Atmosphere was absolutely rubbish abs solo singer was terrible people if you’d calm them that were arrogant I can’t believe this place the food was the worst in a long time I’ll say the only good thing was the xpa ,hazy pale ale and hot chips,definitely just a beer and chips next time and sit outside away from the flocks of So 59$ steak was absolutely rubbish worst ever The chicken burger has been changed to some crap fillet and weird sauce like mixed left overs and added tangy sauce to taste the original crispy chicken burger was 100% better and bring back the buffalo wings ffs oh yeah the the Peri peri chicken pizza was dry too not much going for the joint other then beer and chips

Went for lunch today and ordered the duck salad and halloumi burger, food was very average for the price. The duck salad didn’t have any duck in it and when I complained none of the staff was actually too bothered. I won’t he heading back there again

We had a fantastic time celebrating my mother-in-law’s birthday at Marsden Brewhouse with family and friends. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was absolutely superb—warm, inviting, and perfect for a special occasion. A huge thank you to Michelle and Fibriana for their exceptional service; they were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend this place!

Celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday last Sunday and it was amazing. Most of the guests are so satisfied with the food and the place. Very thankful to all the staff who catered us specially to Fibriana and Michelle who are very friendly and helpful

Food is absolutely bad and way too expensive. Good place to get some drinks that’s it.

We used to visit regularly but so disappointed with a recent visit. Had to return a main meal and ordered pizza instead. I would not stray from pizza and burgers. The pasta meal I ordered looked nothing like the menu and was terrible. However the worst was the service. Virtually non existent. And if you asked for any service you felt like you were disturbing those working there, asking for utensils for example. Not sure what has changed but we won’t be back.

Very understaffed, We went there Sunday night, there were massive lines at the bar with only one staff on per bar and one on for taking dinner orders, considering it was very busy. The staff that were there were lovely and the food was good

I can’t imagine how a place like this is still trading! The food is terrible and the service is even worse. Ordered different foods and drinks: the largest soggiest old “roasted” potato, the oldest sweet potato chips probably fried a day earlier, a pizza worst than domino, and a Caesar salad with chicken pieces like stone and bacon strips which resembled anything but bacon….. all of these double the price you get in an average pub! And the drinks; one didn’t actually exist despite the fact it was in the menu, and the other one was delivered to the table wrongly…. What a terrible place..

So, so disappointing. We had often driven past and commented on how inviting it looked, a very attractive building. Finally had a chance to try it out. We ordered the crumbed Dory and the Wagyu Cheese Burger. The Dory was so over cooked, the crumbing very dark and the fish curled up hard. The salad on the plate consisted of a large handful of sad looking lettuce leaves with a few bits of cucumber, tomato and onion on top, and it was warm so not even kept chilled!!! The Cheeseburger was even more disappointing. The Wagyu beef pattie was so dry and overcooked it was grey - very unpleasant. Sadly despite the great venue, the food was terrible, especially for the prices. We will not make the effort to stop there again.

Please teach your chefs how to cook a steak. Ordered a medium-rare scotch fillet and got blue, took it back and got well done. Not worth $50

Overall, good food, great drinks, amazing environment and ambience, however disappointing staff and shocking organisation. I had a booking made for 12th Jan, which I made in person in Early/mid November. This was for a birthday party and originally booked outside. During this time I got no confirmation emails/texts or communication. I called in Early Jan to change my booking to inside which they said they couldn't do. My friend then called and asked the same thing which they said that they could do yet again no communication to myself. Delicious food and drinks! On the day, staff were quite unpleasant and rude. I felt my party was given no care. Still a clean and spacious environment yet very disappointing in their service.

Some more options to veg and chicken would be good.

Be very careful! Ordering food after 9pm if you’re with kids as food takes about 30ish mins and they’ll kick you out at 10pm as they don’t allow kids after 10pm.

A very spacious and well appointed tavern.. A good menu to select from with a wide range of locally brewed beers. Pizzas were a hit. Fast service.

Nice place, service is terrible, not greeted or anything upon entry even when walked passed the bar, was looked at and just stared at, maybe say hello? Ordered a chicken ceasar salad for $32 that came with refrigerated grilled chicken... either frozen or cooked and refrigerated and it was barely grilled. Ceasar dressing tasted 'fishy' my first bite I thought I was eating seafood salad with crab. $23 Ceasar Salad from Riverstone RSL club shits all over it.

Amazing staff that helped accommodate my group and made sure we were well looked after. Food was great and variety of drinks available. Kids enjoyed the play area and had lots of fun.

What a worst experience I had at this place. Service was worst. When we ordered the food and asked for cutlery, we were told there is nothing left and one of the waiters was piling up the plates and cutlery at one place and didn't took anything in the kitchen to wash. Such a bad atmosphere and ambience. Would never recommend anyone to visit this place.

Usually the food is good here but today Had the pork schnitzel was over cooked and too dry, it’s better for the one who cooked it to do kitchen hand and wash the dishes! didn’t enjoy my meal and waste of money no more having food here.

Sunday afternoon after Christmas, place was pretty quiet at 245pm but enough staff around you'd think to look after you. Ordered at 3.10pm Duck pancakes, a pizza and Lamb Rump, nearly $100. Pancakes came in 10 minutes, pizza shortly after. Had to go up to the bistro and ask for the Lamb after waiting 36mins. I asked is this a lamb rump for 924 Ive been waiting nearly 40mins for? The female attendant pretended not to know and was mucking around on her ipad. She tried to explain the lamb rump takes a while to cook, yes I'm aware, I am.in Hospitality however, it doesnt take 40mins and still no attendant was in sight to attempt to take it to our table. She again tried to say the lamb rump takes a while to cook but it was cooked well done and if the so called professional chef knew anything the dish should be a Medium at the maximum. Tge attendant just stood there and i ended up taking the plate back to our table around the other side of the bar to find the meat well.done and the mash had obvioulsy been blasted in the microwave. Even after I walked back to our table no care or follow up to see if the long awaited meal was ok. Shame on the Chef trying to display any skill in presenting that meal. The numerous bar staff wandering around weren't much better. Lemon,lime and bitter that was flat within 5 minutes and I had to ask for the slices of lemon! The ginger beer on tap was also served with no lime or ice and was also flat quite soon after receiving it. Bar staff were too busy catching up.on gossip while several tables around our area had dirty glasses and plates. Bit sad when the place has so much potential but even when it slow trade, can't seem to provide a consistent service. Prices for food and beverages definitely dont match the product or so called quality.

Marsden brewhouse is a huge place that offers a great dining experience with your family and friends. It has a nice selection of beers and the food is delicious served at the right temperature with a consistency in taste everytime you ask for it. It has both indoor and outdoor seating available and hosts events too. Reservations are recommended but not necessary. Highly recommendation place yo visit in this vicinity.

Someone supplied tables that have footings that Godzilla would be proud of. So very difficult to get into a both with these things in the way. Design disaster. Ask not to have a booth.

The food was average and a bit pricey , and the drinks expensive, there were plenty of tables to sit at though, unfortunately there were some out of control kids in the playground punching other children on the day we went, there parents did nothing about it even when confronted, but it shows the kind of people that go there.

Nice big venue, pretty. Friendly enough staff. However, I came in toward the end of lunch and it was NOT busy. My partner's food came out within 10 mins (pizza. It was good). I ordered the lamb ragu after being told there was no more fish. After 30 mins of waiting i was told that the chefs had just started and it'd take about 10-15 mins. It came out 20 mins later. 50 mins for a freaking PASTA dish is ridiculous especially when it's not busy. The pasta was undercooked, the lamb was overcooked, and the sauce was lacklustre at best. Almost like it was cooked by a sad teenager during exam period who wants a change from 2 min noodles. I normally order pasta when what i actually want isn't available just because it's hard to screw up. Whomever was in the kitchen succeed in doing so. It was easily the second worst pasta dish i had ever paid for. At the very least, the bar staff didn't argue when I said less sugar in the cocktails 🤷‍♀️

All I can say tonight was definitely unbelievable and unforgettable experience. My Husband was lining up on the bar to buy a Jug of beer and one of the Bar tender was flirting with few girls which totally fine and non our business but what's not fine and disrespectful is when it was my husband turn to be served the bar tender (Jeremy) was to busy chatting up the ladies so he told my husband to go back to the line and wait for his turn even though it was his turn. My husband moved and done exactly what the bar tender asked him to do and when it was his turn to be served by another person my husband asked for his name because he wanted to give feedback to management tomorrow. The bar tender got defensive and came to my husband asking why do you want my name to ruin my name? My husband responded I wanted to pass on my feedback because it was not nice what you did. But then my husband said that's fine miss understanding shake hands with the bar tender's and walked to his table. Then one of the security guards came after my husband after speaking to the bar tender which I don't know what he said to him and the security guard said to my husband you need to leave with an attitude and disrespectful tone and raising his eye brow at my husband. Then my husband said why I didn't do anything or disrespect anyone and all the security guards came and stood with my husband because they know him and know his never done wrong by anyone in the past and if anything his beyond to nice and clearly, they picked on the wrong person. My husband said I will be definitely taking this further and my husband and his client that was with him are local customers and deal with most of the businesses in the area and knows all the security companies around. We will be definitely taking this further regarding the bar tender and his behaviour and most importantly the security guards will need to be fired or moved immediately please. We are a regular customer who comes around 2-3 times a week sometime because of work meetings that my husband arranges with clients. Been coming to the Marsden Brewery House for the past 3 years and never had any issues with anyone and everyone knows us and greet us with love from the minute we enter because of the good relationship we have built with staff members and security guards. My husband Owns an Insurance Company and the disrespect he got and the behaviour he saw from your bar tender and the security guard was not needed especially when he didn't do the wrong thing. I'm sure your security cameras will show everything and you will see my husband did not start anything and it was the bar tender and then the security guard that thought he was on a power trip. So disappointed with Brewery House staff members and Security Company.

Food was absolutely appalling. Ordered the burrata with “rocket pesto”, the pesto was inedible and beyond bitter. Paid $28 for it and genuinely couldn’t stomach the taste. Ordered parmigiana, there was barely any cheese and it was drowning in over powering, acidic tomato paste. The chicken was thin and the crumb was so soggy. I’ve been to the Marsden a few times and every time it’s disappointing. Really sad because the atmosphere and space is nice. Over priced and incredibly poor quality. We won’t be returning to spend our hard earned money here.

Really disappointing. Paid over $40 for scotch fillet that was overcooked and dry. The tomato in the salad was mushy and bits of the lettuce were brown. First and last time I will go there.

I made a booking under my partners name because it’s her birthday and was told to give you my credit card details over the phone for a “cancellation fee” ? I gave my details and STILL received an email to ask for my credit card details, after I gave them over the phone with my booking! Firstly, what happened to the credit card details I gave over the phone? And when I called again asking what happened to my details the receptionist was extremely rude and made out it was my problem! Disgraceful service.

We went in around 3 PM on Friday afternoon . We had a baby with us and when we asked for a high chair , the girl in striped shirt told us to go grab it ourselves . Secondly , when we asked for a Pepsi max , the guy came in rudely and asked us to order it through the app. The customer service was very strange in general . We were not offered cutlery and plates . No smiling faces . The staff was busy talking amongst themselves ! Won’t recommend !Shittttt !!

On Nov 2024, we held an event at Marsden Brewhouse for my daughter’s baptism and unfortunately, my recent experience fell far short and would not recommend it to others. Here are the Pros and Cons. Pros: • Some of the dishes were good and the buffet was generous. • The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere and table decor. • The server on the day of the event was friendly. Cons: Communication: I was referred to different names of coordinators and I was left feeling frustrated and uncertain. I had to constantly follow up through email and phone calls before I got someone to assist me with the details of my event. It seemed like no one was taking ownership of the event. Event organisation and execution: On the day of the event, the staff in charge was disorganised and unclear about the arrangements that had been made. Despite prior discussion and confirmation of the table seating plan, the actual table plan did not match our agreed-upon layout. I made a seating chart for my guests but it was ruined, I requested 6 tables but they set up only 5 tables. If 6 tables were not feasible they should have told me. We had to make last-minute adjustments which were inconvenient and stressful. Several guests were seated at incorrect tables. The buffet menu was not followed as well. They also lack in accommodating special requests like 2 easels for welcome signage and find your seat signage but only one was provided. Timing: The final run sheet of the event was not followed. The buffet start time should be 1 pm but the food was ready at 2 pm. I was expecting quality service considering the price of the buffet. I hope the Marsden Brewhouse will establish clear channels of communication and respond promptly to inquiries. Perhaps, with some improvements in these Marsden Brewhouse could live up to its full potential. But for now, I would caution others to carefully consider their decision before booking.

Food was good, children's area is fantastic and drinks were fabulous!!! One thing, outdoor next to children's area even people were vaping, none staff says anything. No security guard to point out. Sunday, so many people were indoor and outdoor. There is no security guard.

This large establishment provides indoor and outdoor seating, a nice playground that would put some parks to shame, large bar areas, open comfy areas with lots of televisions to catch the latest sport event, and several areas that one can rent for their own private event. The restaurant area features a pizza area as well as number of excellent choices from salads to full racks of ribs. We went with the pizza special, which was cooked to order. The meat on these pizzas was outstanding - just melt in your mouth good with that melting cheese. We also went with the chicken schnitzel - huge juicy portions with a nice Diane gravy like Mum used to make, and a pasta dish that was also melt in your mouth good. The drinks here were great. The quality of the local brew was outstanding and for those individuals who have trouble making up their mind - beer flights are available. Great place - not the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for here. Definitely recommend!

I came for dinner but was ignored for a bit when trying to order a drink. I ordered the $59 steak, which was tasteless and definitely not worth the money. The chips were cold, and the serving of gravy was the smallest I've ever seen. What a waste of money!! Don’t come here

We held an event here in October 2024 in the Northern Pavilion for 50 people. The event was lovely and our guests enjoyed themselves. The food was tasty and serving portions were generous. There was plenty of food to go around. There was a good atmosphere and the decorations, while not cheap, were exactly what we asked for and suited our theme. However, it is unlikely we will be using this venue again for the following reasons: - Communication: The event management were hopeless communicators. We had to make multiple phone calls and send many emails to hear anything from them. No one could answer our calls and kept telling us they would call us back - it did not happen. It took contacting management to get any action. Information that was provided to us was out of date and changes were not communicated to us, for example: the menu list sent to us was totally wrong. Make sure to book an in person meeting otherwise expect to be left in the dark. - Event Organisation: While we were told we had final say of the event's organisation, simple requests such as a slight timing change to the schedule were acknowledged but never acted upon. I never actually managed to be sent a final Runsheet, they kept sending me the draft version. Even on the day of the event, the staff present only had the draft copy with the errors still included. - Service Staff: The event coordinator on the day, despite assurances of access and availability was hard to find when needed and was even seen rolling her eyes at my husband when he approached her to ask a question. - Timing: We were given a schedule for the timing of the event and were told we could alter as necessary. None of our changes were acted upon. Then, on the day, the staff did not follow through with their own schedule. The first course of savoury food was over 30 minutes late and second course of sweet food was even later coming out. For a 2 hour event, this was a real issue. - Cakeage: We paid $2.50 per person for cakeage. It took them 45 minutes to cut the cake. Our event had technically ended before it came out and some guests had already left! Our beautiful $400 cake was totally hacked into irregular pieces. It looked like a mess piled onto a single small plate. It was impossible to pick up a single piece and put it on a plate. I will note, the cake was a modest sized, round cake. It was not oddly shaped and there were cutting instructions provided.

A very popular place in Masden Park. It's a good place to hang out. This place has various areas to choose from. If you are into racecourse🐎, they have a special area with televisions. If you like soccer ⚽️, they have another area. If you just want to chill with friends 👥️ inside or outside, it's your choice. They have an area with live music 🎶. That's the beauty of this place Variety". 😍"

Food was terrible here. We went to the Marsden as it is a local spot. Chicken skewers were undercooked, margarita pizza was overcooked, drinks were poorly mixed e.g the lemon and lime bitters tasted like flat lemonade and I can only assume the kids spaghetti was reheated in a microwave. We got there at 5pm and there was leftover food, cutlery and rubbish on nearly every table outside. We had to clean up the area ourselves before sitting down. Will never go back there. Disappointing as there’s a lot of potentially with its location and playground facilities etc.

I came here to order dinner because I didn't feel like cooking today. I ordered a rump steak($38) in medium, and my husband ordered a burger. The steak I received was almost rare, had no seasoning at all, tasteless and the meat felt like chewing rubber. I took it back and ordered fish and chips, but that had a strong fishy smell as well. I don't think I'll order any food here again, except for beer. Really, Don't order the steak here!!

Rating one experience as we have been a few times. 4 out of my 5 family's meals were wrong and the waiter was so rude and was insisting I ordered it wrong. She then, in front of the large gathering we were apart of, made me walk over to the counter and show her who I ordered from as she didn't believe me. I showed her and thankfully the person behind the counter agreed with me and apologised. It was pretty embarrassing having to do that instead of her sorting it out as she had the guys name on the docket who took the order. Then the 4 meals came back the second time and 2 were still wrong as they forgot to put the smashed avocado in them. I carried them back over to the kitchen and was asked grumpily what's the matter? I found my waiter and told her and she was short with me and walked off. so I spoke to the kitchen staff directly. For all of my hassles they put on the tiniest smear of avocado. Once I got back to the tables I realised they'd forgotten another ingredient on the burgers but I didn't bother this time. Then the table ordered coffees in mugs. 2 people in separate orders from the table got theirs in glasses without offering a refund, and they just said sorry we ran out of mugs! The coffees took 20 mins to arrive. Both people complained they paid for a mug size and the waiter eventually brought them mugs. Complete shambles and embarrassing to fix their errors so many times and be treated like dirt for it.
