The place is in need of a Reno and some soft music would be good but overall the food was good and priced well .. Keep up the good work

Will never go back there. Thought we would support local and join club as well as have a meal there. Took half an hour to get 2 memberships completed then another half hour for our meals to arrive. Bangers and mash…..you know nice thick sausages, gravy and good old fashioned mash potatoes. Not here, the thin sausages had obviously been fried then gravy poured over them and the mash, well let’s just say those poor overcooked sausages needed flotation devices to be seen in what can only be described as slop. Chicken schnitzel arrived with no gravy although it was advertised and when I requested gravy young staff actually stood there and argued with me that gravy was a seperate $4…..finally got the gravy but even it couldn’t save the schnitzel. Awful service, boring atmosphere but the poker machines were deafening and disgusting food. Please don’t waste your time or your money😡

Was very taken back by the disturbing and uncalled for racist attitude of 1 particular staff member at lunch service today (8feb25) after playing round of golf with my work college we were having lunch when a young lady and her friend tried ordering meals. After a little bit of drama seems everything was fine when an older staff member who wasn't ths server approached the female who was at vending machine mind u and was asked for id. She showed id was still told to leave but bought up 2 points worth mentioning 1) not another person in meal area was asked for id I doubt anyone playing pokies was asked either. 2) child t en are allowed to eat at any licensed premises as long as accompanied by an adult . This lady had id and even so she didn't need it. If I had of seen this before ordering I would not if ordered at all. My college and I will be tee off somewhere else from now on. This staff member should quit be fired or get some training in diversity. Racism or culture bias behaviour should not be tolerated in the it's day and age but it seems it is!

Best chicken wings ever and just happen to get even luckier on a Wednesday night for $1 wings. Drinks were expensive though.

$20 lunch was actually pretty good, but the $5.70 drink was a bit steep.

Low quality steak full of gristle, frozen veges with no taste, wrong meal prepared and then taken back with no apology/compensation so one person could not eat with the group, unprofessional staff, leaks in the roof and totally drab atmosphere

This place has extremely little going for it. As I entered, the bartender was quite rude, and lacked a sense of humour. The club itself is baron. To put it simply, its a school hall with a bunch of tables and chairs. The TVs were tiny, so you couldn't visit if you wanted to watch the footy or something, there was no music, so it was absolutely dead. This is the worst club i have ever been too, and will not be returning. We left just after a drink, which was flat, without trying the food as the atmosphere was comparable to a funeral. I have no wonder why this place isn't well known, its so much more worth your time and money to go to falveys or yamanto tavern, about 10 mins away, or hotel metropole in brisbane street

We had our wedding here last Saturday. Glenda and the staff went above and beyond and made it a fantastic night. All our guests were impressed with the meal, staff and venue. And Glenda was amazing, she went out of her way to make sure everything was exactly as we asked, both in the function room and outside where the ceremony was held. Malcolm and I can't thank her and praise her enough for making our special day exactly how we wanted it. It was a magical night mad even more so with the way Glenda and the staff interacted with us AND our guests. Would recommend this venue to anyone that wants a low key , casual but very beautiful and well organised wedding or event. Thank you Glenda and all the team at The Ippy

Staff are friendly. The place is clean. Food is good. Bit pricey but still really good.

A group of us went there today for lunch whilst on a bus outing. The table had been pre-booked so they were expecting 19 of us. There were very few other diners there apart from our group. To begin with the ordering process was pretty slow. Another smaller group left the establishment from the ordering line as they were tired of the wait. A couple of meals arrived in a reasonable time, then in ones and twos over the next hour. 7 of our group had to wait for well over two hours for their lunch, with no explanation or apologies. This is totally unacceptable and ruined our day and put our times out for the rest of the trip. The staff were abrasive in their mannerisms and almost chucked the last plates down. We had politely asked three times if the remaining meals would take much longer and were told by a staff member, in a very gruff manner, that she would check but never reported back to us. Those ordering the roast beef and steaks found the meat to be very chewy and hard to eat. When they politely gave feedback to a staff member she blamed the butcher. If they knew there was a problem with the meat, why had they not been proactive in changing butchers, and changed the way of cooking? At no stage were we told the reason for the long delay and there was absolutely no apology. Treating customers like this is very stupid for the venue, who rely on their good name to stay in business. I advised the bus company what had happened and they were very embarrassed and will be putting this venue on their do not use list for the future. Evidently they have used them before and haven’t heard of any problems so they have lost a lot of business. Shame on them for treating a group of seniors who had been extremely patient and polite throughout the whole time we were on the premises. One member never got her dessert as we ran out of time and she had to get her money back.

I was there today with a group of 18 and the service was bad with no apologies for our meals taking from 20 minutes to 2 hours to get. I told them the beef was tuff I was told that they can't help who they get their meat from.

Awesome for a night out/in

Went there for lunch today to celebrate our daughter's birthday. The food selection is excellent, great value and we had a lovely meal. Will definitely be back. The staff were great too.

would not recommend having your wedding or event here, i had my wedding there end of may 2023 and the entire process leading up and during and after the wedding was disgraceful, the event coordinator would not listen to our idea's she was very set in her ways. she would always make sure we were aware that she was not getting paid to be at any or our meeting and that she was volunteering her time. we had to fight to get a time to set up the reception. and even then i was getting shut down on where i wanted things to go to the point i just gave in. The day of the wedding the wedding coordinator refused entry to the DJ so he could go set up in the room and at 1:30 was still setting up chairs when my guests were arriving, my sister, Celebrant and her husband had put all the chairs out and then they had to attach all our flowers to the arbour. Whilst the bridal party were off getting their photos done the wedding coordinator was rude to all our guests telling them that if the golfers wanted to come up they had to move from the seating area and stand out in the sun because the golfers had priority During out entrance the wedding coordinator was advised by myself, the groom and our MC that the wedding party would be doing our entrance to please make sure no one walked into the room in the meantime but she ignored all our wishes and as our MC announce the bridal party the wedding coordinator walked through holding her hands up and smiling (my photographers did not know she was not in the wedding party) so now i have no photos of our bridal party entering the room. the wedding coordinator was not supposed to be in the room until after the entrance and our first dance, she not only ruined the entrance photos but has photo bombed all of our first dance photos as well. During food service we had a buffet style dinner, she told people what and how much food they could take, it was a buffet so that way our friends and family could choose for themselves Throughout the entire day the wedding coordinator was rude and made sure she told everyone at the wedding she was volunteering her time to be there. I was unaware of all that had taken place that day until we had gotten back from our honeymoon when our friends and family let us know and we got to see our photos for the first time. we immediately made contact with the manager of the service, who met with us and but then proceeded to make excuses for the way the wedding coordinator had acted. The Venue put the blame back onto the photographers for us not having photos of our wedding party entrance even though the wedding coordinator knew what she was doing. It has taken me awhile to post this review as i have been very angry and upset at the lack of responsibility and accountability from the wedding coordinator and manager. and do not wish for this to happen to another bride or groom.

Such rude customer service. Returning keys and the lady with short brown bob cut ignored me and then continued to chat to her friends. She said to the kid in the bar to go get someone to serve me because she has finished her shift. Waited for another 5 minutes while she chatted to her friends . A group if people came up behind me to which she responded and served them straight away. I did say that I just wanted to pick up my license and drop the cart keys back and she responded well I'm not working. I think it's rude that she chooses who she can be bothered to work for. Very unprofessional. If that didn't make it worse a group of seniors were all grouped together smoking at the entry way , making me have to walk through their cloud of smoke. It clearly is not a smoking area.

Great food! Didn't know this place existed until I stumbled upon it on my morning walk. MASSIVE chicken parmys and the best garlic bread. 11/10

Small club built for purpose

Very nice club with friendly staff. Went there to play bingo and enjoyed our time. Serves up a delicious pizza. Well worth visiting.

A great club for after work drinks and a feed. Friday nights they have members draw and local meat tray raffles for local sport clubs. They have new staff in the bar and kitchen and they are kicking it 👍🏻 the menu is easy but the food is great and tasty. The staff are very friendly here. Friday nights are busy so best to book a table. Sign up as a member for a few dollars for 3yrs I think it was. You get food/drinks cheaper as a member and you build up points and can redeem for drinks/food.

What an awesome feed for an awesome price. Highly recomend the Pork Cutlet and the Mixed Grill! Really good food and very helpful, friendly staff.

Usually a good meal and great portion sizes, they have recently cut the portion size abit, and the chips as of the new menu seemed off used to love them, mash potato was abit lumpy also but I tend to find that everywhere I go these days unfortunately.

Worst golf course you will ever play so save yourself your time and money and go elsewhere. Every single bunker is marked gur, all greens are infected with dollarspot and the entire course is so poorly neglected its beyond belief. Leichardt is definitely the worst suburb in ipswich and the golf club fits in perfectly with nras housing surrounding the course. From the moment you walk into the club it will be clear profits and members are the last thing on the clubs priorities list. I highly doubt there is a worse run golf course out there

Great golf course, awesome views and a great mix of easy and harder holes. Only downfall would be the cart paths as they are just pretty bumpy.

Worst course I've played in a LONG time, the amount of neglect at that place was actually astonishing, across the board, please don't waste your money, looks to me like there trying to run it into the ground.

Staff are always so friendly .. lovely and clean .. currently a bit quiet because of the covid but like most places they are hanging in there for the visitor numbers to go back up.. so if you get a chance grab a group and make a booking and go enjoy a nice relaxing night out at a friendly place 😀

Well presented course. Good price and accessibility most days. Greater care could be taken in the cleaning of carts and other high use areas especially during key periods but otherwise a nice experience.

The overall experience was poor. Golf buggy’s were not available, and the server behind the desk made it seem like a large trouble for us to hire golf clubs. The bar staff were rude and abrasive, with any simple request seeming like a large trouble. The courses were littered with rubbish, and the members playing were extremely crude and disgusting. The whole experience was quite disheartening and I will not be back. Do not take your family here
