Going with the times you would think the store would have increased staff by now. Have attended this store sadly numerous times & hours and service hasn't improved. Why not go to another store, sadly this is the closest to me. Today's experience isn't any better. Waiting in the printing area, we were here almost an hour. You would think that they would supply seats or a beverage for everyone's inconvenience. Officeworks about time you get with the times. No good advertising if service is so slow....

Staff were fun, plenty of stock and sale items. I found and got what I needed is a short visit. Wasn't too busy, so it was good to have staff available for help.

I love Officeworks. Whether you purchase in store or online, they are the best for all your office and school supplies. Good job, Officeworks.

Just popped in to purchase a JBL flip 6 and the recommended retail price was $169. Jason at the Croydon store price matched and beat it by 5% and my end price was at $106.40. Service was excellent prompt and on point. Thank you

Kyle (? Heavily tatted, working the print desk) absolutely saved scrapbooking day today! He helped me print a bunch of PDFs all loaded with photos and was so patient and helpful the whole time. I wish we did tipping in Australia so I could tip him. Without his good humour I might've had a true meltdown by the self serve printers. Thank you Kyle!

get self-checkouts if you train your incompetent staff at the checkout to chat and waste 15 minutes on one customer when there's many people behind with 1 or 2 items in their hands.

If I could give a ZERO star, I would. Went in to this store to get a Google Pixel phone, JB hifi is doing cheaper deal for the exact same model. Spoke to a curly black hair guy, he checked and said there was one in stock, and should be able to price beat JB’s deal. He went into the back for a good 10 minutes, and came back said he couldn’t find it at all even online says they have stock, and referred me to the next nearest store. When I got back to the car like 1 minute later, I tried to check stocks for prospect store and call to reserve, I found the price was updated on the website to the same price to JB HIFI. This is absolutely ridiculous, your policy says one thing, but how you implemented it was to lie to your customers that you dont have stock and then update the price online so you dont have to do price beat. Don’t set up this policy if you can’t do it. This is absolutely disgusting. How the guy handle this was absolutely disgraceful and disgusting.

I bought a Letra Tag label printer online on the weekend and I already had it delivered today. 1 business day. To the other online websites out there - you really need to take note of what good, fast delivery is like Officeworks offer their customers.

Wait 20 mins to get my poster. Other staff not come to help and talk with them. Fell so bad

Went to buy the IPhone 16 pro max today and the lady told me it was out of stock (which I understand), however when I asked her if there was stock at any of the other stores, she said no, and that it was sold out everywhere (I had her check on the system as well). I called up Officeworks Prospect and Parafields, and they said they had 3 left. Did she not want to sell to me or maybe she didn’t know? It seemed to me that her attitude suggested she didn’t want to sell it to me.

David was super helpful at the self serve printing counter! Yay!

extremely slow service, no sense of urgency of customer’s time. Employees just chatting with each other instead getting job done. The store in Gawler Place does an excellent job and is very friendly and fast in serving customers, this store needs to take notes.

I attempted to use the self service online tools to get some custom 14 label sheets printed at croydon officeworks using the template provided. However, I noticed it wasn't aligning properly within the print area so I decided to call cryodon officeworks for advice. Jasmine assisted me with my enquiry promptly with only 30 minutes left till their store closed. She went above and beyond to ensure the labels lined up to the best of her ability even following up with a phone call after some trial and error. She got them printed right away and ready for collection the following day. Superb customer service!

I wish I read the reviews before printing photos here, used the self service machine, which was quite easy to use and now they take cc, which is a huge plus compared to their silly little card loading they used to make you do, however this is where the good bits end. The photo quality is so poor, I really don’t understand how they can be so bad, have made my iPhone 16 Pro photos look like they were taken on a camera from the 1780’s! Blurry, cold and to top it off, not even to the standard 4x9”(10x15cm), they’re off by enough to not fit my frame and now I’m having to cut them to size, absolutely shocking.

Extremely poor printing service. This was our local but we now travel further for better printing. Printing staff need better training.

Bad experience with the quality of photo prints. I’d recommend you save your time and go elsewhere. The staff were good and gave me a refund.

Poor customer service from Sarah and what appeared to be her bloke manager in the tec section checkout. Stood at the checkout for 30+ seconds without anyone even looking up or acknowledging my existence until they finished their conversation.

Didn’t really like the service and staff was too rude to serve the customer

Came in Friday evening and needed help making 6 player cards for my Soccer club presentation. The amazing staff took extra time to work with me on the type of card, size and picture type. The end result would have been terrible without their support.

Please run a cleaning cycle on the self serve printers, documents are produced with streaks and smears.

Had a bad experience with this particular store. Bought DVD player ,was not satisfied with the function so wanted to return within change of mind policy days. The staffs were very rude. Not recommended.

Croydon Officeworks is in a convenient location and services so many people in the areas that surround it. That’s the only good thing about it. Everyone I know that goes there has a poor experience, waiting for ages for printing, being told to print things yourself, there’s never anyone around to help you (which is in stark contrast to how it used to be), machines are always broken and everything is always a hassle, sick of wasting money and time here. If you can go somewhere else, my advice is you do. Prospect Officeworks is much better.

Excellent staff & customer service skills. Staff officer, Ta , is excellent in professional & interpersonal skills. He provided excellent service, discounted the product & ensured that should we come to the store after he had left that another staff person, Michael would be appraised of all the details of our proposed purchase to assist us. This is exactly what happened with Ta & Michael assisting us. Thankyou.

I felt terrible for being so unknowledgeable about the whole printing process in the Print + Copy area but, the young man there was very helpful and patient with me and tried to help me understand. I was very shocked to find out he only started a few weeks ago, He seemed an expert! There was also a friendly young woman there. I was quite pleased with my photos and the service. I am sure I will be returning if i ever require the service.

Very very slow service Staff is unhelpful

BE AWARE OF THE PRICES SCANNED IN COMPARISON TO THE SHELF PRICE! Bought an external hard drive advertised at $94 and they tried charging me $104 on the computer. I made them aware of the difference/discrepancy and the staff had no interest in listening to to issue until I told them this is reportable to the ACCC and this product should be given to the customer as the fines outweigh the cost of the product so BE AWARE OF THE PRICES SCANNED IN COMPARISON TO THE SHELF PRICE!

Poor service and the younger staff have no communications skills. I returned an item that was sold to me damaged. When I returned just 30 mins later to get the item replaced, no one apologised for the inconvenience until the mature staff took over. Train younger staff in their people and problem solving skills ! They had no idea. The mature staff solved the issue thank you

I'm an Early childhood educator and this place is my heaven. I always go and use the self service printers, I also love the stationary stuff, you can even find child safe music percussion instruments there. This place saves me so much time from wandering around different shops to buy different things.

I came here and asked for exactly the same thing I had asked a few times in other office works. It took longer, it was harder to explain and more than anything it got done much much worse. Really bad Vicki.

You guys need to seriously put more staff on the floors on the weekends. There is never any help around

As a 70+ dithering lady I was so fortunate to be assisted by a young man, Joseph. I had purchased a new phone and was so overwhelmed with transferring data and setting up new phone. I also needed to buy a hard drive to back up my Mac. Joseph painstakingly took me through the steps explaining things Thank you so much

Very bad customer service at the printing Service. They refused to serve me and essentially told me to come back another day even though they said the task would take 10min and there was 30min before close. This is Croydon office works South Australia

Disappointing customer service. I had to wait longer than I should have for myself and the lady in front of me to be seved by the two younger ladies at the print collection part of the store, they were talking to each other in sight of us and made no effort to come over to us (zero sense of urgency to greet customers). Also seemed very confused trying to find my order. It was not busy at the time. Very clean store and other members kf staff were all smiles which was lovely.

It does not take over 15 minutes to pick up the phone

Great store for all your office, computer and stationary supplies. Recently used their online ordering with home delivery and it was an easy experience. Website was simple to navigate, delivery was fast, inexpensive and product was delivered perfectly.

Had an online order that was delivered. I ordered 300bubble wrap bags. Beyond disappointed with how they were packed into the box, just shoved in carelessly. Have spent a couple hours piling them up and tying them into neat stacks. It would have been much appreciated if they had been stacked neatly into the box.

Came in this evening to purchase a pair of speakers and an office chair, the store was well organised and easy to find things. The lady at the counter was very polite and cheerful, and immediately got someone to go help my mother with the chair, which was too heavy for us. The young man that helped was not only kind enough to carry it to the counter, he offered to carry it out to our car far in the parking lot!! Special kudos to Jared for that! We are very appreciative for the good service ☺️☺️

Had a disappointing experience at Officeworks last week. I enquired about split payments, and despite being told it was possible, I faced issues with the EFTPOS machine. The manager decided to process a refund without consulting me on my preferred resolution. The lack of communication and understanding was unprofessional, causing unnecessary frustration. It's crucial for staff to consider customer preferences before making assumptions. Hoping for improved customer service in the future.

A couple of weeks ago called in at night & needed help with photocopying & photos Jasmine could not do enough for me So thankful to her have always had top service at this store with Michael Than Josh & many others over many years whose names i cant rememberThankyou

Was looking for a scrapbook and Matilda who was only new, went above and beyond to look for some even tho they weren’t on the shelf. Found them out the back and brought them out, can’t fault the service!

The last few times I have visited Officeworks they have been so unhelpful at the printing desk. They really do not want to help and send you to self serve. When I said I preferred to speak to a human the attitude and tone of the customer service staff member Angelina was atrocious. I listened to her serve the next client and no improvement there either. With 0 people in the queue and being the first person in the store I expect much better. Is that too much to ask?

Wow! Exceptional customer service by the girl named Uj. She didn't seem to care that we were waiting for her service. I have been a regular customer at this office works for so many years and never had such a bad experience.

30 minutes waiting to book binding in. The excuse she had was because the person before me had waited longer. So I had to wait longer too, even though I don't need any printing - only booking in. Another staff had 1 customer the entire time, the other staff can't help booking in for binding (not trained?). Way too slow!

Quick and efficient team, Michael swiftly assisted & sorted my Tech trouble within minutes. Gave a good deal as well, Thank you Croydon team🙂

Went to print photos. Was on machine choosing photos to print and it was getting near closing time. Was told despite already being in shop and ready to pay and print with at least 5 minutes left that they wouldn’t allow me to receive my photos. I cancelled the prints and left. They couldn’t keep the door open to provide a service to those already mid way through because they wanted every one out. Avoid this shop

Ayush was really professional, efficient and knowledgeable. I came in with an enquiry regarding the Officeworks price beat and Ayush did not hesitate to help me find the best deal. I came in, got what I want, got it even cheaper than what I expected and left as a happy customer in less than 5minutes. 10/10

Waiting for over 30 minutes to be served at the printing area, only two people working and the line was 6 deep. Appalling!!!

Waiting in line to get photo copies done. For the lady behind the counter to not even acknowledge that we were there. Had to walk and find someone else to serve us!!! Very poor customer service by the lady behind the counter. If she was busy she could have said something on the lines of I'll be with you shortly" BUT nothing was said at all."

Short of staff everytime .. long queue over the weekend just keep waiting for hours to be attended

I went in last week on the 14 to do some photo copying and had to use they new printers and pay up front $20 but only used $12.16. and was told it would be back in my bank in 2 days its the 22 now and on money .and I was told have to chase it up my self not happy

Got passport photos taken for myself and my son. Literally the worst photos of us ever. Then when I lodged the passport application I was informed that the passport photos were non compliant with australian passport requirements (not clear enough and poor colour), and that this particular officeworks in known by Australia post passport lodgement staff to be regularly non compliant.

Wow! I called this store up before coming in for faxing services! They said they could… once arriving their staff seemed confused by the word fax. Unbelievable! Then after waiting ages for a senior employee who might know the workers had to read instructions on how to do so.. but not before insulting me and my reason for coming in. Pathetic excuse for customer service!

The most recent review here states that the manager Lauren at the print and copy area took hours and could not make eye contact which I find ridiculous. I have been going to this Officeworks for many years and since this manager has been working here, things seem to be running alot smoother if anything! Seems like someone is holding a grudge.

Extremely unorganized, the manager Lauren could not even look me in the eye when talking to me at the print and copy which took hours to even begin. Unbelievable.

Went in the other day to collect a large print I ordered. Got to the counter and the girl let me know I can do printing like a click and collect order now and pick it up from the collection point at the front of the store - just show order paper or the message that said its ready. The two lines for orders and collecting are already a step up but this is a game changer. Those lines can get so long at the printing desk. Will be in and out so fast now.

Absolute Worst first thing in the morning getting a few dozen a4 Black and white prints should be easy but your new printme system print all the pdfs in email has to be 1 at a time and reset size and colour every print ? Who do I send my hours sheet to I spent half an hour trying your system is a joke your self entitled staff are condinsending in the end I end up paying twice as much as should have been rubbish service guys

JD delivered top notch customer service. Carried heavy goods all the way to car and was incredibly patient and helpful. Much appreciated.

Went in early this arvo to get some stuff printed for work. When I arrived I saw they had a sign saying some things would be delayed because new printers were being installed. Was asked what I needed printed and the guy working told me it was all good to get my stuff printed. When I got to the front of the line. I was helped by a lovely girl, Jasmine I think her name was, and she was super sweet and helped me out!! I thought I’d have to come by later in the day to pick up my stuff but was told it would take 15 minutes - brilliant!! Couldn’t be happier with the result and the customer service was top notch :)
