Went looking for a specific vinyl and ended up asking a guy with long black hair think his name was mitchi? Absolutely phenomenal customer service, personable, and helped me find exactly what I was chasing. An absolute asset to the company, will definitely come back to JBs Mile end

Great customer service!! I approached them with a device that turned faulty all of a sudden and the customer service representative examined the device thoroughly to confirm it’s not my fault and had replaced it with a brand new one through the warranty without costing me.

Abysmal service trying to purchase headphones today. About 5-10 different people waiting for service around the phones/smart watch/headphone section. Only one staff member was in the area and preoccupied with this one group for almost half an hour. Service lady near the front did not notice the situation or attempt to assist the 5-10 of us waiting. Myself and a few others ended up leaving to shop elsewhere.

Awesome staff customer experience, abysmal corporate customer experience. Went into JB-HIFI Mile End to look at Surface Pro 11's with my wife and get her to choose the colour she likes. The staff we amazing and explained to her the various different options for the keyboard and pen add-ons. Once she decided on colour we were informed that they had neither the Surface or the keyboard and Pen in that particular store but according to their systems could get both shipped from other stores or the warehouse with an estimated delivery of about a week and since they weren't in store they would waive the delivery fee. We happily agreed and paid for both items. The Surface arrived as expected after the usual tracking updates. However, after a week there were no updates and no keyboard or pen delivery. Enquiring in store I was told the keyboard and pen had been packed, despite no tracking update. Subsequently enquiring via email via the online portal resulted in nothing beyond the automated email reply after a week. Waiting for 4 hours (in which time they handled only 70 queries from the queue, minus those that gave up waiting) for a response to online chat resulted in them informing me that they could not access information relating to in store orders. Calling the store resulted in them offering to refund my money now that they had determined they actually had no stock in the country, but that I would have to come to the store to receive my refund. After attending the store and speaking to a manager to get the refund they told me there was nothing they could do beyond giving me a refund, despite their systems have completely failing to inform me that there was no chance they could deliver the keyboard and pen within a week let alone much longer since they had none in the country, despite telling me their systems said it had been backed, despite not responding to my email enquiry, despite not being able to answer my queries through online chat after a 4 hour wait, despite not recognising that my order could not be fulfilled in time and notifying me, and despite my having had to return to store to get a refund. Fortunately I have purchased said keyboard and pen in the colour of our preference from a competitor with stock. Thanks again to all the staff involved. No thanks to the corporation of JB-HIFI.

We received exceptional service from Liam He organised for assistance in setting up the smart watch we purchased and said we would be contacted by that team first thing on that morning. By 11am no contact had been made. Liam was not rostered on that morning unfortunately. He should be . He is the best retail assistant we have ever experienced. in the meantime we are still waiting patiently but disappointedly for the setup service team to make contact............... I spoke to a 'manager' named Brook. He told me he would contact the service team and find out the problem. He called back to say that we would receive a call from the technician He called and said he would be at our home at 2.30 pm He finally arrived at about 4.25 pm. A most frustrating day and very disappointing Will i return to JB HI;FI ? Not very likely

The outlets are all the same however, only Mile End have Jai and Holly. Their customer service skills keeps me coming back. Really nice people who are honest about the products they sell. Yeah forget the rest 🙏🏻

This is my local . Everytime I gone I had awesome service . Today I bought 2 smart watches . The 2 people that I spoke to where extremely helpful and friendly .

Very poor customer service. Went in the store to buy a rice cooker where there was a staff nearby who didn't greet us which is fine. But she disappeared just when we needed someone to assist with the item where we had to ask one of the staffs at the phone section with no customer as he called for another person to come. Unfortunately there were no staff able to come where there wasn't any customer at their section as they couldn't spare a 2 minutes to help other customers who willing to spend money at the store 🤷 weirdly 🤦 also tried to find a Nintendo 12 months membership card which was miss placed but non of the staff able to help where us as customer had to solve the problem ourselves. We don't work there but we had to run our own customer services for the store. How ridiculous!

You know, I remember my first experience visiting a JB HiFi store back in the 80's in Dandenong, Victoria. It was the only store I knew of where you could buy import music and great sound systems. Who would have thought that in 2024, JB's music section is shrinking to be almost non existent, their movies section is going the same way and they sell more coffee machines and robo vacs than sound systems. It's a tragedy to be honest. (Google - start paying me for my reviews!!!)

After being recommended a more expensive tv that sits flush on the wall. The tv has been installed with a 40mm gap. The first installer could not find the beam and told me to arrange a builder. The builder told me there was already a beam???? Unnecessary rescheduling that takes me 4/5 hours away from work. Then to get them back to fix they ignore me for weeks on end. Finally a date to fix (possible hide the cables) they cancel in the day. Won’t be going back.
