again. We were I assume the last customers to order food for the night. The fish was dry and over cooked. And it's as if they went well that's all the chips we have left so they can have half each. Which was about 10 chips each. For the price that you paid for the food this is extremely poor. Sad because I do like the venue and used to go here all the time.

Nice service with comfortable seating. I was disappointed with minimal seafood in my linguine pescatore. My wife's lamb shank was not to the normal standard.

I'm not sure why the food has gone downhill all of a sudden. Had a meal for my Mother's birthday. Absolutely awful, seriously inedible. Such a shame as it used to be terrific prior to the new owners.

We recently moved to Mornington and can say where we used to live we did not have a pub with nice food. We were pleasantly surprised coming here with how delicious the food is. The parma, calamari and cheese burger are especially delicious! Food comes out pretty fast too. Only recommendation is changing the kids area cos little toddlers can’t play in it. Otherwise chef’s kiss!

Dined here for the first time. Friendly staff, good variety on menu. Nice atmosphere, very clean and modern.

Loved the Beef Ribs! service was excelent, kids loved running around to playroom while waiting for food to come. will be back! Add: i had steak three times, they are super thick and dry as! Hope next time is better. Or I'll stick with Garlic bread. Service still great.

It's rumoured that the head chef who brought this institution back to life has left. We are regulars at Steeples, but until they sort out their kitchen staff we will avoid it. Pay peanuts and you'll get monkeys. Saturday's meal was an atrocity. Curled up, dried schnitzel with loveless, cold sides and a double pattied burger that was not executed properly ($33!). Complained and was refunded but out of every restaurant option in Mornington, will give Steeples a miss until they make significant improvements. Saturday night ruined.

Ordered 6 meals last night. The pork roast was so dry after being boiled first. Watered down gravy, Disgusting. Another parmigiana was dry and stringier than string. Ribs we minimal. . Sorry...but little excuse if busy. Hire more cooks. For the price...never again.

Good food & lots of poker machines

If you say your going to get fee garlic bread with every meal on the big screen behind were you order, then it should be honoured. The trick apparently is to wait until they ask you if you want garlic bread with your meal and say yes, then they will give it to you free. Not if you enquire if it is free. They could have made my night, but they made it complicated, what for, over a couple of piece's of bread.

Great service despite how busy staff were, delicious food, play area for kids is good except it's disconcerting that once they crawl in the tunnel, they're gone from sight (contained but effectively now outside of the building) until they eventually reappear! (unless as an adult you're game for crawling in...) Good for older kids, less so for littlies

Midweek pub lunches are typically the domain of older folks and Steeples gets quite a few people in. Most would have been retired people meeting up with friends. The meals are good (even the seniors menu offers a good selection at a reduced cost with fair proportions). Steak was good. Parma was good. Fish, roasts and stir fry that others in our group had were also good. Nobody will go away hungry or disappointed.

Great place to take our father in law. He loved his senior meal and we loved the chicken and mushroom risotto. Best I'd ever tasted. Absolutely yummy! As was the Christmas pudding which was part of the Christmas in July meal. Thankyou!

Great food, no long wait for food and a nice friendly atmosphere. Music was maybe a tad too loud but then discovered I was sitting under a speaker.

Food was overpriced for standard pub grub. Staff too busy talking about their personal lives to acknowledge customers.

Enjoyed a few meals and got are memberships last week and had a great night on Saturday in the gaming room
