Ordered parmigiana for $28, it came burnt couldn’t even get my steak knife through it, I apologised profusely for having to return it, for another and was returned to me just lightly less burnt than before. Absolutely ridiculous! Couldn’t even eat it!

Amazing accommodating staff and A grade meals. The salt and pepper calamari melted in your mouth, flavours were spot on. Highly recommend 👌 All 10 meals were so tasty.

Food was delicious (pizza, wings and calamari). Price was great. Staff were polite and efficient. Atmosphere was awesome. I'd definitely recommend for events and even dining out with the family. We will be returning customers.

I ordered vegetarian pizza . I couldn't eat it . It was soft and wet . The mushroom s taste like they were from a can and the other toppings were not fresh . I don't think either of the staff cared 😕. I just went across the road and ate . Definitely would not recommend the pizza I think it was 24 dollars .

App glitches and orderes two meals when you add an add on. Staff refused to refund it and instead bring it to you as take away. If you order here do not use the me&u app! Staff should have fixed this up - pretty disappointing.

Went to the avenue as a group at different times but was denied entry because they claimed they were “closing” at 1:15am when their website stated a 3am closing time. Even after stating that friends were inside and we just wanted to join them we were denied entry only by a single security guard (short with dark features and a buzz cut). He was extremely rude despite his boss allowing us entry and told us to move to the side continuously. We took our business elsewhere (myself and 20 other people) and will never return to this location.

5 stars for service because of Evie we’ve been 3 times now cause the foods delish unfortunately alejandro forgot my order for dinner but everyone else got theirs no big deal drinks were lovely cause Evie fixed it…. the karaoke was the biggest vibe my sister in law and her husband sung island in the stream and my father in law sung tennessee whiskey his grandchildren and us. we’re in awe he’s so talented thank you XX

Was a great vibe to sit and have a beer whilst people watching. Then, when the music came on, it went to another level with so many favourite tunes played. Wasn't too crowded, which we enjoyed as well.

I had lunch here with a friend yesterday. She had the chicken parmy and I had the pirate life barramundi. My friend enjoyed her parmy and said it was good value. I however didn't like my food. The barramundi was battered, the batter was soft and the fish had a very strong dirty fish flavour and was soggy and mushy inside. The chips were good. The aioli sauce has a grubby after taste and the vinegarette on the salad had heavy sesame seed flavour. The staff where really nice but won't be returning 😔

Went on a Monday mainly for the karaoke. Food and drinks we ordered were pretty good. Anyway, the reason for the 2 stars is my friend queued up a song at literally like 8:30pm…we left at 11pm frustrated that it still hadn’t come on. Multiple times we went up to take a squeeze at the lady’s screen to see when her song was coming on and there was multiple times when she’d be “#3” in line but then somehow further down the list the next time I’d go and check because the song still hadn’t come on. Yet there were times I’d see the same person up on the stage 10 bloody times lol. Tbh, seems like the lady had some friends or regulars getting pushed to the top of the list, doesn’t really seem fair. Pretty annoying, probs won’t be going back to be honest. Even for a Monday it gets really packed and gets hard to keep track of when they’re pushing your request further and further down the line. :)

I came all the way from capital just to spend good time with my friends but the out door guard with bald head is too much resist. He doesn't let a asian guy let in its a shameful for company like The Avenue to have such a staff.

Stop here again on this visit. The drinks were cold, the food was very nice, and the staff a young lady was very friendly but run off her feet waiting for more to arrive, which they did. They were also very friendly. The live music was a little loud but when another family asked the staff turned it down, they did, so thank you from us as well. Price, well, I must say, the cheapest meal with drinks we ate on the Gold Coast this trip, well done.

The food here was very good and the service was impeccable. We had the pizza and ribs with a salad on the side. The ribs were perfectly fall off the bone done and just the right amount of sauce. The full rack was on a bed of fries and fresh slaw on the top. Very well balanced and delicious The pizza was hot and fresh with loads of cheese. Very tasty and although not NY style yummy nonetheless. Service was great and the ambiance was good. Slow season but still good crowds for a Monday. Had a good promo if you use yelp and check in and they already had a good special for pizza and pasta. Would come again to try the rice dish for lunch!

What has happened to this place..Been going there for years but experienced no service not just poor service..Waited at the front to eventually be seated then waited and waited and waited for our order to be taken then waited some more...Then left..

Nice location and premises but it was so cold and windy where we sat at the front of the restaurant. The heaters did minimal. The food was nice, very tasty and presented well. and served promptly. Staff were very efficient. It was a little on the expensive side at just over $145 for 2 adults and 2 kids but I guess that comes from the location, it is the Gold Coast after all!! I would eat here again, but perhaps pick a booth further inside than toward the front where the cold air gets you, especially with the kids.
