To be Honest this was the worst dinner myself and friends have had in a long time if you look at my past reviews you will see that I'm fair in judgement of venues. I will not recommend this place to anyone. I think the staff should try the food that's sent back before commending the cook.

A miserable, drag dining room was fitting to have one of the most low-effort, uninspired chicken burgers of my life. Won't be making this mistake again.

The Flagstaff used to be a 'good' hotel with a 'good' bistro but now, well, not so much. A few weeks ago they stopped stocking Bitters, so now no Lemon, lime and bitters or Manhattans! Tonight however they've stooped to a new, unforgivable, low, no lemon wedges for the chicken schnitzels! Combine with the poor service (the few servers appeared to be run off their feet) I'm sorry to say that I can't recommend this hotel any more.

The bistro is so depressing looking now without the salad bar. This place used to be bustling, now it looks on the verge of closing down. Food was fine. I'm not sure why you pay so much to be in the bistro when you aren't getting much more than being in the front bar? All cooked in the same kitchen by the same cooks? Needs an over haul.

This trip might of been my quickest in and out. My cash went in and I went back to the car. *NOT THE VENUES FAULT* it is a great visual pub, good machines. Sorry that's all I got to see.

Decent menu and prices. Good range of gluten free options which is appreciated. A little education of the staff is needed, friendly and efficient but keep your fingers off the eating surfaces of the cutlery when setting tables.

$40 2 Schnitty with jug

Last year, went and couldn't eat my food cos the meat was funky and gross, ended up in hospital with what I did eat. Thought due to the long time between I'd come back try again. My schnitzel was rank... The chicken was tough, and stinky, the overweight manager has a serious attitude, saw him get nasty with other customers who complained, got nasty with us and they're not accommodating at all here. Really gone down hill, they charge an arm and a leg for a meal I might as well pay $3 for in the frozen section at woolies. Highly reccomend not wasting your time here, and if you have dietary requirements deffinetly don't come here, they will only treat you like you're annoying them.

Nice meals

Had lunch there yesterday and I ordered the Prosciutto wrapped chicken. When it came out thought it looked odd as there was only stuffed chicken and a plate full of garlic sauce. They forgot the polenta chips. Very disappointing. Floors hadn't been cleaned from the night before. Fork and straw under the table.

We used to love coming down here before they have best buffet,service was good,staff is great!Only reason I give two stars is because chicken schnitzel is ok.My partner had a house special steak and got upset stomach after that,veggies look like they came from a frozen packet!

It was okay, when we asked for spaghetti bolognase they gave us neapolitan spaghetti. So i was disappointed with results. Customes service was sub par but one of the staff members displayed excellent qualitities as an efficent and hard working worker. Thank you for your time, i enjoyed it but wont continue to go there in the future. I will think of it more as a been there done that experience. Thank you Flagstaff hotel!

Staff are nice food is good some food prices are a little high but not too bad, but the reason we came here was because our two children wanted to play the ipads but only 4 out of the 8 were working and I asked a staff member if they could help but they said the manager is busy in the kitchen so not sure if she can help. Kids are upset about it

The Bottle-O blokes are the most lovely you've ever encounted. Amazingly consistent customer service for over 10 years! Also a pretty nice selection of drinks that you sometimes can't find elsewhere.

The meals were average. Poor selection for seniors. Carrot cake was dry and so hard it was difficult to cut with a spoon.
