Food was average at best but service was lovely hence 2 stars instead of one.

Great location, lovely food and attentive staff. 10/10

Came here for lunch and they have a lunch special Parma and a drink $25. It was ok but nothing to rush back for. Staff were friendly. Order and pay at the bar.

Great place for a meal. Has large bistro and sports bar. Good meals. Can have a bet. Have been several times.

Good food with a great view. Can get a bit noisy but you get past it just by looking out at the beautiful water from your seat. Food is quite good for a 'bistro' meal with portions being extremely generous, but you do pay for it when looking at the prices. Staff are friendly but are almost too helpful, most recently trying to take plates whilst people were still eating. The whole meal/atmosphere seemed rushed.

I don't live far from here, on this night I met a friend, but often pop in, great days when we are able to sit outside in the sun and on the water edge, looking over at the docked boats and much more. Often walking Cheeko and use the bottle shop,.. although last time I went by the drive thru bottle shop was no more....

Easy 5 out of 5 stars for this spot. Modern and airy, with reasonably priced meals it’s located next to Mordialloc Creek with views down to the beach. On a recent midweek evening the restaurant was nearly full with prompt service and food was quick to arrive. Despite being on the main road you don’t notice the traffic and it feels like you’re in a quiet beach town pub. Make sure to stop in if you find yourself in Mordialloc on a sunny day 👍.

Pretty bad service. Completely refused (rudely) to cater a smaller meal for my elderly father who can’t eat large meals and they don’t serve senior meals on weekends. No gluten free options. Went with my family of 25. Looking at the menu very very overpriced for plain old pub food with basic chips and salad average $50 for pasta?! Would not go there again or recommend it. Very outdated restaurant considering the choice and quality now available in mordialloc.

Fantastic venue for your special event - the staff were amazing in helping me organise, room was beautiful and food delicious. Would highly recommend this venue for a function

The policy of not allowing seniors to eat off the seniors menu is punitive and ageist. My father is 88, was told he can't eat what he wants. Response from staff 'if we do it for him we have to do it for everyone' There were 26 of us eating off the main menu, so they are making a killing anyway. I've not written such a scathing review before. Just disappointed. No excuses from this business, just greed. So we all walked out and went to Cheltenham RSL So. If you're a family that wants to celebrate an event with your grandparents, don't go here, especially on the weekend.

Top spot in a historic building. You can choose from various parts of the establishment, me, I just use the bridge bar which is nice and large. They could do with a full on happy hour on all drinks, but five stars anyway

Usually have had some good meals at The Bridge at Mordialloc. Unfortunately at my last visit I ordered a pasta dish and fish and chips were brought to the table. I also ordered an iced coffee and an iced chocolate came. The mistakes were corrected.

Stopped in for a quick Sat lunch. I had the steak it was cooked to perfection. Service was great.

Verry dirty not clean and overpriced

The drink prices are ridiculous, nearly $40 for 2 pints of Asahi also got charged $5.90 for a pot of soda water with a dash of raspberry cordial for my child. The venue has definitely gone downhill in recent times

Location great, food like a bad RSL

Food was good, service very good, location good

Yesterday l celebrated my “0” birthday with family & friends on the Deck. I must say that the venue was faultless. All guests enjoyed the food & a special mention to Jasmine who oversaw everything. Our guests were suitably impressed. Many thanks Jenny

Visited - 29 Jan 2025. Food quality was pretty average & only served warm. It was only 3 of us, however the waiter just put meals in front of each of us, for us to swap around. Not that hard to simply ask who ordered what, that's hospitality 101? Bottle of rose was put on the table with cap still sealed, for us to serve ourselves. The pretty views will only get you so far - real shame to see this place heading this way. We are locals who won't be coming again anytime soon.

I went there today with a friend, haven’t been there for a few years, we both had Thai Beef Salad and we both agreed it was the best, so delicious. The staff were great and very attentive, we sat outside, which was beautiful, so a 5 star rating from me. We are already organising getting a group together to go back.

Top place for a meal, a game of pool or to put a bet on.

Tapas were good But the pizza outrageously bad Undercooked, not crispy at all, cheap topping and very doughy. Wood oven fired but not a very good result

Very expensive. Staff didn’t even mention the specials which were listed on a sign which we could not see. Lovely atmosphere and outlook but…….

Beautiful location on the water, delicious food, happy staff 😃 5 stars

Great food and service.

Have been coming here since the mid 90's when it was originally Doyles, to the refurbishment and rebranding about 3 years ago. All I can say it that the quality of food and service have been in gradual decline, while the prices have proportionally increased. To the extent that this is now a very expensive place to dine, for what is essentially pub fare, with ordinary service. Last time was a few months ago and we had to round up the waiting staff several times. The only thing going for it these days is the ambience of the older part of the bistro near the fire places on a cooler night, or the deck overlooking the marina on a sunny day.

I wish this place was better. Location is great, however the prices for the food to the quality you receive is very average. $52 for a seafood pasta, nearly $60 for a steak, around $40 for a Parma. Food quality is the same if not a little lower than your usual pub meal.

worst place ever ever gone to the food is mouldy gross and disgusting. I will never come here again. I do not recommend as for a kids meal. It is $30. It comes frozen and it just goes in the fryer and it’s soggy and disgusting and a whole family has got sick from his food for about three days and it is very bad. Do not recommend.

The food at the bistro is amazing and the servings so generous. More importantly though, the manager on duty E.J. provided extraordinary service and went out of his way to accommodate our needs. Thank you! We will certainly be back again.

I am regular at the Bridge Hotel and the customer service & food used to be next to none. Today we ordered a caesar salad with anchovies I dont know where the anchovies were from but they tasted pickled, the salad was full of dill 🤮 My daughter had the mushroom risotto which was a mushroom bowl not a risotto. She fought for her life to get some rice on her fork. When I gave the feedback afterwards they apologised and charged full price and offered us a coffee. What happened to this place? The food used to be sensational and the staff was amazing..... today's staff looked hungover! Disgusted!

Beautiful restaurant with a view. We enjoyed the Pina Colada and the pizzas.

Awesome place. Stumbled across it by change and it was great. Thanks

First time venue for me. I am not one for pubs if you see my reviews but I glad to say I think I could be converted. A menu with classic pub fair and it certainly did not disappoint. Simple food cooked well. I even treated myself a cocktail- the peach paradise (amazing). If you could send me the recipe that would be good :-) The staff were tentative and super friendly. Happy to delay my mains so there was a break in between courses. Only area of improvement would have been to ensure we had our drinks before the entree was served. It was busy so it’s was understandable. I would go back.

Best restaurant for birthdays and other special occasions, the staff are very hardworking and the service is spot on, the food is lovely and expensive but still.. is worth it! Eating seafood outside from the lake with the boats and the sunset rising it was just the best night Togo during winter or summer or anytime through the year, it was just the best.

Absolutely fantastic customer service! If I could give more than five stars, I would. The managers were incredibly helpful, making the whole process smooth, quick, and easy. Highly recommend – exceptional experience all around!”

Came here recently with friends as we hadn't been here for a while. The food was very expensive for what you got and nothing to rave about. I would not recommend this place especially families with kids.

Really enjoyed our dinner last night. Calamari melted in your mouth; excellent service by friendly staff....not to forget the amazing views onto the water.

I was served by a young African waiter, he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, me and the family will definitely be back and I hope to see him there. I believe he said his name was soul.

Nice servings of food, but expensive. Service ordinary, as multiple wait staff seemed to be attending multiple tables. Drink orders were forgotten, others received their meals after others on the table had finished their meals.

Good food great atmosphere

Always a great experience here, harbour views, great food and wine list and in particular, Jackson is a total legend. Thank you ❤️

Very expensive for the food quality. Can’t recommend this restaurant other than for some drinks, that are not cheap either.

Had not been here for a number of years but I’m happy to say nothing has changed here. The service, food and atmosphere were all great. Though I will say the salads for the meals could have been a little better, but the freshness and taste were excellent.

I booked an outdoor terrace table on December 3 for December 29 at 6:45 PM, specifying that it was for 4 people and that I would be bringing a small toy poodle. The reservation was confirmed. However, today, December 29, at around 3 PM—just 3 hours and 45 minutes before the scheduled time—I received a call informing me that pets are not allowed in the outdoor zone of the restaurant. I understand that you may be busy and have many customers, but I made the reservation 26 days in advance. You should have informed me earlier, not just 4 hours before the reservation. Furthermore, there was no apology—only an explanation that you were very busy. I’ve made reservations at many places, always informing them about bringing my dog, and I’ve never had any issues. Other restaurants always notify me in advance whether pets are allowed or not before confirming the reservation. The problem here is, first, you didn’t apologize to your customer, and second, your reservation system is either poorly managed, or your staff is careless and doesn’t review customer comments before confirming reservations. I’m on holiday, and I can’t leave my dog alone in the rental house because my dog is not familiar with the place.

Popular bar and restaurant overlooking the Mordialloc harbour. Friendly and efficient staff. One of our favourites.

Ideal location overlooking the boats . A beautiful place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and admire the view The bistro offers a variety of food choices including seafood. Good portion sizes . Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Great outdoor eating and delicious food

Extremely expensive and below average quality food. Carbonara pasta was dry and the fish batter was not crisp at all. The salad wasn’t even dressed. Wouldn’t go back or recommend. Service was excellent and the only reason I’ve bothered to leave a review. The waitress was very attentive and friendly.

Very expensive pub for very average food. $50 rump steak was drier than sand, watered down mushroom sauce. Venue was empty, food took about 30 mins to arrive. Nice venue but definitely over priced.

Such a disappointment to the eat here, we were really looking forward to it. The eye fillet which was tiny came with a watered down attempt at mushroom gravy that was cold that we had to ask for even as it didn’t arrive with some sad cold chips and veggies which was two pieces of pumpkin.! No greens at all. The calamari was also served with cold chips and salad which consisted of 3 pieces of cocktail tomato and a 10 piece size of feta that was slimey and 2 limp rocket leaves. The lemon on the plate had been used before!!! The Mediterranean salad was nice but the chicken that we ordered to come with it was so dry you could use it as plaster. The staff were really nice and very efficient and the location is pretty. Such a pity. Will not be going back. Quite expensive for pub food but very happy to pay for quality food that is cooked with enthusiasm and care. I wish l had read the reviews before dining there. So many great places to eat along the Bay.

Lunch and as usual they accepted us even as walk ins no reservation on a very busy Saturday Thanks team great to see a business that’s wants to keep serving 👌

Waited an hour for drinks, nearly 2 hours for meals, left with a take away box. Never again.

We had dinner for two a few weeks ago, nice table and surroundings. The price is way too high for the small portions but the food was tasty. We asked for a few slices of bread, we got the warning we needed to pay for them which would have been fine but they forgot to bring them out. Reminded them quite a few times. It was embarrassing so many times all staff members needed to be reminded. Only by the time we finished the meal they finally brought the bread which was ok it hasn’t been charged. What really upset us was that when we requested another drink, without asking they delivered a larger glass and for more money. No-one told them we needed a larger drink and we could nit finish it anyway. We were charged and when i questioned it they said they only had the larger glass available. Overall kind waiters but really bad service, we won’t come back.

Went there with a group for a Christmas lunch break up. The food was on the dear side but we were prepared to pay that, but when the food came it was very second rate. My $55 scotch fillet which was supposed to be medium rare was more than well done with no sign of pink and tasting like cardboard. When I brought this to their attention, I was offered a free soft drink. Won't bother going there again.

Great spot on a sunny day for lunch. Food was good, great atmosphere and vibe!

Fantastic food and staff in the Nepean Room for family Christmas lunch.

This hotel is right on the beach. Service is good food is good. It would be wise to book. Prices are a tad high but totally justified.

Greqt food and wine selection. Sound dampening would be good in the main dining room where volume levels peak during dinner service.

Awesome place to visit for drinks and lunch with superb views of boats and the bay.

Awful food. Worst steak - overcooked, tough and inedible. Hubby’s steak was equally as bad. Looked like both were precooked and reheated. Sadly the remainder of our table was was served soggy Caesar salad with overcooked dry chicken, rubbery squid and a pretty average chook Parma. Average service to boot. Definitely not worth nearly $250 dinner and won’t bother returning

Thai beef salad too sweet and I’m Thai I don’t think we should call that plate is a Thai beef salad. a cocktail was great!😊 but seafood plate is very good and very friendly service.

The locality was great and food was delicious. Definitely a great place to dine.

Poor service. Sat for 30 mins outside on a Saturday afternoon, wasn’t too busy but no server came over to us after seating us. Served tables next to us and brought people down to our section but we didn’t couldn’t even order a drink because no one came over.
