Bit expensive so a hotel, but that would be my main complaint, otherwise good quality service.

They don’t clean the beer taps. Beer tastes old for top dollar you expect more

Went as a work group. Have been to Mannys several times and never dissatisfied not this time. Food was very average. Need to drop the price if this standard is the new normal.

Busy well laid out old pub that has been renovated recently. Had some excellent crumbed lamb cutlets, best I have had in ages. Nice and thick, cooked perfectly. Creamy mash, nice bit of roast pumpkin, green beans and carrots.

Super glad we decided on the BULL! From finding a seat on a busy Thursday evening, offering the food, the bars gin selection, speed of food prep and quality of our meal. My steak was a perfectly cooked medium rare and the wifeys beer battered Barra rated the best she's eaten. Well done White Bull on providing a great service.

We were staying overnight in Armidale and our accommodation had a list of restaurants so we chose the first on their list. We were very happy with the bar person who guided us through options for seating areas. The deco was very plush and the noise level was minimal from the other busy areas of the hotel. Our food came within 10-15 minutes of ordering. The chicken breast was succulent and the crumbed lamb chops nicely cooked and tasty. Great vegies and sauces suited each of the meals. Thank you we had a great experience. Five Stars Highly Recommended. We are an over 55 years young couple from Sydney.

Stopped in Armidale for the night and chose Whitebull Hotel for the evening's dinner option. Was not expecting such an amazing meal! I've had many chicken parmi's in my day, from many different pubs and this one was a stand out. Absolutely delicious and excellent! Not to mention, my Salted Caramel Espresso Martini was f***** AMAZING Shout out to the bartender who cooked that one up. Would return 100%

We visited here twice travelling to and from Qld to Sydney. The atmosphere was great, the staff very friendly and the food fantastic! A great experience we’ll be happy to repeat next time we are in Armidale.

Outrageously expensive not only for the food but the drinks too! How do people afford it! We are on holidays from Spain nearly three times the price and we pay there in Euros!!!

Beautiful venue, delicious food (baked Brie, lamb cutlets and steak tacos) and really really great cocktails (recommend the caramel espresso martini or the frosty fruit). Service was also really friendly. Gets insanely busy on a Sunday night, either go early or book!!

This place is all about beef from the entry to the toilet even the evacuation map there are bulls everywhere .great main bar area and dinner of black Angus rump end cap was definitely top 5 steaks I've eaten, flame grilled and juicy.well worth stopping at.

Motel suggested to go here as the best in town. I'd hate to try the worst if this is the best. Both our meals were very, very ordinary. Over cooked and not enjoyable.

White Bull steaks are exceptional. We always eat there when staying in Armidale. Very popular so we always book a table.

We were recommended this for dinner, and it was incredible. If you are ever in Armidale give it a go.

Food was delicious! Service left a bit to be desired as there was no clear directions about cutlery as there was none at the table and none when the food arrived. Had to ask a waiter where to get cutlery

Very disappointed. Ordered the Signature Steak at $75 and asked for medium rare. My colleague ordered the same. It was a Friday night and not busy. When steaks arrived it’s clear the chef either doesn’t know how to cook a steak or just didn’t care as both were medium - medium well. You could tell one had been cooked on one side for way longer than the other side. If this is how they prepare, cook and serve their signature meal I’m glad I didn’t get one of their other items. Don’t waste your money on this option.

Went for a meal. The 12 hour slow brisket roast was like leather. For $35... Vegies were good though. Drinks are more expensive than other pubs in town.

Three of us went for dinner. We ordered the specials. For what we got it was way overpriced. They mucked up the order. I finished my measly meal before my friends received theirs. Dirty dishes weren't collected. Not a good experience.

All above average. Steaks were cooked right, meals were good. Sauces were probably the let down. Creamy Dianne sauce not creamy. Both sauces we had , too much gravy mix.

Came here for the steak, and was not disappointed as they do indeed serve steak. My sirloin was great, parts a bit stringy but that's sirloin for you. My friends Wagyu looked even better but I wasn't allowed to try any, much to my disappointment. Will be back for more steak, Wagyu this time. Great staff too btw.

Good service and information with very nice steaks. A pity that it was trivia night and nearly all tables were reserved.. had to sit at a window bar type of table. But at least the food was good.

Waited for our food which took over an hour, portion sizes were average and steak was very over cooked. Pub was dirty with most tables covered with multiple plates and glasses which customers had placed there due to lack of cleaning from staff Before leaving had a glass of water which was also dirty and had objects floating in it. Had one night in Armidale. This was a great choice for a casual dinner. The salmon was delicious. Busy but a happy atmosphere and cosy on a cold night.

Thought me and my fellow coworkers would head to Whitebull for dinner we were met with a very rude presence and was told we need to order now because the restaurant is closing mind you there restaurant hours are dispalayed online and we had plenty of time to order. We all ordered on the one bill and they forgot a chicken schnitzel, a waiter came over and said we can give you a lamb shank which is a massive upsell and they made my boss pay for it regardless of their mistake, will mention the night before we were also disrespected during service food was cold and not cooked as requested. I will not visit this establishment again as I felt they robbed us and treated us with absolute disrespect if you get the so called female manager with the glasses steer clear of this place

Horrible people that kicked my friend out for no reason and she’s from young and had no where to go. Now she’s sad and fffed up. Wouldn’t go again. Snitty was good tho.

I was told 30 minutes wait for food was 1 and a half hours wait and had to got and get off the chef myself didn’t even bring out the garlic bread until they were asked hopeless organisation arrogant staff would not recommend

Nice pub - my go to when in Armidale but quite disappointed with steak this time - was cooked correctly to medium rare - but was tough and chewy.

We choose to stay in a nearby motel when we are passing through Armidale just so we are in easy walking distance of this pub. Very popular though. Even 5.30 pm on a Sunday there was a queue to order food but the staff impressed with their friendly efficiency. The food was yummy and the atmosphere was great. Will keep on visiting.

We were here to have a graduation celebration dinner and we give it 5×⭐️ all round. The restaurant was very busy but we didn't have to wait very long to enjoy our first class dinner. The portions were very generous and it was service with a smile all the way. We heartily recommend it.

Went to Maddy's but the noise from the pub below ruined the atmosphere staff were attentive

Good value for money, family friendly venue with plenty more f room and selections

I had the lunchtime special steak for $23 and it was cooked perfectly. It even included a soft drink with table service and a smile. Very very high standard
