We had to go up alltogether at our large table and line up to pay for our meals. And no one else was allowed to order until our table of 10 was done. Only then do they send our whole tables paid meal requests to the kitchen to prepare! Surely in this day and age you would think they would have the electronic capabilities to accept money for meals from anyone in random order?

I ordered my lunch and they didn’t bring it because they forgot

First time visit, plenty of room, good size tasty meals, friendly service

Came here before Christmas for a family Christmas lunch, and the food was fantastic. If it wasn't so far from where I lived, I would come back regularly. I will definitely have to make a trip back in the future.

Great food, huge pub with plenty of food at decent prices.

Fantastic place to eat. Family friendly with a game room (although the games take tokens which need to be bought via a machine and the games do love to take tokens and not allow games to be played 🤔). Meals were delicious, and wait wasn't long for them to come out. Cocktails were bang on! Service staff were fantastic and efficient. Highly recommend for a great meal with the family. There is plenty of parking available too. Beer garden and restaraunt were quite clean and tidy.

Outstanding dining institution and I didn’t know this venue was formerly known as the Golden Harvest. The burger was superb plus a sticky date pecan pudding as it was good This venue has 8 viewing screens at each booth This is my third time here now.

First time to the V. Wife booked, and they gave us a both. Food came out quick for a venue that had maybe 60-75 in the restaurant. Kids got their meals. Age 10 & 5. Well, the table isn't close at all in the both, and the youngest reached for his meal, and the plate meets the floor. Me and the wife had to sit on the edge of the chair to eat. 10-year-old stood up and ate his meal. So after ordering a 3rd kids meal, we held the plate so it didn't hit the ground either. Don't recommend a both if you have kids. The tenders and the bruscetta were very good. Hot and crispy and well seasoned. Bruscetta was fresh and well balanced. Pizza wasn't too bad. The onion rings I wouldn't order again. Will return but will ask for a table.

The food was delicious the staff were curtious the hotel is spacious modern and caters to all clientele, one small hiccup was an elderly bar person, male with glasses was extremely rude to customers, but the other staff were wonderful, good atmosphere 😀

Dinner: Haloumi over cooked unfortunately 😒, salads too leafy. Kilpatrick Chicken snitty amazing 👌🏻. Dessert: Brownie overheated and chewy/dry. Sticky date amazing 👌🏻 Staff cheery.🍭

Unfortunately, I have had to re review my last 5 star review on the V Hotel. Mr Jarrod and all the crew at The V are usually very on point. Unfortunately, it wasn't communicated to us that some meals would come out 1 hour and a half later, or actually not at all. It is very disappointing as we frequently dine here, in smaller and larger groups. Money back for some people and a free drink that counts, and we understand you're always busy because the food is generally great, if cooked correctly. Jarrod was on today. Can you please pass on some feedback for the blonde manager giving refunds back? Maybe do so with a nicer attitude. No photos required for this team, just some feedback to grow from. Please don't forget about the larger tables. Everybody has a bad day, but today was disappointing. Won't be back for a while.

The food was amazing, good sized serves, all the dishes came out at the same time no-one was left waiting for theirs.

It’s disappointing long wait for meals,staff is blunt instead of being nice. It should be mention on their website of meal waiting 1 hours when you order.

We held a large function here for 200 people and the staff and management did a first class job. The food was on time and very nicely resented.

Had a small group of people, we all ordered right after each other; 2-3 of the meals came out about 15 minutes after. The next lot of meals came out more than an hour later, including a kids meal. Food was average at best. Had the salt and pepper squid, squid was ok, chips were definitely old (as in would have been fine if brought out at a reasonable time) Staff were friendly but overall the experience was something I wouldn't want again and overpriced for what was received and how. Do not recommend

Atmosphere is very relaxed. Great sports bar and meals were tasty and good size/value for money.

To be honest, not my side of the city, but what a surprise. Could not fault the food or the service. Was undecided on the rump or Skippy, asked the lovely lady when ordering, and went the kangaroo. I was not disappointed, and neither will you.

We went here for my nephews birthday. The food was very nice. The staff were fast and very good. The footy was on, so some members were very happy. The only problem was that it was very noisy. And it wasn't due to the footy on the TV.

I had a meal there it was kangaroo,I eat out regularly and have had kangaroo many times ,I'd have to say it's the best I've ever had, not tough. Everything around it was great, well done I'll be back

I visited here on Wednesday. It was very busy, and a bit disconcerting to be told there would be a 40min wait for our meals when ordering, but the staff were very friendly and the food was great.

Awesome food and great staff. Amazing sports bar and dining. Great little kids area too
