The decor is beautiful, but the portion sizes are very small, making it suitable for a date. If you’re looking to fill up, it’s not recommended. Additionally, the price is a bit high.

🤤Was passing through from Melbourne to Sydney and stopped at this place for dinner. It was a warm afternoon and the air-con was refreshing. The Beef Massman Curry and Green Curry Duck was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS accompanied with the Coconut Rice. 🏆BEN🏆 had a 'can-do' attitude and was very welcoming. STAY AWESOME!

Great food and atmosphere but $26 for a bowl of rice 😳 far far too expensive. Meal sizes are small and the whole family left hungry.

If you have ever eaten food in Thailand... you won't like this place. They have forgotten how to cook Thai its so westernised its not enjoyable even when you ask for a thai Pad Grapow Gai you get a stock standard stir fry.

We just ordered take out from there and the food is absolutely tasteless. The pad thai is simply not a pad thai. The curry doesn’t contain much more than 5 pieces of brocolis, cauliflowers and meats all together in a massive bowl of liquid.

A big group of us went for dinner. The service was terrible. We asked if they had any vegan food and were abruptly told NO. We normally go to Aloi Thai which is the best but was closed Anyway we left hungry and went to Vietnamese which had great service and vegan food

I dined at this restaurant on 29/09/23, and I must say that the overall experience was quite disappointing. We had high hopes for the meal, but unfortunately, the food fell short of our expectations. To start, we ordered the chef's special bread, which, although it had a decent taste, was overly oily and left us feeling like it wasn't worth the price. The disappointment continued when we tried the roti with satay sauce. The roti was hard and chewy, as if it had been cooked in advance and reheated before serving. Next up was the pad thai with prawns. While it tasted okay, we were taken aback by the small portion size, especially considering its relatively high cost compared to other Thai restaurants nearby. To make matters worse, there were no lemon wedges or crushed dried chillies provided, which are typically expected accompaniments for this dish. While a kind staff member did offer fresh ground chilli, it didn't complement the flavours well. The most disappointing part of the meal was the volcano chicken. It was a real letdown, featuring tough, dry, and slightly smelly grilled chicken served with a side of sweet chilli sauce. This dish should not be on the menu if it's consistently prepared this way. On a positive note, the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, and the staff members were exceptionally courteous and polite. When it came time to pay, I was asked about how everything was, but with other customers around, I didn't want to sound like a complainer. In conclusion, while the restaurant has potential with its great atmosphere and polite staff, the quality of the food on this visit left much to be desired. I believe they have the capability to serve better dishes, and I hope they can improve the dining experience for future customers. This meal was a disappointing start to the grand final long weekend.

Got this delivered on Uber eats - had a punt despite expensive prices and was disappointed with the food. Bland pad Thai and spring rolls a staggering $14.50 for 4 very small average rolls. Wouldn't recommend.

Worst pad Thai I have ever had. Minimal chicken, no nuts on top (as I have found is traditional). The noodles were different as well and tasted like fat. Would not recommend.

Ordered 7 dishes seafood and chicken but all were served with vegetables cauliflower carrot brocoli and all in small portions, all taste the same, look like we ordered 7 vegetables dishes confronted the counter lady who answered that no one ever complained abt the vegetables except me and she claims people here eat a lot of vege and the vegetables price is as high as meat price. Very bad..

We ordered take away from here tonight and was so disappointed in the food. The beef in the massman curry was tough and it didn’t really have a lot of flavour and the pad Thai was average at best. We won’t be ordering from here again in a hurry.

Maybe our expectations were too high but the food here was very ordinary. A young girl came to serve us and she wasnt welcoming at all.

Good Thai. Quirky restaurant layout with beautiful ornate booths and fish tanks built into the walls in some. Some tables are low, take care to notify ahead with those who have mobility limitations.

Nice restaurant enjoyed the food and service could have a larger range of drinks for those who enjoy there alcohol

Affordable and delicious Thai food.

Well I never wanted to go back to Thai Orchid after my last visit years ago ( MSG in the food ) yet they denied doing so. But tonight I went as it was my Nieces birthday dinner, and this is where she wanted to go. Entrees were okay apart from the King Prawns ( which were NOT King Prawn size) Main meals we ordered 4 to share ( plus rice ) they were pathetic in size. Hardly any meat and minimal veggies, and runny sauces. Not the size of the meals they use to be. And the Satay Chicken Entree was exactly the same size as the Main🤔 By the time we finished and got home, we ALL had bloated stomachs (MSG) and the prices on the menu inside were different than what was on the front window menu. Value for money= not at all. Not many people there either. Never will I go there again !!
