Room full of bugs and spiders 🕷️🕷️🕸️🕸️🦟🦟🦟🦟 First of all, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful throughout the check in process however thats about the only nice thing about our experience. We arrived and noticed a lot of mosquitos in the room, we decided to spray the room and leave for an hour in hopes we could get rid of some. This kind of worked however to our shock once we got back and got settled in we noticed multiple spiders 🕷️🕷️🕷️on the furniture and the walls(not just small ones). There were spider webs around most of the furniture and a thick layer of dust on almost everything except easy to clean surfaces. This hotel desperately needs a deep clean and better cleaning staff. We ended up leaving around 5 hours after we arrived and booked a different hotel because we couldn’t stay in a room infested with spiders. We couldnt tell anyone as unfortunately the front desk closes at 4pm. Location is great though.

We stay at Fairways once a month to visit family. Our room is always immaculate and the bed is comfortable. The reception staff are a delight. What more could anyone need?

Absolutely amazing place and kid friendly. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and will definitely be back.

I was surprised by everything at the Fairways Resort

We had a lovely stay overnight after a busy day of house hunting. The location is stunning, very quiet and gorgeous bird life everywhere. The units are very clean, comfortable with lots of toiletries and fluffy white towels. We had dinner at the restaurant and the fish and chips were the best we have had. We would stay again!

So you are definitely not winning on walk ability here for the beach, but you are winning in other ways, and in a big way! So much space, the rooms are huge! You’d be wasting an opportunity if you just stayed one night. So many little perks in your room. Microwave, toaster, and all the basic plates as well as the dishwashing detergent to reuse them. Really great size bathroom, with our room having the shower and toilet in the room and the sink in the alcove outside this so two people can be getting ready at the same time. Beyond the amount of regular storage space, and if your partner wants to sleep in, you can go out on your private deck or sit in the additional area on the couch with a hot drink… brilliant! The standards are there of course too… brilliant customer service and of course a high level of cleanliness, super comfortable bed and peace and quiet, enough to shock me when I overslept because the room was so dark and cosy. Will be back and will definitely call directly to the resort for the best deal. Thanks

Clean and comfortable, very well appointed

The location was great. It was nice and quiet next to the golf course and we didn't hear any noises from other guests either. Just off the end of the freeway and a short drive to the beaches and shops. The room had everything we needed, not that we needed much. Our only quibble was that the bed was harder than what we were used to sleeping on. We enjoyed our stay there.

Clean bathrooms. Nearly fresh pianted rooms. Comfy beds. Very very low internet speed. Forget about watching Netflix and playing games. Even our phone with Telstra had no signal. Good place for kids if you want to surprise them to be off from their electronic gadgets 😃.

Great place, we loved it and kids friendly. Staff were great, unfortunately the spa in our room wasn't working. But the staff was so nice about it I still give 5 starts. Views are amazing and walking distance to the country golf club/course.

Very disappointed , just wanted one night away somewhere relaxing as I haven’t been sleeping well lately only to be up litterally all night with the sound of heavy water pouring onto footpath directly out front door as there is a gutter half hanging off the roof so the whole hotels roof stormwater ends up directly outside our door . After been up all night at around 4am we decided to try and place towels to dampen noise yet did nothing, than just decided to check out early. You just expect better when paying as much .

We just had a 2 night stay here and its was wonderful! Firstly I must mention it was very clean, huge room and bathroom, very nicely furnished and decorated with a beachy accent to compliment the area. Great restaurant on site, serving yummy breakfast overlooking the golf course - The best way to wake up to the day ! Very quiet area and close to so many places to visit on the peninsula. We will definitely stay again!!

Stayed here for my birthday. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and beautifully presented. The bed was super comfortable. We had a good sized fully enclosed private courtyard and a parking space literally at the door.

Booked a Spa Suite for a night away. The room was lovely, the bed was comfortable. The location on the Golf Course was quiet at night time. Everything we wanted.

3rd stay at this hotel & again we were very happy. Room was spacious, clean & beds were comfortable. Check in was easy, lady was very nice at reception. Location is handy to everything. Would gladly recommend to others & we would definitely stay here again.

Not a bad place for revisit

Did not realise fairway resort was next to a country club when we were booking, so location is a little more secluded. Nonetheless the stay have been a great one.

All that you can expect from a motel really. Close to the beach which is a bonus. Clean room, was affordable, has a great golf green. Has a restaurant and a pokies area. Nothing flashy here, perfect if your looking for a place to crash while you enjoy all that the peninsula has to offer.

First time to Rosebud. I managed to score the last room of the last second on a long weekend. Upon arrival to Fairway Resort, I liked the fact that it was away from the busy road, secluded, quiet, safe, and private. It is right opposite the golf course, which was hosting a tournament (for those of you who would like to have a swing). Service was very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. My room was comfortable, spacious, and clean with modern furnishings. The only downfall for me was the courtyard, which was very stuffy due to high fencing and it being very, very hot, and it was loaded with big blow flies. Thank you, Fairways..

We recently stayed at this resort for a few nights. The room was full of spiders, without exagerration about 10 spiders we had to get rid of to sleep comfortably. Beneath the bed was so dirty, thick layer of dust, hair ties, cobwebs, more spiders and believe it or not bird feathers. We mentioned this to the staff at reception (Crystal) I found she wasn't too happy with hearing about it and continued to cut in whilst I was speaking which was quite rude from a customer's point of view. I was told that the pest control guy comes out so often and they get the rooms sprayed- I understood that but my point was regarding the filth beneath the bed that we had to sleep on. Which to me hadn't been moved or cleaned under in such a long time. The room service cleaners don't do a great job. The toilet had the previous people's faeces on the seat when lifted. The shower was not clean smudge marks all over the glass, long hair on the bathroom wall tiles, the mirror was all marked, the bathroom bench had a layer of dust on it, brown food smudged on the microwave. The entire room itself was not up to a clean standard. Save yourself the headache, especially if you don't like 🕷 Spend a little extra and book at a cleaner place!! Definitely won't ever book at this resort again nor do I recommend it.

Stayed here during peak period, the rooms are nice and spacious compared to other places we have stayed in the area. The staff are polite and accomodating. The room we stayed in had a spacious private courtyard which was perfect to relax in if the weather wasn't hot enough for the beach. ||Plenty of car parks as well, if someone happened to park in your designated spot whilst you were out. Location is great, not too close to the busing traffic heading to rye/sorrento. Close enough to the Rosebud Plaza & other shops which is highly convenient. Bonus your on the golf course too!

* 1st day arrived already reception told us nothing nearby, not a walking distance anywhere * We where isolated no windows, only rear sliding door * We opened front door for air then realised no front fly screen/security door, on our 1st day * Our room was ready for 1 guest not a few * We had to ask for a couple of extra items, due to only was set up for 1 guest * No external bins close by, only BBQ area, which is always fall, not even wheelie bins * No onsite shop * No air vents, was humid all the time * We felt like fainting constantly * We only tried staying to sleep * We tried to eat here, only 2. Bins outside near BBQ, to throw rubbish away, our inside bin was fall & smells the whole room (bedroom) * Will not come back & recommend * Photos are advertising for what's supposed to be nearby * Toilet paper was actually Paper * 3rd day blocked Toilet paper, 24/7 emergency doesn't exist * Had to purchase items to unblock it ourselves * No 2nd sink, so had to get water from bathroom sink, bad hygiene * No fresh air in room, had to leave rear door open all the time * No oven, no stove, just toaster?, microwave & kettle, fridge was a small bar fridge, no freezer * Restaurant rear of Resort was too expensive & 1 hr 10 minutes wait for a very light meal * Once removing room key all electricity turns off including fridge, had to throw heaps of food & drinks away ***** Had to get delivery a few times due to traffic, couldn't even drive locally due to three-way was nearby ***** Only good thing was meeting the Petite receptionist on the 1st day & meeting the other receptionist the last day, nice front view 1st day, nice rear view, 2nd receptionist last day,

The best and most affordable resort for families, and it is very close hot to the spring and golf course just next door. 2 beds next to each other, good for children. Nice big screen smart TV with air conditioning.

Want to go to the beach or a place that's a short distance from Enchanted adventures or the gondola? Here's a great choice for anyone. The rooms have all things a place needs and more. There's also a place to barbecue food that are free for the guests. It's also situated next to a golf course and allows for a 5% discount from the cafe.

Like other reviews, we did not get the room we booked, we booked a room with a spa and did not get it. They said that it was not their issue to fix and that there was nothing they could do despite there being hardly any people staying in rooms. Pretty certain they just said that because they’re lazy. No park outside our room, blood stains on sheets, shower has stains and a broken soap holder, there are spider webs in the shower and so many bugs in our room. We have not had any housekeeping switch over any of our towels or bath mats and when trying to do our washing, I asked reception if they could do a payment by card and give me the coins, the receptionist was unwelcoming and unhelpful as she said she could not help as the till would be unbalanced. I was not offered any alternative or given the slightest bit of sympathy. Seems like the only good thing is the tv. Will not be coming back. Which is disappointing because our last stay was amazing. Very poor.

Receptionist was friendly, but BEWARE, they want a copy of your licence AND Credit Card……… IDENTITIY!!!!!!|The room was clean and spacious but furniture arrangement was strange. The couch did not face the TV?????|One chair was unstable and dangerous and the toilet seat was unattached on one side.|We particularly chose this motel because their web site stated that the restaurant was open. Disappointment followed when we learned that the restaurant was not open on week nights at this time of year.

This is our 3rd time in Fairways Resort - always enjoy our staying quite and clean.

Quaint little spot close to Rosebud shops. Easy to get to and from for whatever reason, restaurant, supermarket, shops, petrol station etc. Lovely welcoming service. Neat and clean rooms. Nice enclosed little private yard with an outdoor table and chairs. Housekeeping ensured we had enough supplies like fresh towels and tea/coffee on day two to get us by. It was a nice quiet spot for our weekend away. Family friendly. Easy parking. Honestly, the only thing it's missing is the extra amenities that might make the stay a bit easier with kids like self-contained kitchen if it were a longer stay and the wifi wasn't too great. But it still has the basics that make it work like kettle, microwave & toaster for a weekend away. This didn't affect us too badly as we stayed the two nights. I would most definitely check back again for the above reasons with my children. Thanks for having us. ☺️

Spa room was great. large room with spa plus a separate bathroom with a shower, king size bed, king size TV and everything you need microwave, toaster etc. Plus your own private courtyard was Cosy and quiet. Loved it.

Staff were incredibly unhelpful when there was an issue with the booking through a booking agency. They just kept saying it wasn't their problem and so we didn't get the room we wanted. Not like the rooms were anything special. Felt like a motorin.

Having stayed here many times, I can recommend this resort for location and quietness. The rooms are reasonably priced, large and homely. The bathrooms are always clean, with fresh towels and toiletries.

We were given room 13, they knew that sometimes lock wouldnt work and got stuck. I dropped my husband to Truemans Rd. golfing range, and when I went to pick him up, I'd left my cars keys in the room. And couldn't get back in, the lock had seized...my husband had to start walking back from the range as it was closing and no taxi's or ubers were available. That ruined our stay and he was furious. They came and opened the door, offered us another room and expected us to move that night, but I said no, we're going to dinner b4 everything closed, and we'd move in the morning. The rooms were clean, but being near a golf course I needed to spray it thoroughly from spiders, cockroaches and mozzie. Not a great experience, but the do have a beautiful golf course. They told us later that they actually had a driving range. Bonus was at least they offered a complimentary bottle of champagne.

Disappointing to say the least. Room was in poor condition, bed incredibly uncomfortable with stained under sheets. The list goes on. Staff did not care, house keeping attitude was appalling. Location is fantastic very central to all things in the Penninsula. Resort needs to do a deep clean and ensure fixings are not stained or broken. ( toilet roll holder hanging out of wall, dripping taps, mouldy curtains, water damaged carpet, stained couch coverings)
