Lovely staff in the furniture area. Very helpful when my husband and I were shopping for a couch. The technical department is less helpful, but I think that's simply due to being very busy when I went.
Worst customer service ever. I ordered a fridge & a dishwasher. The fridge was broken & they wouldn't 'integrate' the dishwasher (the reason we purchased it.) In addition to the fridge being broken, their delivery men scratched my wooden floor. My current status is chasing them up daily for over a month to fix the floor, collect their dishwasher & reimburse my money. I regret the day I stepped foot in the place.
feeling absolutely upset. My mother who is a mental health nurse, has been working very hard and doing overtime, she wanted to reward herself with a TV, as she has recently moved from NZ to Melb. In NZ, She has always trusted Harvey Norman and so tried out Harvey Norman at Hoppers Crossing. Upon querying about a particular TV she has had her eye on for a while, she asked about any discounts or sales - as any customer does - she was met with blunt, abrasive rudeness that was unexpected and distressing. The ‘store manager’ shouted at her saying “do not come here begging at us! You are a beggar, You see the price, if you cannot afford it then maybe you should look at something cheaper, we are not here to negotiate with you”. My mother tearfully shocked at the hostility, asked to speak to the previous team member or someone else. The ‘store manager’ enforced that he is “the final manager, there is no one else to speak to and if she doesn’t accept the price, she can go somewhere else she doesn’t have to shop here” and then threatened to call security. Other store staff member came to de-escalate the situation and pulled my mother to the side, even apologising softly on the store managers behalf, when out of ear range, one kind staff member gently asking to speak as “woman to woman”. The staff members seemed just as shocked at the “Store Manager” outburst It’s rather upsetting and it seems this particular store manager Frequents this pattern of behaviour and attitude. Based on the reviews of this store. The store manager had not customer service skills and seemed to only want to show his place of authority, without any good leadership or diffusion skills. What is really sad is that my mother was originally discussing with a previous team member and were just about to agree on a price to purchase the TV, when the store manager unnecessarily interjected and steer-handled the conversation. This situation has shattered my mother previous long term trust in Harvey Norman, with quality product and customer service. Wondering if any Harvey Norman seniors are able to discuss the situation. I’ve only ever posted 2 reviews on google and this is the first negative one,
Very helpful and courteous staff and competitive prices
I ordered a Fan and due to this hotdays I urgently needed one. Next 3 days are becoming very hot and I desperately needed for an elderly person. I went to the store to pickup, after waiting more than 30 minutes at Click n Collect desk inside the store I have been told to collect from the back of the store - Warehouse. I gave the order number to the staff and after trying multiple times they were impatient with my order number and finally couldn’t locate it. Staff said their system was not showing anything about that order. After my multiple requests they checked with the inside store and told me that the order had been cancelled and money has been returned to my account. The truth is I did not get any email or notification of cancellation of the order and so far didn’t get any refund. This is outrageous that I had to organise my time, spent time for travelling to and from the store, and wasted 60 minutes for nothing rather than disappointment.
Terrible staff at the warehouse bunch of disrespectful people. Really disappointed
Worst customer service. I have spent so much money at Hoppers Crossing Store and have a problem with an expensive coffee machine and they never ever call back. The machine has broken 3 times now and they don’t care. Buyers beware of this store. Remember if you have a problem they will never call you back no matter how many follow up calls you make. Big companies all about the money, not customer service.
Ordered a Queen size mattress from Harvey Norman in Hoppers Crossing. The delivery was made at the my home, but only ground level. Apparently they only do ground deliveries. Do not buy anything from this store as they make you think deliveries are all included even if the property is a double storey. We regular customers, but you won't see us ever again!!
Visited the store last Sunday and attended to by salesgirl Sam. What a wonderful individual, polite and professional. She went out of her way to make sure I got the best deal. And what a sales person, she closed the deal with her professional approach and product knowledge. Convinced me to make my purchase. Harvey Norman, you lucky to have her on board.

Great store with a large selection. Most of my house items are from there because they have given great deals.
Poor service. They say on their website items available to order but don't know when stock will arrive. Be honest Mr Harvey and Mr Norman and just tell customers items is 'out of stick' before we order. Don't just take our money and make us wait for a an item NO staff member knows when will arrive....Still waiting for my refund through Afterpay. Never shopping Harvey Norman again. Will stick with JBHI next time.

Rude disrespectful staff that can’t update their policies ask to talk to someone further up the chain and get refused don’t bother purchasing from these clowns this is why I normally purchase from amazon and other online stores the disrespect and lack of customer service means the brick and mortar store will be a thing of the past

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Harvey Norman Hoppers Crossing, and I feel compelled to share it. I purchased a brand-new Tineco S6 vacuum cleaner, only to receive an item that was clearly in used condition. Naturally, I contacted the store immediately and emailed their team to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, no one returned my calls or responded to my emails. Frustrated, I decided to visit the store to address the matter in person. To my dismay, the store manager, Dave Morassi, displayed an unacceptably rude attitude. Not only did he refuse to provide a resolution, but he also failed to offer any apology for the inconvenience caused. Instead, he blamed me as the customer for whatever happened with the product and, shockingly, kicked me out of the store. This level of customer service is absolutely appalling. I expected better from a reputable company like Harvey Norman. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and questioning whether I would ever shop at Harvey Norman again. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements better training and policies to ensure no other customers have to endure such treatment.

A big retail store in Hoppers crossing, but a bit chaotic, so many staff but very few willing to help, didn't get the confirmation of my online order ready to be picked up in 3 hours. Don't waste your time inside the store, go starlight to customer pickup at the back of the store. Anyway a good bargain if you get special.
The store is disgrace to the Harvey Norman brand...bought goods from the store the sales rep advised will be getting 10% gift voucher at the counter At the checkout the manager (Dave)advised the sales rep made a mistake...hard luck we not going to honour it...requested the attitude not right why a mistake by a staff member should effect a consumer...he was like I don't care and go away I am a regular client bought close to $8k worth of merchandise in last couple of months but will not be going shopping at the store again
worst customer service I would give zero I bought a washing machine on 12/10/24. I have been told by staff that I will get an invoice and paperwork on email. But didn't get any email hence, followed up on 4/11/24 for invoice but they gave me excuse with saying system is down and will send invoice soon. Today, 30/11/24, I have called them 3 times but now thay are asking me to visit the store with photo ID to get the invoice, disconnected the call twice and Mr David called me back and rudely talked with me and told me that if i want invoice, visit the store. Very poor customer service, won't ever visit this store to buy anything. Attaching delivery messages screenshot so they can excuse saying I haven't bought anything.
Always prefer to buy from here. I'd definitely suggest to compare prices with others (jb hifi, officeworks etc.)

You promised that HN will take care service for any issues. You guys are just bother about your sales and not the service to the customer. When I speak to Jordan this morning, expecting a help regarding AEG dishwasher issue, haven't received any positive outcome. Please do not misguide Customers for your profits. The order got delayed for more than a month as well. All, I strongly recommend to avoid Harvey Norman - Hoppers Crossing store. They just rip us with wrong information. of course using their sales tactics.
My Elderly Dad went into the photo printing department today at Hoppers Crossing Harvey Norman and came across a young man named Xavier who was exceptionally helpful beyond all expectations. Dad hasn’t stopped talking about him since. Well done Xavier and thank You for helping my Dad ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
To my disappointment once the purchase of our new $1500 F&P washing machine and$1900 diswaher was concluded the customer service at Harvey Norman l anticipated stopped. Firstly, the crew which was supposed to remove the old washing machine and install the new machine simply unpacked it on the street, and then moved it into the hallway next to the laundry and left. According to the delivery driver they didn't have time to install it - even the delivery docket clearly stated. Nor did they take the old washing machine away. Further, after installing the washing machine ourselves we found that the hoses just barely reached the machine. So, l had to purchase longer hoses and fit myself. We've had the machine since 17 Nov 24, and it vibrants violently and makes a loud tapping sound during the spin cycle. My wife rang HN in Hoppers Xing and more or less told us it was our problem. Obviously, my sense of customer service is redundant. My wife and l have decided not to spend any more of money at HN, and are thinking about cancelling our dishwasher purchase before Christmas. Mr HN you really need to improve your customer service, particularly, your after sale service!!!
We have a dyson vacuum and we have a product warranty on it for 2 years, we dropped it to the store last week for product care! They told us it will take 2 weeks! We put a deposit for new one and aiming for 2 weeks to get new one! Today! I went to the store to check the status! Dave the manager! Told me it’s not even picked up by product care! And I need to use a mop! He said we don’t care about your situation it’s busy time! I’m really frustrated and upset from how he treated us! We are a very regular customer! Really is he a manager he doesn’t even have a basic communication skills! And what’s the point of buying a product care if I will wait for 4 weeks? I lost confidence in your service! I will never buy from hoppers crossing! Even they didn’t offer a loan vacuum! Seriously never again using this store!
Worst customer service I have ever seen in my life, they don’t respect their customers and even you buy extra warranty & try to use it for a faulty item (vaccum ) they punish you by making you wait 4 weeks to get it replaced, the rudest manager I have ever dealt with his I would not recommend dealing with this branch at all.
unfortunately had a very negative experience with the store manager. His attitude was unprofessional and dismissive, leaving me feeling disrespected as a customer. The manager’s behaviour was rude and unhelpful. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but customer service should always prioritize respect and professionalism. I hope the management team will take this feedback seriously, as this behaviour is not in line with the standard of service I expect. His behaviour towards his staff is also very rude and bossy. Have previously dealt with another manager and never had any problems, this particular guy appears have different attitude and disrespect. Have read previous review about his attitude and disrespect with other customers as well. So i am not surprised today. I will be reconsidering shopping here in the future unless this issue is addressed.
I had a terrible experience dealing with Parra at Harvey Norman. We purchased a sofa on 27/10/2024, which arrived damaged. It took almost 15 days to get a replacement, only for the replacement to also have issues – holes in the dust cover, stains on the fabric, and a damaged stitch. Even after receiving the replacement, I am still waiting for a resolution. Despite repeated follow-ups, I have not received any proactive updates. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and substandard service is simply unacceptable, especially from a brand as established as Harvey Norman. I expected much better customer service and product quality. This experience has been a waste of time and money. If you value good service and a hassle-free experience, I would recommend avoiding this store.
I went in to buy a fridge and a washing machine, and the sales associate Tran T was so very helpful (and patient!) with me. The fridge and washing machine have now been delivered without issue and I am very happy with them. Thank you again :)
We have purchased furniture over the years. Tracy from the customer service team is a delight to deal with. Always looks after the customers. We go around shopping and end up buying things from Harvey Norman.

Never use them again, at the time of sale they are so friendly and kind once they sale you something and you have an issue, they don't want to know you and don't help. When you insist they tell you where to go.

Absolutely Appalling Experience - Do NOT Trust Harvey Norman Hoppers Crossing I purchased a Robovac T30 on July 1st, and just a little over three months later, it stopped working—completely dead, not charging. And what do I get? ZERO responsiveness. They “might” be able to fix it in three weeks—which is unacceptable! Despite paying extra for their so-called “Care Plan,” they are doing absolutely nothing to resolve this. When I bought the unit, they were all smiles, raving about how amazing the Robovac was and pushing the extra coverage as peace of mind. Now, when the product fails, all I get is empty apologies and excuses. The most disgraceful part? The manager didn’t even have the decency to come and talk to us when we asked for help. When I requested information on how to submit a formal complaint, they casually told me to go to their website. That’s the level of “service” you get once they’ve taken your money. When I was spending thousands on a Robovac, TV, and fridge, they couldn’t have been more attentive smiling and following me around . But when it comes to standing behind their products and taking responsibility? Total neglect. It’s disgusting how quickly they turn their back on you. I’ll never set foot in Harvey Norman again, and I urge anyone reading this to avoid them at all costs. They are more than happy to take your money but won’t lift a finger when something goes wrong. Shame on you, Harvey Norman!
Very hard to get a help. Workers are always busy or not many people to serve
Me and my partner went into Harvey Norman and while looking at fridges for our first house. A rep named Tran came and spoke to us. He had a lot of knowledge and insight on his department we were impressed. Once we had decided on the fridge we wanted and that was right for us he helped us sort delivery then directed us to another great rep in the TV department who also helped us pick the best tv suited for us and talked to us all about the different tv wall mounts. Over all great experience shopping there and great knowledgeable staff.
Not a great experience, went to purchase a phone asked for a better deal like JBHIFI does even a price match instead I got offered expensive phone plans with telcos extended care warrantys and more, it makes it a very unpleasant experience as a customer nothing wrong with offering these services but don't force them on people when I come in to purchase just the one item.

If you're shopping here, definitely ask for Tran! My mother and I had been browsing all day at various stores, feeling overwhelmed by all the options for washing machines—different brands, sizes, and features. That all changed when we arrived at Harvey Norman and met Tran. He greeted us warmly, listened carefully to our needs, explained the differences between models, and went above and beyond to offer us a fantastic deal. We weren’t sure we were ready to buy until we met Tran! He’s such a kind, genuine, and honest person who truly wanted to make sure we were happy with our purchase. Our new washing machine is being delivered tomorrow, perfectly scheduled to suit our needs, thanks to Tran’s hard work and dedication. I had a very disappointing experience with this store. We purchased a bed frame, and after using it for a few weeks with our mattress, the mattress became damaged. The bed frame also began sagging in the center, becoming completely unsupportive. When we tried to claim the warranty for the bed frame, the store refused to provide any assistance. To make matters worse, the manager was extremely rude and dismissive throughout the process. The customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful, making the situation even more frustrating. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

It is a very good furniture and electronics store in Hoppers crossing, I visit it often and have been a customer since last 4 years, however there are a few rotten eggs which severely damage the reputation of Harvey Norman. I would particularly like to point towards the dark Indian looking guy with curly hair in the CCTV camera section (my latest encounter with him was today 25/08/2024 in the afternoon). He is genuinely rude towards customers. If there were an exam to measure the arrogance, he will pass with flying colors :) And by the way this is not the first time I felt this way for this guy. Advice to the management of Harvey Norman Hoppers crossing - the sooner you get rid of this guy, the better it would be to boost your customer service (and sales obviously).
I’m writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I’ve received despite having purchased product care. Here are the details: I bought an LG refrigerator along with product care in 2022 from Harvey Norman, Hoppers Crossing, Victoria. On August 21, 2024, I contacted the store, and Mr. Sheriff promptly assisted me, stating that he had raised a claim and that the product care team would contact me shortly. On August 22, I followed up with the store. Mr. Sheriff assured me that everything was handled and advised me to call 1300XXX for further assistance. When I spoke with Mr. Roven (apologies if I’ve misspelled the name) at that number, he mentioned that there was no claim on file and couldn’t locate my invoice. I asked if we could conference Mr. Sheriff in, but Mr. Roven declined, assuring me that he would follow up with the store and call me back. I never received that call. I called again and spoke with Ms. Poomy (apologies if I’ve misspelled the name), who seemed to follow a management-provided script. She raised a claim, gave me a claim number, and stated that someone would respond within two business days. I expressed my urgency as all my food had spoiled, and I was hosting guests over the weekend, but her response remained scripted—two days for a reply. Today (August 23), I called again, and a gentleman answered, but the line was unclear. From what I understood, they had received a reply and now needed to raise a claim for a replacement, with a response expected in two business days. Due to the poor connection, I asked him to call me back, which he assured he would, but I never received the call. An hour later, I called again and spoke with another representative (unfortunately, I didn’t get her name). She reiterated that it had only been one day since the claim was raised and that I should expect a response on Monday, which will be the second business day. Since it’s pending in a different department, she is unable to take any action. Despite expressing my frustration and urgency, I received the same scripted reply. It has now been 72 hours since my first interaction with Harvey Norman, and I have received no updates or clarity on when this issue will be resolved. This is extremely disappointing, especially after paying extra for Gold services. If management wishes to review the call recordings, please contact me, and I will share my contact number. While I have outlined my broad frustration here, I am also aware of several customer process issues that I’d be happy to discuss if Harvey Norman is interested in improving its customer experience. I look forward to your prompt resolution of this matter at the earliest.

All I can say is if you don't enjoy what you do, then maybe it's time for a change of job. Because of you, I will never shop at Harvey Norman Hoppers crossing. As I can't believe you are in a customer service, managerial roll with the attitude you have. There was no reason for you to be so disrespectful and condescending, which led me to abusing you in store in front of other shoppers. But someone needed to call you out on the piece of work you are. Whether it was racially motivated, I guess we will never know. After all the years and money I have spent in Harvey Norman Hoppers crossing and the relationships I built with the likes of Toc and Brook who were both fantastic to deal with and an asset to HN, to now dealings with you? See Tran in white goods if you want an honest salesman who’s looking out for you. Accommodated our needs, no pressure to upsell. Went above and beyond. Just wanted to give us the best deal at the highest level of service to suit our needs. Very happy with the service and helping us out with the wash tower. 👍
Extremely poor customer service for games/headphone section. The sales representative was extremely lazy and inefficient. Went to a close by electronic shop and was able to get the product without hassle. If you have all the time in the world and want to waste it while paying for time being wasted, you should visit them.
I went to complain about my washing machine which makes noise. There is customer service person try to explained the problem and process how we can book service. Same time two others package fridge and one of them intentionally makes cell tape noises which is irritating us and shows us how good customer services there . When sales person asked him to stop he rudely said use your leg and walk away from this place. He should learn manners and training how to speak front of customers so far I visited there second time had very bad experience.

Harvey Norman Hoppers Crossing: Unprofessional and untrained staff, hopeless support, rude delivery drivers and assembly staff. Lack of knowledge, only after sales and putting things on invoice without thinking that customer would need installation of 100kg marble tv unit. Nothing offered! Incomplete job, drivers left without any communication or help. This is the service customers get from Harvey Norman Hoppers Crossing after paying grands!

Struggling with the LG dishwasher which is under the warranty and had product care extra. From Last two week I contact them and and they said will ring me back and sort out the things, They are ignoring and never ring me back they said LG company will respond me when I ring the back, Harveynorman is not responsible. I recently had a very disappointing experience at Harvey Norman Hoppers crossing while trying to collect a click and collect order. As instructed online, I waited in the designated waiting bay for over 15 minutes, but no one attended to me. When I finally called for assistance, I was redirected to another loading dock. The team member I spoke to, Ridley, was abrupt and then hung up on me. This level of poor customer service is unacceptable. It's no wonder Harvey Normans are closing down if they employ such unhelpful and rude staff.

David and his team deal with issues quickly and professionally. Great price for Sony soundbar and in stock today. David is a credit to the Harvey Norman brand. I have bought many Audio/Visual products and whitegoods here over the years and always been impressed by the customer service. You can't go wrong with this outstanding store. Buy with confidence.

Worse was when she started mumbling about my kids right behind where i was trying sitting on sofa.. We have bought sofa dining n bed but not from you guys .just because of that lady... I hope the management realise how bad staff can get you loss. I didnt say anything to her as i felt pity for her for working in a field for job not passion.

After getting a terrible support from Samsung and spending too much time back and forth, got my store credits approved. From there it was smooth sailing. Jordan made the TV replacement so easy and hassle free. Shout out Daniel for quickly providing the receipt that I needed for proof of purchase, Tom and his mate for installing the replacement TV.
